L’Aygo le restaurant sur l’eau Gelos Reviews from The Last Year
Too expensive for little quantity!
Disappointed with the portions; I took a la carte and the chicken tournedos was dry and absolutely not of the day; it was just reheated; really a shame
Minimalism
A pretty setting that almost makes you forget the small portions on the plates. A meal of appetizers certainly well cooked at a normal price... too bad It’s also a shame not to be able to pay the bill with bimpli cards.
Too expensive for these quantities!
Beautiful setting, beautiful homemade products...but a lot of waiting (Sunday) and much too expensive for the little we ate...really.
Too bad because the setting is nice…
Welcome and correct service, unfortunately overcooked dishes, a terikayi sauce without teriyaki…. Very very disappointed I do not recommend
To flee
Lost waitress, cold dish, we see that the products were frozen, tiny quantity, and no flavor. And finally we put on the air conditioning even though it was 4 degrees outside so we had to eat with our coats on.
TB but...
Very warm welcome from the smiling waitress who likes to joke, especially since we were a little messy with the order. Millefeuille of duck confit and foie gras with good Saint Marcellin. Kidney casseroles appreciated. Good Japanese tuna tartare. The roast lamb shoulder confit is excellent, only the accompaniment, the baked bean tartare, did not find its audience on the 5 plates ordered, because its consistency was confusingly too pasty. I will not judge the wine sauce red because not requested so as not to distort the meat. Chipirons stuffed with Duxelle oyster mushrooms and good parsley. On the other hand, it is a shame that at the end of the meal there are only 2 desserts out of the 6 offered on the menu. The least is that payment by check was very complicated to accept, but my advice is to note on the site this state of affairs on payment by credit card only or certainly cash, we then accept in any case to restore it or not. €304 at 7.
Never disappointed!
I have been to this restaurant 3 times now. Everything has always been perfect: staff, service, quality products with good value for money. Never disappointed when I go there! Today they shone with their professionalism: a broken oven, no chef and yet always impeccable service, a bit of a wait but acceptable given the full room, and after all, it's Sunday! Plus, the view is great, we don’t feel like we’re in Pau. I recommend the Aygo with your eyes closed! Thank you again and most certainly see you soon.
SOS
We are live, in full sun, non-adjustable parasol, waitress or room manager?, answers us, you asked for the terrace, right? Magical answer… nothing to add. First and last for me. 'I put 1 because the starter is correct, the main course is still waiting to be seen!!!!' You can always answer whatever you want.... No corrections in this store.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
