Unique French
We came to this restaurant for lunch based on the reviews. We opted for the 7 course dinner plan as we wanted to try the chef’s signature dishes. The restaurant was willing to accommodate our requirements. Very unique French Alsace cooking style and taste because of its close border between France and Germany. There is some acquired taste especially to the sauce n preparation involved. The French and Australian ingredients were magnificent. Love the wide variety of butter choices. The open kitchen concept and dining layout makes lovely interaction with the staff. For the 5 course lunch meal, most diners can finish the meal in 1.5hrs and the portion were acceptable. The 5 course pricing was reasonable for lunch. Will go back.
Be the first to ReplyCasual Atmosphere with Great Food
Casual settings/atmosphere. The kitchen is the main masterpiece while diners are being seated around it. Chef & staffs are warm and they serve you with great hospitality. Food are great. With some unexpected twist from the chef skills, you wouldn’t know that some ingredients taste so good. Go for their wine pairings as well.
Be the first to ReplyOmakase menu more like a set menu
Do not consider this , if you have beef or lamb food restrictions. Although they offer alternative. They just repeated a fish course , in lieu of veal maincourse. Michelin star establishment would have called up the customer,at time of receiving booking 10 days earlier n consulted with customer with the food restriction , their intended substitution for the degustation menu. And if customer did not think it would be a worthwhile sensorial food experience, the restaurant would not accepting the booking...maybe come back another time when the maincourse is not beef or lamb. Food wise, this was an exceptionally cold, rainy season in Singapore, more suitable for warming foods but we were serve food otherwise. More thought for the customer and curation should go into the omakase menu. owner could have invested in a more powerful exhaust system. We could smell the oil. Even the exhaust in my open kitchen in my home, is more efficient. owner should invest in some packaging, even restaurants in hotels have paper cake boxes, to support customers who are feeling too full, and would have like to take home the petit four. We were stuffed to our gills, it was not very pleasant for me to cram the petit fours.i could only manage 1 bite of each, n felt so nauseated and bloated n could not sleep

Full view of kitchen crew at work preparing the dinner and Chef Lerouy supervising every details making sure each dishes arrived perfectly on our table. Food were high quality, presentation stellar, service to pleased.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommended fine dining experience
My wife and I dined at Lerouy for the Valentine’s special 7 courses degustation menu. It was our first time in the restaurant. I must say we had an incredible food experience and had not eaten that well in a long time (and we dined at quite a few fine dining restaurants in SG). Congratulations to the chef and his team for putting on plates incredibly refined, flavourful, original and catchy to the eye dishes. What was very impressive is the quality throughout. Every dish, amuse-bouche were incredible. The service was professional and friendly. The wine was good, the setting overlooking the kitchen very original. We will definitely come back.

We were a bit tentative sitting down at the counter, and not at a normal table. Especially with one of the chefs chopping leeks at an amazing speed right in front of us. As it turned out, this was a perfect way to enjoy their menu. We loved watching the various chefs prepare their part of the meal. The delicate way they handled all aspects was a real art to watch. The staff was amazing. Beginning with Syam, the Maitre d'hotel. He was constantly coming around to make sure our meal was perfect. He even helped explain some of the dishes while both serving and bussing the table. Rouela, the sommelier was very professional in both her knowledge of wines and how she handled the presentations. We loved her and loved the pairings she chose. The Chardonnay with the sweetbreads was especially perfect. She really knows what she is doing. While we were not blown away by the chestnut dessert, the rest of the meal was such that we savored every bite. It was almost the perfect meal. Thank you Chef Christophe for making my birthday very memorable. We will certainly be back and will tell our friends they need to come.

We liked everything at Lerouy. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with every guest facing the open kitchen and enjoying live cooking. The staff is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and expert on the food served, even though we were repeatedly curious about the dishes. Finally the food was superb, tasteful and balanced, pleasing the eyes and the palate. Prices have gone up in the past couple of years, but so has the quality and variety of food. Each one of the 4 amuse bouche and the 7 dishes was an experience on its own, and the chef's creativity and technique are impressive. Well done Lerouy. We will gladly be back.

Excellent food and ambiance, the chef is French, the quality of food is excellent, just one thing waitresses must describe better the food when they serve it
Be the first to ReplyA bit of Alsace, a lot of France and most importantly an amazing experience
I have been visiting Lerouy for dinner after few months since my last meal. We had a really good time. The service staff were sharp and knowledgeable but not too intrusive. They have good sense of humor and describe dishes with ease. It is very interesting the see the kitchen staff focus on the preparation of each dish. From the Amuse Bouche (4 types), the amazing crusty bread with their selection of butter from Maison Beillevaire, We had a variety of ingredients all more surprising than the other. Always cooked very precisely, from Langoustine, St Jacques from France, sweetbread, foie gras etc…. The food was excellent, chef came personally few times to explain the dish and the concept around his creation. Highly recommended if you like good food and drinks.
Be the first to ReplyA must when visting Singapore
From the moment walking in the entrance, we knew this was going to be an exceptional gourmet experience. Being inside it was cooler that outside in Singapore. We were seated at a bench style small seating and felt like seating at the private chef’s table. I knew this was an international high-class restaurant, but it had a laid-back atmosphere. We were treated in a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Bookings was streamline and was located within walking distance from China Town. We indulged in the 5-course lunch tasting menu, which had a surprising number of amuse bouchée in addition. We also had the paired wines which totally matched what we were eat tasting. The sommelier from chatting knew our tastes in wines and added another one he knew we would really enjoy 100%. This was an experience to be savoured. We have eaten at several Michelin restaurant and the quality as to Lerouy uses hand-pick raw materials and carefully select producers from all over the world. Examples of this is Norwegian Langoustine and Guinea Fowl for South Africa. Lerouy is not as expensive as some we have dined and as to Paris and New York, but the quality of the food and wine makes it very good value. The flavours are awesome. And the staff as engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Should be more than a one star. One of my highlights was meeting the actual chef of the place and able to chat about his restaurant.

Be the first to ReplyWeekend Lunch at Lerouy
Had the lunch menu and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The courses were well-paced, and the service was stellar. Was great to see the chef-owner personally overseeing the bustling kitchen, and all of the staff were on the ball. Will be back for the dinner menu soon!

It looks like a journey...
observing the staff in action
delicious and surprising food
affordable and excellent wine
One of the best table in Singapore for sure!
Really Bad Experience
Heard good things about Lerouy even before they got the Michelin star, and finally able to get a couple seats for date night. Unfortunately turned out to be a really bad experience. Service staff were nonchalant the entire night, not sure if they were apathetic, or aloof or that this was supposed to be part of the experience.
My wife was served wine in a chipped wine glass, and when we pointed this out, service staff simply took her time to return with a new glass without so much as an apology.
Food was really so-so, and below average compared to all the similar places we've been to. Nothing unpleasant, but nothing that qualifies as delicious. Eponymous chef appeared to be absent that night, not sure if this had anything to do with it.
Interesting menu and polite service :)
Not knowing the menu first can leave you guessing :p Great for couples! Love the open concept kitchen to see the crew in action and promote more conversation with them :3

more on art instead of eating real food.. nothing special about it
Is a young team playing with the food, preparing in the artistic way
Disappointed, everything tasted the same
The meal started off promising. A selection of snacks were beautifully presented. It all went downhill from there and everything just tasted the same - flavours were very ordinary, either too rich or too bland and abstract. Was very disappointed as I had high expectations.
Be the first to ReplyPresentation is so creative and it tastes good too!
First impression of the curved dining space is impressive and very innovative. Good food and service. Will go again.
Be the first to ReplyOur favorite fine dining restaurant in SG
A friend told us about Lerouy 3 years ago and since then we go here roughly 5/6 times a year. It never disappoints. It really is great value for menu. The food is absolutely michelin level (our lunch today couldve easily be served in a 2 * restaurant) yet price is very reasonable. Would recommend lunch over diner 👍
Be the first to ReplySuperb really awesome
