CARAMA -Where to begin?!?! We were tired from drive to Vegas , hungry and late to our reservation. The hostesses out front were welcoming and professional and were able to get us a table! Then we met Amber, Ernesto and the manager who told us they would be serving us as a team. We were very impressed with the ambience, very high end and yet welcoming. We had cocktails and the 3 and 3-AMAZING! For dinner we ordered a bottle of 2019 Darioush Merlot, grilled swordfish and Ravioli al formaggio contadino and bread. My husband could not stop talking about the swordfish, so delicious. The ravioli was also amazing. We finished with cannoli and tiramisu. Our entire experience was top notch and high end with the pleasure of being welcoming, friendly and comfortable at the same time. It was a perfect experience! We will be telling everyone we know and posting on social media about our time.

This is a lovely restaurant with great ambiance, and excellent food. Because this is Wolfgang Puck's place, my standards were pretty high and each one was exceeded. The service is stellar as well. From a price point, it isn't as over-the-top like a like of high-end spots in Vegas. I'd definitely return!

Very upscale restaurant, I'm not an Italian food lover but my wife wanted to try so we did. Service was great and food was delicious. Unfortunately I'm lactose so pasta is not my fav. We enjoyed our dinner and price was within its range of type of restaurant. Silverware was new and clean along with the restrooms were clean and very nice. Thank you for your services.
Be the first to ReplyWe were seated right at opening.
At first, the service was very friendly and nice. The food is spectacular! The pan fried pork chop milanese was very tasty, still juicy even though it was served sort of katsu style. There was a special that evening with scallops that was not on the menu. It was delicious, to say the least. The Alaskan king crab mezze lune was amazing! Even the chargrilled asparagus was served with lemon aioli butter, which made it very good. Overall, there's nothing we can say bad about the food at all. Everything was superb. It's just too bad the service didn't live up to our expectations, or the restaurant's reputation. First of all, our server casually asked us if we wanted some bread for the table, and we said sure. However, when we inspected the bill at the end, we noticed a $7 charge for bread. Who does that? Most all the nice restaurants we go to serve complimentary bread before dinner, and if not, they will tell you what the charge is. Our server just sort of slid that one in on us. We believe once the server found out we weren't drinking, he pretty much left us to ourselves after that. We had to wave down other staff to get refills, get our bill, things like that. Speaking of the bill, that's when things went real sour. To make a long story short, we had to have the bill returned to us three times to have it corrected. The weirdest part of our entire visit was at the end, our server stood right over my shoulder and stared as he watched me enter the tip amount into the little machine he put right in front of me. That made me feel very uncomfortable. So, I would only give about two and a half stars for the service. But, the excellent food makes up for some of that. I just wish we would have got the kind of service that warrants the pricing.

We were able to get in easily on a Saturday night, so if you're looking for some decent Italian food at Mandalay this is a good option. Service was very attentive and friendly, and location is nice. The menu is pretty limited overall. I was disappointed that there wasn't many options for pasta, so ended up just getting chicken parm. The chicken was a huge cut, and could easily be split between two people if you get a side of spaghetti as offered. Prices are a tad high, but to be expected given the location.
Be the first to ReplyLupo by Wolfgang Puck is located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
We booked a reservation for dinner before the Micheal Jackson One show. Classy decor with a bar in the middle. We had the following items: Fritto Misto 5/5 Meatballs 4/5 Egg Plant Lasagna 5/5 the best lasagna I have ever had Consensus of our table. Would go back for this. Steak Tartare 4/5 Strawberry ice cream4/5 Focaccia bread 3/5 Linguine with clam sauce 5/5 Tiramisu 3/5 Service was excellent. Valet parking at Mandalay Bay is $40 but the worst is that we waited 25 minutes for our car to come.

Food was excellent! Feels like fine dining! Service was good, very friendly servers, could have been a bit more attentive though. At times we needed some bread for our board etc... ambiance was nice and clean! Overall great experience!

The waitress was very attentive and led us in the right direction for a delicious meal and a perfect dessert. I would def come back if we had her again. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. I was in a good coma lol

My wife and I really wanted Italian on our trip to Vegas. Lupos was the closest to our hotel so we made reservations. Upon arrival we were seated right away. The waitress, despite being pregnant, was working her butt off. They had a really good bourbon menu. Food was outstanding. We started with the charcuterie board which was delicious. I ordered the bolognese and my wife ordered the pizza. Both were tasty and on point. Overall... left full and also left a nice tip for the overworked, friendly, and pregnant waitress.
Be the first to ReplyThis was a disappointing meal, unfortunately.
Our waitress took our order and mostly disappeared thereafter. We had to ask a busses for our check. I got the chicken Parmesan which was bland. Our waitress suggested a small pasta side since it was on its own. I agreed - it was a bland, very small serving of spaghetti which turned out to be $14. The ravioli was just ok - not great for a pasta place. Bread and oil was good.
Be the first to ReplyHad dinner here after a show.
Although late, we were seated promptly. Ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. The appetizer came out well before we received our wine. I had the linguine with clams. Dish was warm to room temp. Portion was relatively small. Friend dining with me had the Bolognese which was good but also a small portion. Did the meatball appetizer along with the dinner. They were tasty.
Be the first to ReplyService was great and the food did not disappoint.
Meatball appetizer was delicious, meat ravioli was tasty and kids enjoyed the pizza and spaghetti. Restaurant was a little loud when we went. It's located right off the casino in Mandalay Bay.

Great service ! Waiter was very polite and suggested a few drinks to us. The food was also amazing. I tried the agnolotti short rib pasta. Very rich in flavor , I will definitely be going back !

Be the first to ReplyWe have been wanting to try one of Wolfgang Pucks
We have been wanting to try one of Wolfgang Pucks restaurants and chose to visit Lupo as our first one based on some pleasant reviews from our friends. We visited on a Saturday at 9pm (we had a reservation for a party of 4). The restaurant was packed and lively. We ordered the Focaccia Della Casa (was not available), Agnolotti del Plin, Crispy New Potatoes and Lobster Fra Diavolo. Service started off really great but fell short after we received bread in replacement of the focaccia. It took an hour for us to receive our dinners and we rarely saw our main waitress until it was time for the bill. The pastas we ordered were good but the time it took for us to receive our food really made this an unpleasant experience. We will likely not return to this restaurant as there are so many places to try in Vegas and the service here didn't hit the mark for us. Our friends had a better experience at this particular restaurant about a year ago so maybe we just happen to visit on an off day.
Be the first to ReplyWe have been dining at this restaurant since Jason Jones
We have been dining at this restaurant since Jason Jones and Chef Shawn Giordano were at the helm. Over the years we have seen, many managers move up from Lupo to other WGP Las Vegas establishments. With that we got to know the new gm and it always was ok and we still felt welcome and enjoyed our time there. Now though, it has completely lost its, Wow! New management is not welcoming, in fact quite awful. The food is nowhere near where it used to be. Since the current new chef we have noticed quite a downgrade in food taste, appearance and quality. The service is bad, almost a feeling like the servers are uncomfortable or unhappy. The current chicken parm is thick cut and not flavorful. They even got rid of the best drink on the menu, the pear martini. Just sad, and reminiscing about the good old days. If Brad sees this, we love and miss you! And pastry chef Angela, your deserts will live in infamy, you are also loved and missed! If I could picket outside, my sign would read bring back BRAD!

What an overrated, blowhard bunch of fluff!!! Food very expensive, drinks even more.Spent $106 on 3 drinks and a pizza!Service was the worst, although food and drinks good.Nothing special here.We heard it took months to get into the restaurant, yet 1/3 of the place was empty from beginning to end.Waitstaff prevented from splitting check into more than 3 ways! I was vocal that we were members of a Board, and that the policy would hurt the waitstaff. They finally relented...NEVER AGAIN!
Be the first to ReplyOverall very good.
We ordered linguine alle vongole which was delicious and the bread is amazing. The pasta bolognese was actually quite bad. Lemon tart really good. Service is good but VERY, VERY slow. You need at least two hours to have supper.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time trying a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and definitely
First time trying a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and definitely met our expectations! Made a reservation for 14 people for 8pm on a Saturday night for President's Day weekend. A couple of folks were lagging to make it on time but they eventually sat us after 15 minutes with half our group there. Luckily this spot is located right next to self parking so no delays in finding this spot. Its pretty nice inside and the bar looks fully stocked with the best brands. Our waiter and food runner were very good and waters were always filled.Food: - Grand Platter of Italian Meats & Cheeses (Charcuterie Board) $37 - great appetizer with your wine. Everything was really good but one of the salamis was spicy af. I almost didn't order this bc of the price but then again, this is the same price as found in Eataly at Park MGM so it's all good xD just go for it if you haven't had charcuterie in a while- Grille Colorado Lamb Chops - holy sheep this is the best lamb I've had in a while. Medium Rare is the best for this and it turned out perfect. Super soft and easy to cut. Did not have the gamey musty taste that I've experience else well- Agnolotti del Plin with Braised Short Rib - first time having this pasta and to me it was basically ravioli. The short rib was amazing and I plan to come back just for this with some red wine on my next visit. Ciao for now!

I had the most extraordinary experience in fine dining, than I've had in Many years to date. The waiter, Eric, was attentive, animated and on his game. From his solid recommendations of specialty drinks, coc.espresso martinis, to Caesar salad and a meatball hors d'oeuvres, to the main dish, bolognese, perfection.Treat yourself. You will feel like a Queen and King!

Mood: Valentines Date with MyselfLocation: Mandalay BayOrder: Caesar Salad, Wagyu steak, polenta, tiramisu, Grand Marnier Price: $160.40 + GratuityReservation: No, seated at barThis is a nice, sit down restaurant with plenty of service personnel and lots of fine dining touches. All tables were reserved, so I sat at the bar. My waitress seemed too busy to be beneficial except when I placed my order. Thankfully, the male bartender was nice and helpful.I was "discouraged" from ordering the steak with a warning "it takes 45 minutes to prep steaks." Not a problem to me. Just meant I had to order an appetizer. Salad came out quickly with fresh shaved Parmesan cheese. I appreciate the heavy utensils used and replaced with each course. The steak was tender and delicious with salt flakes on top. The grilled onions and peppers and green sauce was not needed and seemed only added for aesthetics. The polenta good, but would have preferred a baked potato option. The tiramisu was also good, not spectacular though. It was a little deconstructed and the ladyfingers barely tasted of espresso. Overall, the meal was good but overpriced (in my opinion) for what you get.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I dined at Lupo on Valentine's Day 2023.
I was disappointed overall by the experience. The food was okay, nothing bad, but nothing special either. The service was spotty, (long wait between courses). I think my disappointment comes from high expectations, given the high prices and the name associated with the restaurant. Sadly, the food failed to impress, the service failed to be special, and the prices left me feeling taken advantage of. Honestly, I think you could have a better experience at your neighborhood Italian restaurant in most people's hometown at a fraction of the cost.

The restaurant looked fun and cool, but right away, it was very uncomfortable. It was a very loud atmosphere. In addition, The tables are so close together that my elbow could bump the chair at the table next to us. When people passed the table, they would brush against us. It was very intrusive with how close they were together. The server was very nice, but there were so many runners and not enough servers which caused a delay in service. The water and beverage refills were quick, and I enjoyed that. We got a bread appetizer, and it was good. My mother had the shrimp linguine and she thought it was really good and was surprised by how much shrimp was in the dish. I got the cheese ravioli and was not impressed. And to add, sadly, I ended up getting food poisoning and was sick the entire evening. Needless to say, I'm not going to be returning.
