L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon دبي Reviews from The Last Year
It’s hard to do better in Dubai!
How can this restaurant not be in the top 10 in Dubai, just leave a comment and it goes up! It's easy ! I love the business lunch, it’s a must-discovery! Thank you for the meal
Good business lunch in Dubai.
Excellent service and beautiful food presented well. Good value for money business lunch. The restaurant is in a good location to explore galleries and pretty outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy!
In decline
Been a while since I’ve eaten in L’Atelier. Decided to swing by to try some dishes on the menu I’ve not tried yet. Did a four-course meal and I must say that the experience was disappointing: especially after L’Atelier’s temporary closure for renovation & supposedly quality-of-life improvements. Sea bream carpaccio was, to say the very least, completely lost in the combination of flavours. The lime juice and dressing were applied so liberally to the point where the taste of carpaccio completely fell out of balance. The amount of citrus was actually in excess, making the raw sea bream’s texture seize up a lot and tasting very firm, arguably stale in the sense of having its freshness masked by the dressing and citrus. Great idea on paper, poorly executed. Sea bass main course was a literal fall-from-grace. Zucchini-wrapped sea bass cooked sous-vide, sauce choron, two tiny tarts with some sort of tomato mixture, and some other sauce in the middle of the plate. The sea bass is beautiful: thin slices of yellow and green zucchini layered alternatively, holding the sea bass in the shape of a torchon. But if you start to look at the middle and the other side of the plate: the plating style is so bizarrely 1980s- or 1990s-ish, and it really split the dish in two. The tart pastry tasted very stale, and I still can’t make out what’s on top of the tart. Sauce choron was good. The sea bass itself was a huge surprise and disappointment: it was completely un-seasoned. I could not taste any pepper nor salt. There might have been a pinch of salt, but it was so minimal to the point where I would call the sea bass torchon itself “bland”. Now, a dish with each element seasoned perfectly is not necessarily a great dish: the combination can be off, the ingredients themselves might not compliment each other. A dish where the main component, the star of the dish, is severely under-seasoned? It can never be a good dish. Just because you have an outstanding sauce on the side of the plate, it doesn’t justify not seasoning your protein. It is a shame of a dish in two senses: shame for the guest who has to receive a dish like this, and shame on the name of Joël Robuchon for sending out a dish like this from a kitchen bearing his name. Very unfortunately experience.
Fab- u- lous!
From the welcome at the door to the fantastic quality of food. The flavours of each dish on the tasting menu were out of this world. We learned that Robuchon broke taboos as he put meat with fish! The langoustine with foie gras was exquisite, something you would never pair in a course but it was amazing! And the crab dish, and the Scallop were perfectly cooked. Very well deserved Michelin Star! This restaurant is up there with the very best! Merci Mr!
Fine dine
Absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed everything, degustation menu, entree and main course were very succesful. Service was exceptionally good

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
