The ambiance alone is worth a trip to LMNO! It is so chic and colorful, worthy of a Rittenhouse address. It is an excellent bar with creative cocktails - even glittery ones! If you don't see a drink you love on their menu, ask the helpful bartenders and they'll make you one! I love their frozen mango margarita as it's super frozen and tart. In a city where frozen margaritas are scarce, this one is definitely on point! Their food, while a bit expensive for a Mexican restaurant, is exceptional. If you love ceviche, look no further; theirs is the best we've had in Philly. Kevin, one of their servers, will gladly help you with the menu and give you ideas about dishes to fit your taste. Don't skip dessert, either. You can see some pictures of the food we've eaten below and I'm sure you'll agree it's worth the trip. Make a reservation through Resy so you don't need to wait once you arrive.

my roommate and i went here last year for an end of the year dinner. it's relatively close to temple's campus if distance is a concern. we honestly could've walked there because it was a nice enough day but we had a reservation and we wanted to be on time. this place has a beautiful interior, something i noticed upon entry. they have a bunch of seating sections, at the bar, inside and outside under the shade. the staff was very friendly and attentive. they gave recommendations when we asked because everything on the menu seemed promising. my roommate and i opted for the birria tacos. this was our first time having them and they did not disappoint. they were extremely flavorful and the food came out piping hot. definitely recommend this spot if you're in philly!
Be the first to ReplyFood is very tasteful.
Service is prompt, ambiance is perfect. I love this place. Bunching with my family on the weekends, we always head to LMNO.

Be the first to ReplyGreat experience at LMNO .
. the ambiance was amazing and relaxing. The service was impeccable and I'm so sorry I don't have the servers name he was awesome at explaining the menu and suggestive. The appearance alone how the food came out was on point. Everything was and looked fresh. We order two fish platters(one baked one fried) shrimp tacos, pork nachos, mexi corn , guacamole with crab (Lordy Lordy) I could of just ate that And been happy although that fried snapper was to die for. It's safe to say I'll be back. It is a little pricey but u get what you pay for ..

After reading other reviews before dinner, I was expecting to be slightly disappointed by the portions but this did not happen, not even close. The portions were perfect and adequate for the prices. The prickly pear marg is refreshing and honestly a beautiful color (it being pretty just adds something). I wasn't feeling very adventurous but there are so many items I'll need to try when I return. The carnitas tacos were so full of flavor, tasted fresh, and the meat was cooked perfectly. The toppings were a nice addition but didn't overwhelm the meat. Guac was pricey but 10/10 would get again. Loved the corn and that it was off of the cob. Our server was so helpful and didn't rush us at all, he made sure we had plenty of water throughout the evening and kept refilling our glasses as needed. He also went over the menu a little since it was my first time & noted his recommendations, which is always appreciated. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try their seafood dishes.

Waited forever for our table 3/18, was treated horribly by the manager who cut us off and accused my party and I of being severely intoxicated which was not remotely the case. My friends and I dine out often in the city and have never experienced anything like this, nor are my friends the type to ever get "too drunk". My friends birthday was ruined and we will absolutely never be back.

Really nice vibe, great atmosphere, beautiful aesthetics, loud LOUD music (could be lowered) and tasty food. We ordered the shrimp nachos to share and they were excellent. The best nachos ever. The chips made the biggest difference. They were so thick, light, airy but crunchy. They held the ingredients on the nachos well without getting soggy which I loved. Will order again for sure. The prickly pear Margarita was tasty as well. Overall good food. Prices were decent a little on the more expensive side but worth it due to quality.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful service, margaritas and space.
Food was alright - wouldn't come back for it.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite Asian/Mexican fusion restaurant.
Vibes are nice (if you are into loungey atmosphere in the restaurant), staff is super friendly and helpful and food is above average. I recommend getting the oysters as an appetizer and trying Pescado Zarandeado.
Be the first to ReplyI visited LMNO because my Airbnb host recommended them.
The brisket tacos looked good! I didn't realize there would only be TWO tacos per order. My brisket tacos were delicious. The meat was crisp on the outside yet tender on the inside, and modestly seasoned. The corn tortillas tasted housemade and didn't fall apart on me. But I would've expected more for $20. It seemed way overpriced for what it was. Maybe I could've justified it if I got three tacos. The Happy Hour looks a lot more affordable, but I didn't try it during this visit. There was nothing wrong with the service, either. They were prompt and helpful.Anyways, it's fine if you make a lot of money, but I don't think it's worth the price for what you get.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a horrible experience we had this evening.
We made a reservation 3 weeks ago for 6 of us. We arrived 5 minutes early and were directed to the bar where we were ignored. We waited 10,15 ,20 minutes at which point one of us decided to check with the host(ess) who informed us that our table was finishing their dessert. We continued to wait an additional 30,45 minutes and checked back in where we were very rudely informed that they " were doing the best they could" and there were other people waiting too. Once an hour passed us by, still standing we watched other parties of 5 and 6 get seated that came in after us. Finally 75 minutes past our reserved time we got sat in the back corner. The table next to us even commented " oh you finally got seated ?" No one came to the table after 5 minute I finally had to ask for some water. A staff member gave a very insincere apology and said they would bring some food right away for us being patient. After 10 minutes and some water a plate of octopus nachos came out. Well 3 of the six of us do t eat seafood. Not the best option to bring to a group of people without asking. After that we ordered appetizers , drinks and our dinners all at once. First came a cup of rice, then one dinner , then two more and the other three and we realized not only did our appetizers not come out but no one's cocktails came yet. Literally everything got thrown on the table all at once. The drinks were less than memorable not to mention served in a kid sized plastic cup. All six of us agreed we would never go back after dropping $260 which can only be attributed because only three people had 1 ( bad) cocktail each. The staff could have cared less that we waited an hour past our reservation and the actual service of the food was a complete disaster none of us will certainly ever go back again. We have regularly dined at many Steven Starr restaurants for over a decade this was surprisingly bad across the board. The music in the restroom was the best part.

Great drinks, great food, great vibe! Can't wait to comeback and try more things on the menu. I need to comewhen their listening room is open. (They host private events there and have a DJ! You can get a resy for TLR but spots are limited! 40ppl max) Cheers!

Honestly the food wasn't good and the drinks tasted like they were from a powdered beverage mix. I left one star because the staff was quick and friendly.
Be the first to ReplySome of these reviews are harsh lol.
Got an app and a side to split and my partner and I each got our own tacos. We left happy and satisfied. The Cucarachas were the star of the show.

We came to LMNO for an early Valentines Day dinner (highly recommend doing Valentines the day before for less crowds and less prix fixe situations). We had a list of dishes recommended by a friend who had been before and they did not disappoint. We got the street corn, birria tacos, and the whole branzino to share. Everything was amazing and I'd order it all again. The star of the night though was the branzino. It was charred at the edges and tender in the middle - actual perfection. The design of the space was really cool too - see the picture of the bathroom bathed in red light. We would recommend this place for anyone celebrating a special occasion and we will be back!

Drinks goodFood disappointingPrices don't make sense as to the foodIf in a group the food comes out as it's made so some people get their food 15-20 min before others do. Horrible system. Got the shrimp tacos and they were flavorless and bad. Just nothing special to them. Got some sort of prickles something drink and that was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyJust want to start out by saying LMNO has amazing vibes.
The deco, music, open casual space brought us Cali vibes which was perfect in the summer. Another plus: many easy street parking optionsFor food, we got birria tacos, regular tacos, oysters, guacamole & chips, along with sangria for a party of 3. Most of the food was on recommendation of our waitress. It was all pretty good overall, especially the oysters. (Minus the guacamole which I was not impressed by. Maybe it was just a bad day but I expected this classic to be at least up there if we were going to a Mexican place) Overall for the price I wouldn't go if I'm looking to be full, but it was a good and fun experience overall
Be the first to ReplyAmazing.
Had the best time at LMNO. Great ambiance, service is fantastic and the menu is awesome. Ordered the frozen spiced margarita which was flavorful and the spice wasn't overpowering. A pitcher was perfect for the three of us. Ordered the guac, which was simple and perfect and omg the verde aguachile *mind blown* I could probably eat that for the rest of my life and be really happy. Beef birra fries were great and we also got an order of carne asada tacos and the birra dirty tacos. So good. Highly recommend !
Be the first to ReplyIf you want festive-summer-vacation-vibes, I'm pretty sure
If you want festive-summer-vacation-vibes, I'm pretty sure you could get those here even in January, although this was a celebratory birthday dinner in July. I know there are so many great places to eat in Fishtown now, but making the trek over from West is usually a deterrent for me, but my good friend promised me that this would be "my kinda place". She was right. Start with cocktails, of course and don't skip the spicy Margarita. Also try Our Daily Veg that is especially refreshing for a summer evening (green juice, mezcal, chili liquor, lemon and pickled carrot). We sat at a bright yellow table on the shady patio but a seat at the indoor/outdoor bar looked really fun. We shared everything and ordered a feast. Definitely try the pescado saltine. We did and then put in another order! So good! The Vietnamita was delicious! Tuna, Napa cabbage, peanuts, charred guacamole...honestly a taste and texture explosion. Chips and guac and grilled esquites definitely delivered but my two very favorite orders of the night were the asada fries and the pescado zarandeado. Whoa. So the fries are smothered in shaved pork adobada that is tender, juicy and flavorful all packed on top of waffle fries, melted cheese cream and salsa fresca. Honestly, they made my heart skip a beat. The pescado zarandeado is a grilled whole sea bass that is the flakiest, tastiest fish I have had in a very long time dressed with dashi-achiote marinade (that's what gives it so much flavor) shishito, avocado, radish and then you roll all of that deliciousness into a warm fresh tortilla. This meal made me happy. A couple rounds of shots of mezcal, a delightful server, and tres-leche to end, all were icing on the cake.
