Great food and great service for a Sunday brunch! The indoor space is on the smaller side, but they do have outdoor seating as well. We ordered coffees and a variety of items for the table: spicy grilled gulf shrimp tacos, chicken & scallion waffle, Turkish eggs, Jonah Crab Eggs Benedict, mushroom toast, and fries. The food came out fairly quickly, which we appreciated. Everything tasted delicious and also felt healthier and lighter (which is great) compared to a lot of other classic American brunches. I saw that this restaurant is part of a restaurant group with other spots in the area, like Little Owl and the Mary Lane - can't wait to check those out next time!

Always love coming here but this season's menu is particularly good. Ordered the burrata app, codfish, and crème brulee and all 3 were delicious. So many different flavors that blend so well together. Also most of the menu is gluten free or can be modified to be. Waiter was very knowledgeable of cross contamination and I felt very safe eating here as a celiac.

I went to this restaurant for some lunch and a couple of cocktails. When I arrived, I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. I found parking about 10 minutes away. I walked into a cute restaurant. I was sat by the manager and Luis was my server, and he was good. I ordered from the lunch menu, the pumpkin gnocchi, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. For my cocktails, I got the espresso martini, which was really good, and the lemon drop martini, which was ok. The food came out, and I enjoyed the gnocchi. It was different as far as flavor but good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was good, just a little sticky. I definitely had a good experience!

3.5 rounding down to 3 Came here for brunch with a friend with no expectations and was actually pleasantly surprised! The restaurant itself is super cute and located in a perfect area in the West Village. The staff was so kind and provided great recommendations as well. We got the espresso martinis, which were some of the best I've had in the city. My friend and I decided to split 2 entrees so we could try a few things. We got the chicken and waffle and the hash brown with eggs. The chicken was fried perfectly and was really tasty, and the waffle was good as well, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the hot honey on top. The hash brown was soooo tasty, but neither of us really enjoyed the hollandaise that was put on top. Overall, I might come back, but I'm not sure I would go out of my way.

Market Table is a local gem! This is one of those restaurants that we all have in our neighborhoods that we make a habit of going again and again. It's one of those consistent performers where you can take your friends and know that they will be fed well and treated well. This is not a "me too" restaurant that serves "Fried Calamari" or "Clam Chowder". There food is meticulously prepared and well presented using high quality "farm to table" ingredients. I also like the fact that I see the same servers over and over again. The waitstaff is consistent and knowledgeable about the ingredients in all of the dishes and cocktails. The host, Pam, always greets us (and every other customer) with a huge smile of recognition. We love this place and you will to. It's worth noting that Market Table is part of a restaurant group that includes The Clam, Little Owl and the Mary Lane (among others). These are all really good restaurants, but my local favorite is Market Table.

All I can Say is My god! What a letdown! I was here recently before catching a movie at the film Forum. I have been here many times before and had -up until this time- a good experience. This time-I went for lunch - And it was simply awful: The server was sullen, a request for bread was deemed inappropriate- But Now the food: simply bad and disappointing!' The Omelette with cauliflower and bacon tasted like it had been boiled and was barely cooked. It was like eating Raw mushy egg. I have had omelette s here before and they were great. It is not hard to make an omelette. My ten year old niece can make one. At these prices- $26.00( including a Soda) I'd rather get an avocado toast or a smoked salmon on a bagel from Anywhere in the Village. I noticed the place was not busy so I can only venture to guess that other clients have noticed the same changes in the food quality. Nevertheless, from my perspective , I guess I'll need to find another spot to have lunch in the West Village.

Exceptional service. Solid vibe. The Market Breakfast is heat. Soft scramble your eggs because it's legit the best way to take your eggs. Be baller and a shot caller by slathering some wicked good Dijon all up over that sausage patty. This is NYC and you can't get a good biscuit to save your life. Market Table has the best in the city. Maybe the only. Word up.

Stopped by for brunch with some girlfriends on a Sunday, made a resy but saw people walk in without one and be seated. Nomz: Had the smoked Gouda bacon cheeseburger and it was a big one haha menu didn't mention it but it was double meat and came with a healthy portion of fries. It was pretty tall, so hard to get a good bite in but was flavorful. Drinks: Went with a bubbly rose, not too fruity, on the drier side. Service: Was phenomenal, Sam was our server and he was super genuine and nice and nailed the right amount of checking in on us. Ambiance: Seems like a great spot for families, we were in the outside heated tent and it was quiet, too quiet for what we were looking for. Inside seemed a little more lively and had some music on. Nope or Dope: Nope for me, personally the vibes were not what I was looking for in a brunch place and food wasn't out of this world to come back otherwise.

They're very close to each other. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and drinks. I highly recommend trying the What's Up Doc. The Market Lunch was an excellent value. We had the salmon and chicken entrees. They come with 2 sides. The chicken portion was twice the size of the salmon. The crispy mushrooms were excellent.

Wow the food was spectacular! We had the salmon, halibut, polenta, strawberry shortbread. Everything was excellent. It's not too crowded but it def filled up at dinner time. Perfect for a lowkey dinner where you want to wow the tastebuds of your guest (and yourself!). Yes, there's a happy hour. It ends at 5pm.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time at Market Table, and I enjoyed the food.
I ordered my burger medium, and the flavor was their. The bun could have been toasted more, so not to be soggy as you continue to eat it. Fries were very good.My girl only enjoyed the biscuit and the salad from her breakfast. I tasted the biscuit, and it was good, and I'm not a biscuit eater, really. She also felt a lack of attentiveness to our table. However, it seemed to be not to just us from her observation. They were busy on an early Sunday mid-day. She also felt we shouldn't have to ask for condiments. However, our server was pleasant, and the atmosphere was cool.

Good food service cocktails you name it! We traveled a long way to go theatre and eat dinner here for my birthday. Great experience and worth the 3 1/2 drive from Maryland .appreciated the time and care they took with presentation of quality.

Charming ambiance, attentive service, delicious food (local burrata and salmon in particular, YUM), and a stellar cocktail menu. Everything was perfect about our meal here.

There's better places to eat in NYC, if you're visiting don't waste your time here. The food is just ok but the restaurant is super packed and tiny. We had a starter and an entree each and left unsatisfied.

Back for my oyster fix, plus the arancini and steak bites are yummy. Service is prompt and polite. I'm never disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and delicious food with no fuss.
The staff is wonderful. The drinks were also a hit. I would definitely go back when in the neighborhood.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for brunch on a bustling Saturday.
Adorable atmosphere, cute indoor vibe and offers outdoor seating as well. Service was really friendly! Got seated immediately. Ordered the eggs Benedict and I believe the market breakfast - so good! Everything was really fresh and full of flavor. Also enjoyed a mimosa and some coffee. Really cute spot!

I've been meaning to stop by this restaurant for at least a year now (honestly, I just get distracted sometimes, it's unfortunate). They offer brunch, lunch, and dinner. I recently visited with a friend and I enjoyed my experience quite a bit. I don't know what it was...maybe the ambience and buzz of a lively Friday night in the West Village? It is definitely a spot for friends, couples, and almost any party type.We started off with drinks (not pictured) and ordered the Autumn Leaves and Golden Hour. If you like passionfruit I would recc the Golden Hour! For our meal we decided on the burrata, crispy chicken, and acorn squash. Burrata - I *loved* the honey roasted figs. Thickly glazed from the honey, slightly chewy. The cheese itself tasted fine but I enjoyed the contrast of the tartness and texture with the fig. Crispy chicken - For some reason I skipped over "crispy" when I was reading the menu but I enjoyed this dish a lot nonetheless. Who doesn't love fried chicken? The skin held up perfectly crispy, enveloping the juice of the chicken. The low-key star of the show here was definitely the hazelnuts in combination with the warm sweet potatoes in brown butter. Oh my goodness. Please do try it for yourself.Acorn squash - My vegetarian friend can be quite a selective eater but I observed by the end of dinner that the entire plate was pretty much clean so, I take that as a great sign. Def visiting again and would love to try everything else!
Be the first to ReplyStaffs are very friendly.
Beet salad is very refreshing! The chicken is very crispy outside, and juicy in the inside. Love the little burned cinnamon stick in the Autumn Leaves cocktail, really brings up the smoky aroma of the bourbon. Duck breast's seasoning is a little uneven, salty in the outside, kinda bland inside. Apple dessert is not that special, not deserve to be the highest price item on the dessert menu.

I threw my husbands 40th birthday dinner in their private room downstairs. Everything was excellent, the food, service, planning process, flowers, timing of courses, chalk mural. The space was perfect for 15 guests. I would definitely host another event here anytime. Everyone really enjoyed themselves! Thank you Market Table!

I've been here a few times and was confident in bringing a party of 17 for a work dinner. As usual, everything was outstanding: food, cocktails, and service. We basically ordered everything off the menu and all 17 loved their orders. Many told me they would be going back. I really want to highlight the service here because serving a party that large is not easy but our server, Ivan, was outstanding.

I've been here a few times and each visit has not disappointed! They have so many gluten free options and are very knowledgeable about celiac safety. They are amazing and making simple things taste great. Octopus, steak, and carrots were highlights. The only disappointment has been the cocktails - I'd go for wine instead! But overall one of my favorite restaurants.

I've enjoyed several excellent meals in recent years at this wonderful, unpretentious restaurant. The cooking is consistently great, and the service is caring and accommodating in a way that is rare in my experience. It's just a pleasure to have dinner here. The outdoor dining, especially in the tents along Barrow Street, is especially pleasant. Congrats to all for doing a great job in challenging times.

I was very upset with Market Table because a charge that was supposed to be on my credit card was added to my friend's bill AFTER he signed the credit card receipt. The restaurant called me to apologize and I do appreciate that gesture. The meal was terrific and I plan to return there for more excellent meals.
