Fine Brunch
We had brunch. The food and coffee were both terrific; I especially enjoyed the pastrami smoked salmon with a bagel. The setting is quite nice too. Service was friendly but pretty bad-slow and disorganized. Still, I would happily return and hope the service lapses were outliers.
Delightful
Atmosphere is truly Parisian. Wait staff was excellent. I had Trout Amandine (fantastic!!) and my spouse had the Burger du Maison (great!).
Best French Restaurant in the Midwest
First class restaurant from the time we got there until we left. The wait staff was unbelievable, and the food was soooo good. This place should be a required dining spot for anyone visiting Detroit.
Adequate but wouldn’t go back
The staff were pleasant and helpful. They kept asking for our personal details and in the end I had to be bordering rude before they backed down. We had the steak tartare… it was OK but not great… followed by the Moules… had to ask for a spoon… the spinach was good as was the Chablis.
Generous, high end cocktails ♥️
Girls night out with cocktails, starters and mains! Highly recommend the deviled eggs. We shared the salmon tartare and the steak tartare. Both great. Definitely a steak vibe, so we all steak ours was cooked to perfection. Cocktails are also very generous! Good service too
Be careful. Bathroom terror.
The service was good. The mushroom tart was good. I had to send the steak back. It was overcooked. They remade it. It still wasn’t great. The negative experience was really the multi gender bathrooms. The hostess had let someone in to use the bathrooms who were not customers. The individual faked being a bathroom attendant. He escorted me to a stall. I was in the stall. He yelled obscenities at me. I locked myself in the stall for at least 20 minutes. When I came out, I reported the staff member to management. The manager said they did not have a bathroom attendant. He came back later and said that the hostess had let two inappropriate individuals in the bathroom. He apologized. He said it would be a good story to tell in the morning. I will never feel safe at the restaurant after that experience and management didn’t do much to address the situation. I do not need to be the fun morning story after scary minutes of being locked in the bathroom.
Very Good. Not Great.
Excellent service. Food was consistently good - appetizers, salad, entree, dessert. None of it worthy of being talked about later. Solid wine list. Would happily return if invited, but will look for other spots myself.
Great experience
Second time visiting and both times were great! Service was good, building was unique and beautiful, everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. All four of us tried different dishes and we all loved them. We will definitely return. I don't understand some of the negative reviews and glad I didn't read them before going, we would have missed out on a fabulous experience.
What an awful experience, and the food is bad.
The service from hostest to waiter was horrible. We had a reservation yet were seated after others that did not have a reservation. We were continuously told that our table was being cleared off for 20 minuets. Then we were given a table that we could clearly see had been empty all along. We were given the worst table in the house an extremly small table (wood booth next to the door) The chair was wood slats that dug into my bottom, I had to ask for a pillow or cushion to sit in. The table was so small, there was not enough room for all the plates/drinks of the dinner we ordered. They appoligized for the small table , it clearly should have been for a table one person. We had hoped for a romantic birthday dinner. NO WAY Our pre dinner drink came after dinner, we were told repeateddly the drinks were being made, clearly more BS. The beans were so tough, I couldn't even cut them. The dessest was not what was stated on the menu, I was told they changed the dessert but didn't update the menu. It was awful. don't order puff pastery, it wasn't puff. Don't believe whatever BS they tell you. Only one thing we ordered tasted good. You think the food would be better at a French restraunt. Definetly not worth the money and very disapointing.
Delicious food and great ambience
Our experience at Le Suprême was positive from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by friendly staff who advised we would have a 30 minute wait for a table (we didn’t make a reservation). We waited at the bar and soaked up the ambience. We were shown to our table and met our waiter, Michael. Michael was engaging and efficient, making sure we had water for our table. He took our order and suggested if we were having more than two glasses of wine from the same bottle that it might be more cost effective to have a bottle rather than pay by the glass. Michael explained about the kitchens behind the scenes, saying almost everything is made in house apart from the butter. Our party enjoyed the French onion soup, pâté de campagne, steak frites, filet mignon au poivre and just one for dessert, tart au citron. The food was delicious! We could not fault it. We would highly recommend and should we ever find ourselves back in Detroit we would definitely go back to sample the delights of the menu.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Le Suprême Detroit at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Le Suprême Detroit page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* PerceptiveWash44, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* PerceptiveWash44 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PerceptiveWash44 for any questions Peter may have as PerceptiveWash44 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PerceptiveWash44 now uses their connections at Le Suprême Detroit to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PerceptiveWash44 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PerceptiveWash44 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PerceptiveWash44's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Le Suprême Detroit!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
