Good food but service not up to standard for signature dining
Enjoyed the food we had the cheddar cheese soup and both types of poutine as we didn't fancy steak. The poutine was a bit rich but that's not an issue. However the service we received did not seem very good. We noted on our reservation it was our honeymoon and the staff that showed us to our table mentioned it which was nice but then nothing from our server. Straight off the bat it was obvious the server was far more interested in the table next to us as there were four of them and they'd ordered alcohol (bigger tip). When the poutine arrived we asked for two plates as we were sharing both different poutines these then took 5 minutes to come as the server after we asked immediately began fawning over the table next to us again. She then bought the cold plates over. A short whilst later she noted we were slowly down and asked if we were finished and we said that we were. This was immediately followed by a "I'll bring the check," no asking if I wanted to look at the dessert menu or if I had any discounts (we are both annual passholders and find the presumption is usually we don't have annual passes as we are British) I pointed this out when the bill came. I still tipped 18% (I'd usually tip 22+) but this did not feel like signature dining nor good service.
Be the first to ReplyHorribly overpriced for a less than average steak.
3 adults ordered the new York strip steak @$54 each. It was incredibly disappointing. Cooked per order, but not tender or tasty. I recently bought 2 NY strip steaks from Walmart for $24 ( for 2), marinated and grilled them and they were far better than the overpriced steaks at Le Cellier. The side dishes were ok, the service was exceptional, but I won't ever be back to pay $$$$$ for an average steak.
Be the first to ReplyMediocre and bland- would not return
Two of us had the fish. It was supposed to be seared, yet it was very clearly burnt. Strong taste of charcoal. What wasn’t burnt was bland at best, including the vegetables. The loaded mashed potatoes were literally 50% bacon and way too salty. The bacon mac and cheese was easily the best dish. We wish we got quick service instead as it was 100% not worth the money and would not recommend eating there.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent birthday meal!
My husband put this on our "must try" list this trip, so I made sure to get a reservation when I was able. He was totally correct. I had the Bison Strip Loin and he had the filet mignon and we both agreed the bison was BETTER! It was such a wonderful dish and the sides perfectly complemented it (the filet was great- the bison was just that good)! The kids both had chicken and ate every bite (they are somewhat picky, so this is a feat). Our server was so sweet and very efficient and we just felt relaxed and well fed. We ordered the creme brûlée for dessert, but I was surprised with their chocolate "moose" because it was my birthday that day. I am originally from Minnesota and remember lovvvving mousse as a kid, but then moved to Texas and mousse was never as good so I thought I made it up. Until I came to Le Cellier. It was an immediate transport back to my childhood dessert days. This is what chocolate mousse is SUPPOSED to taste like- and it is perfection. You can still order it off the kids menu and I 100000% recommend it. It was all delicious, and I will likely go here on my birthday for every trip forever and ever now. Mmmmmm...
Be the first to ReplyMemorable Dining Experience at EPCOT
We loved Le Cellier Steakhouse. First time visitors. Loved the ambience, food, waitstaff. Highly recommend. You can't go wrong with the prime rib, macaroni and cheese putine. I would go back again in a heartbeat...
Be the first to ReplyLoved the Canadian cheddar cheese soup and filet mignon!
As a Canadian, this was the last place I thought I’d be eating but wow was I impressed. It’s definitely not the cheapest option at Epcot but the atmosphere and drinks were excellent. That Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup was amazing, I highly recommend that as an appetizer l, and the filet mignon is outstanding. If you don’t feel like going for a full meal, try going around the time of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival and try the soup and filet mignon at the Canada food booth! 100% don’t count this restaurant out if you have the extra money to spend, even if you’re already from Canada.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing restaurant!
Wow! The food and service were fantastic! We visited on New Years Eve and it was perfect. The cast members were extremely friendly and gracious (as Canadians ourselves we were happy to speak to them and see where they are from). The preparation and presentation of the food were also very impressive - cooked to perfection.

Disappointment is an understatement. I can’t even begin to describe the shock when I was served this as my meal, no this is not a steak, it is halibut! Yes I understand it is a steak house (I don’t eat meat, my family does) but it’s not to hard to expect that a piece of white fish isn’t sent out completely charred and burnt. I will also add, it was NOT blackened. Just completely burned. The fact they served this with no hesitation or embarrassment is beyond disappointing. Please note that this is also not a cheap meal. Over 500USD with tip for 3 people. White one was served warm as well. Servers were pouring for a communal wine hotel and letting it sit out. At 19 dollars a glass for a house white one, I’d expect more. Overall I don’t recommend it, it’s not even a true “Canadian dining experience” - we are Canadian! Save horn money and eat off resort, not only will you get seated on time, you will save money and have a better experience.
Be the first to ReplyWouldn’t go again, not worth the money.
After 12 years of coming to Disney we finally tried this restaurant. I was apprehensive on what to expect as over the years I noticed the reviews are a mixed bag of good and poor. For our visit it was poor unfortunately. The starters were ok and my daughter enjoyed the pork however our ribeye steaks were over seasoned, far too salty which was a shame. I actually think that even the cheddar soup and the poutine were also very salty. The service was good to start but then went downhill not sure if it’s a case of get you in and out as quickly as possible as the waitress cleared the rest of the table whilst I was still eating and proceeded to also put the dessert menu on the table before I had finished definitely not the service I would expect for such an expensive meal for a family of 4 especially when my youngest daughter only had Mac and cheese. We didn’t have any alcoholic drinks or desserts and we had DVC discount and the bill was still $240 which based on the food and service was not worth the money, far better places to dine. Definitely wouldn’t go again.
Be the first to ReplyHave the soup!
I’m not a big steak fan but my fiancé is so I booked this as a surprise for him. The food is delicious! We both had the Canadian cheddar cheese soup which was so tasty and the pretzel bread dipped into it was great! I had the signature poutine for my main which was good. For dessert I had the profiterole which is filled with cheesecake. I’d honestly go back again just for the soup and profiterole! The service was also really good.

It’s been a while since we dined in the restaurant. We typically eat here from the cart during Food and Wine Festival. The cheddar cheese soup was incredible as always and we actually split it this time which was plenty for two. However the filet really missed the mark for me. It was tough and chewy. Not sure if it was because I ordered it medium rare; spouse had medium and said it was excellent. As many times as I’ve had a filet from Le Cellier it’s never been bad.. this was really unusual!
Be the first to ReplyCannot manage reservations
Cannot depend on reservations! Had 420 pm reservation and could not get seated until 505 pm. Waited outside in chilly weather with our 86 year old father. Staff stated not their fault for running late. Obviously overbooked.
Be the first to ReplyJust Ok
For a restaurant that is at the Canadian pavilion at Epcot and whose objective is to represent Canada, it failed in some aspects to feel Canadian. The featured wines where from California and they had very little wines to pick from that where Canadian and most of the Steak choices where USDA versus Alberta beef. Overall the meal was great, service was Steller and the steak was prepared very well and the serving sizes where generous. However if you're looking for the Canadian experience at Le Cellier, you will be cheated.
Be the first to ReplyFun experience, average steaks
Overall, we liked our experience. Although, we did have to wait about 10 minutes before they seated us for our 7pm reservation. That's not an uncommon problem at Disney restaurants. The service was great and the wait staff are all from Canada! Unfortunately, not all the steaks are from Canada - only the fillet. I got a ribeye and it was a bit too chewy for a prime cut. I was expecting a bit more for the price (and the reviews). I think I've experienced too many really good steakhouses to appreciate this one.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing service from Manager (Server was lovely)
It was a last minute decision to change our dining reservation when we were able to get one at Le Cellier instead. I was organizing and making recommendations all through our trip and was excited to share this gem with friends who had never tried it. The front desk staff varied in terms of service - a few were very nice, and one was quite miserable and impatient with everyone waiting in the lobby. A nice woman from Ontario seated us at our reserved time. Our server was lovely. She was still earning her ears, but she was clearly experienced in serving at very nice restaurants. I started with the cheddar cheese soup which was not hot, but it was delicious. The restaurant was crazy busy and I didn’t mention the temperature. Everyone ordered steaks in our party, 2 Ribeyes, and 1 Filet Mignon. When they brought out our steaks they were clearly 3 different steaks, 1 Ribeye, 1 Filet Mignon, and 1 that looked like a giant slab - nearly the size of a roast. The server was gone in the blink of an eye, so by the time I registered this was not the steak I ordered, the ribeye, she was gone. We eventually managed to catch her eye, after about 5 minutes, the others started eating by this point so their food (which was amazing) would not get cold. When we pointed out the mistake, that my steak was not a ribeye - and it couldn’t be clearer because my friend did have a ribeye and they looked completely different, she apologized profusely and said she would take it back and that, of course, my meal would be complimentary. Soon after, she was back with the manager and the slab of steak - the manager said it was a ribeye but just a piece of a ribeye, and that is why it looked like it did (oval shaped about 6 inches long, 3 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall, like a little football with no visible fat or marbling), and would I like to keep it now that I knew? I said I would not, I wanted a proper ribeye that looked like a ribeye, and I’d be happy to wait for a new one. I really wish I’d managed to snap a photo before they took it away. The manager was clearly annoyed. Our server brought out the replacement fairly quickly but my friends were already finished with their dinners. The server leaned in and whispered apologetically that her manager would not agree to comp the meal, as she had assumed would happen due to their error, but that she did remove the charge for my appetizer. My steak was quite big, and not quite as tender as during previous visits, and lacked seasoning. The sides were okay, again not as good as during past trips. Overall, I regretted my choices. I understand that mistakes are made, and had no problem waiting for the meal I ordered, but I’m not at all happy the implication that I should have just eaten it even though it was not what I wanted (from the manager). For the price one pays at Le Cellier, you should get exactly what you order - and if they make a mistake they should fix it pleasantly. This manager has turned me off this restaurant for good - I’ll find another wonderful steakhouse offsite to recommend in future.

One of our favor restaurants lies within the Canadian Pavilion within EPCOT. Always a wonderful meal no matter when we go. Friendly staff and atmosphere is beautiful.
Be the first to ReplyBest birthday meal ever!
This restaurant located in the Canada pavilion at Epcot lives up to the hype. Even my picky eaters left with full bellies. We had lunch here the day we were celebrating my birthday and I loved it! It’s dimly lot and quite peaceful compared to the outside Disney chaos. Our server was attentive and kind and even surprised me with a chocolate mousse moose for dessert! We had the artisan cheese and charcuterie plate as an appetizer. Wonderful combination and variation of flavors.my daughter also had French onion soup as an app and said it was very good- although she liked it a tad better over in the France pavilion at Chefs de France. I got the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soul that so many people talk about and now I know why. It was delicious! Pair it with some pretzel type bread and oh my! So good! We had the Le Cellier Filet Mignon cooked medium with mushroom risotto, asparagus-tomato relish and truffle butter sauce along with bacon smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. The flavors were so distinct and honestly just wonderful. The kids meals include options like grilled strip steak, macaroni and cheese, along with Boursin cheese mashed potatoes. Desserts like chocolate mousse and ice cream sundaes are included with the kids meals. This place is outstanding and I’d recommend it to anyone heading to Epcot. A most memorable birthday meal that I’m thankful for!

This was our first trip to Le Cellier, but definitely not our last. My husband had the French Onion Soup and Filet Mignon (medium) with Mushroom Risotto, Asparagus-Tomato Relish, and Truffle-Butter Sauce. I had the Citrus Seafood Medley and Ribeye (medium) with Herbed Gruyère-Yukon Gold Potatoes, Onion-Cognac Gravy, and Crispy Onions. We each tasted the others meal, but both preferred our own choice which tells you how fantastic everything is. We both elected for the Chocolate Mousse "Maple Leaf" for dessert and had zero regrets. It was an absolutely amazing meal. Some people might think the service was slow, but we ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed the down time. We’re usually so rushed at Disney, it was nice to take a break and breathe while sipping a nice Pinot Noir.

(Last visited 1/19/2022.) Hanging out in Disney World for a few days and we have to eat right?! Well, today we're at Epcot and as a part of the "Drink Around The World" excitement there's this restaurant in Canada's section and it's a steakhouse! I wonder how good a steakhouse at Epcot could be! I'm going to tell you now! Atmosphere/Appearance: So set back off of the beaten path and hidden is this gem. Reservations are REQUIRED and make sure you make them early. This place was packed and super busy. It was really big, but the ceilings felt a little low. It also felt like a log cabin up in the mountains of Canada somewhere and I think it was excellently decorated. I have never been to a cabin like this, but the place certainly looked like the ones in the movies! Lol. Service: Cory took excellent care of us despite how busy it was. She was quick, patient, friendly and represented the most magical place on Earth very well! Food: For an appetizer we tried the roasted Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. They had a perfectly crispy exterior and were cooked very well. They were decently seasoned and not too salty. For my entrée I went with the New York Strip cooked medium-rare. On the side came with a risotto, some roasted tomatoes, crispy onion strips and a steak sauce. Now, the steak felt like a small portion compared to the price. However, it was delightful. It was cooked well, seasoned well and the sauce went with it perfectly. I really enjoyed it and because the portion was small (load up on the complimentary breads) I savored my dinner a bit more! Value: 1: This is Disney World, you didn't come here in an effort to save money. 2: This is a steakhouse. Lol. One of the cheaper wines on the menu was $55.00, but it was excellent, we had the Trimbach Pinot Gris 2015 Reserve. My entrée was $52.00. Like I practically mentioned, it's quality over quantity here and rightfully so! In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself here. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and it was just the perfect way to end the day! If you made it this far in the review, I appreciate you reading. Please do me a favor and head on over to "The Hungry Road" on YouTube and subscribe! My channel features a lot of food, car and exclusive shoe related content! Help me grow! Thank you so much!
Be the first to ReplyA Very Disappointing Meal
On our annual trip to Disney in December, we always book a reservation for LeCellier. Unfortunately after tonight’s experience, it will be our last time back. For me, I ordered strip steak cooked medium. Steak was good and cooked correctly. The side, creamed spinach was terrible - too much cheese. Server aside it was creamed but did not mention cheese. For my wife, she ordered filet mignon ($62), ordered well done. Server suggested butterflying. After cutting into the filet, she noticed it was rare, not well done. Server took the filet back. When it came back, the filet was cut up into pieces, on top of a fresh serving of mashed potatoes. Not to be sarcastic but the filet was in small pieces as I assume the cook cut it up - it looked like a dog chewed it on top of a fresh pile of mash potatoes. My wife mentioned this to the server in which she asked if she wanted a new filet (which should have been automatic), my wife was so disappointed that she declined a fresh filet and told the server to just take the filet away. The server mentioned she would tell this to the manager to take the filet off of the bill which she did but I thought it was strange that a manager did not come over to the table to speak with us. Disappointing. I asked for our check, declined desert, paid the bill and left.

After all the ballyhoo about Le Cellier online and on the Disney Food Blog, we finally dined there last week. The Boss's steak was just 'ok.' I had some pasta that, for a pasta-lover, was a "C" at best. Our server, however, was fantastic. She was very helpful and went above and beyond serving us. Beer selection somewhat limited. For the price, we will not be back. It was a prefix menu (to secure tickets for a concert event at Epcot) I should add. But that did not take away that the meal was barely 'OK.' Ruby's steakhouses in Cincinnati are MUCH better.
