We didn't have the fate to be able to try the chef's tasting menu $595. It was fully booked in November and December. But we still wanted to try before they officially close down at the end of December so we tried their Bar menu instead. We tried everything except the sauteed pears with vanilla ice cream and golden osetra caviar. Caviar was $250. It was definitely a lot cheaper than the tasting menu. It's about $400ish if you try everything. So it was about $386 for our bill but including 2 wine glasses. We also got full off the breads that come with the dishes. We also asked if there's any off menu dish that we could try. The white truffle pasta was $225. Very pricey, so we didn't do it. It's the only option if you still want to try Manresa before it closes down. There's 4 seats at the bar counter and 2 lounge sofas. We sat at one of the lounge sofa since that's the only seat that's open. We saw 2 tables outside but it's way too cold to sit outside. Doesn't look like there's any heat lamps. The lounge area doesn't have much a wait since people don't really eat and drink long. We saw people leave and come for the bar area quite often. We stayed for about 2 hours. Most of the food we had were good. The lighting was dim and temperature was warm. Service was ok. Bartender took a while to refill our water glasses and give us our bill. But he's the only person servicing the bar area. We also needed suggestions on white wines, so the bartender brought over the wine connoisseur. He kept telling us about the wines, but not on how the wine tastes and the notes lol...At least he was knowledgeable.Parking is either street or the public/customer parking lot. Very easy parking when we went on Sunday night. But there could be some improvements. Wished we could have been able to try the chef's menu but it's quite pricey. You won't get the whole experience at the Bar area, but it's better than nothing now.Bonito tuna sashimi style- very fresh Pate de Campagne- too saltyGrilled gruyere & black truffle sandwich- very oil & buttery, didn't taste any truffle taste. But guyere was good. It's just like a grilled cheese sandwich.Charcoal grilled Manresa Bread Levain and Foie gras- very good. Foie gras is fatty and oily.Grilled beef tongue sandwich- so tender and melt in your mouthDuck terrine & apricot confiture- not salty at all and has pistachio nuts. Good textureDaily dessert selection- chocolate granache & chocolate gelato with gold flakes- very goodFosse-seche Saumu "Arcane", Loire Valley 2018- chenin blanc, dry, smoothBuisson-battault bourgogne-Aligote , France 2018- rose, smooth, has a hint of sweetness
