Great food, even better experience
Sit at the bar! Best seats in the house so you can watch the kitchen staff perform their magic. This was our last night in Paris and L’Atelier capped the perfect evening to a perfect trip. The best was that the chef smiled at us, sent over a few extras and came out of the kitchen to bid us farewell when we were leaving which made the whole experience feel very personal. I regret not asking her to take a picture with us or getting her name. Oh well, maybe on a future trip. Kudos to your restaurant for having a female chef!

Greetings everyone reading this, i’m rating this restaurant as 1-star meaning poor bc of their service for clients. I have been here yesterday, i was confused since i just wanted to visit publicdrugstore, one of their employees stopped me while i was going in to restaurant and said “stop here where are u going”, while i was explaining him, he stopped me again saying “say hello first”, he said its not here dont move from here. Since i just wanted to buy some ciggarates i wasnt dressed well and i guess this is why he stopped me. I was shocked and was a very disappointed. This is not how things work and this is not how restaurants should treat people not by the cloth. Then i explained him that he is wrong that he cant treat people like that, and that i can eat everyday here and my financial condition will not change. Then i told him that i wanna eat here right now and got back answer that u need to reserve a place first. And he wasnt even sorry for what he said at tbe beginning. Im very disappointed from here and dont recommend anyone coming here where DISCRIMINATION and rating people by their look exsits.

Being a restaurateur, I am in the habit when I am in Paris of having fun at the workshop, in fact I am never disappointed except this time, I would like to emphasize this because I was received barely seated at the bar by the manager of room that requires still or sparkling water?? I ask him for the menu and he starts again with the glass of white or red wine? And still no card, I asked for it again...the feeling is unpleasant to have someone who is trying to increase their ticket and charge you as much as possible before even having the card...he confided to me that it was very quiet and had few customers….could there be a connection??
Be the first to ReplyService not up to par!
Good food but not exceptional, what can I say about the service, I was sitting at the bar and the service is done on the opposite side of the bar, I don't agree with it much... the only nice and professional waiter was Mihn, I ordered at the Somellier phenomenon a glass of wine and I didn't pronounce it properly, what he did was mock me with the other waiter, 0 professionalism!! I would like to see them speaking my language!!! In any case, it's not done!! The other waiter served me 2 dishes without even explaining them to me! The Somellier served me the wine by touching the edge of the glass with his hand, very wrong! Service too fast, 3 minutes between courses! I also had a coffee included in the menu and it wasn't even offered to me! Only the name of the great chef Robuchon remains, even if overall the cuisine is good (Italian chefs and cooks in a starred restaurant in Paris hahahaha) Very modern and welcoming place!

Excellence, finesse and taste! The key words of the sublime meal that we had the chance to share and savor. Exceptional products! Superb meal!

A very beautiful place. The staff are charming and attentive. We were seated at saloon level, with a view of the kitchen. The wine list is provided. The menu at €159 in 11 courses is more than sufficient. Great discoveries (including the legendary Robuchon puree). Special mention for the truffle appetizer, the (very) high-end royal sea bream in carpaccio and the langoustine ravioli. My only downside, the head waiter, service (?) a little too talkative, who often criticized the clerks/waiters in a somewhat abrupt manner, and given that everything can be heard and seen in this type of open kitchen, this can somewhat disrupt the timeless experience that we seek when we go to a restaurant of this type. However, I would add the dust on the raised bar in front of us, which I think is much more visible because of the direct lighting on it. However, a beautiful address that I recommend for its intimate side (even in the square), a rather warm atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

We were made very welcome and the service was good. The young girl gave very good advice and knew her menu perfectly. Pleasant and smiling, she has very good contact with customers. The cuisine is excellent, I rediscovered the flavors and aromas of Joël Robuchon's cuisine. It's always impressive to see an entire brigade working in the kitchen with the utmost calm and precision of gestures. I liked my entire menu, sea bream carpaccio, scallops and pork cheek, but I fell in love with the scallops as a starter and the nun for dessert. We had a great time. Well done and thank you to Mr. Rais and his team as well as the entire kitchen.

Eager for a first experience in a starred restaurant founded by the extremely famous Joël Robuchon, cook from my childhood through his show on France 3, knew how to delight my taste buds, in particular with an authentic and generous mash. Despite a culinary delight from starter to dessert, I was offended by the complacency and expeditious nature of the sommelier who did not like to rub shoulders with simple gourmets wanting to experience a unique moment.

We had lunch on January 4 during a short stay with friends. The goal was to enjoy a good meal and that was the case! The menu offered at €49/person gives access to very good dishes expertly executed before our eyes! Everything was delicious and in perfect proportions!! A delicious moment much appreciated! However, be careful with the drinks! If the menu is very affordable, this is not the case for the drinks which can make the amount of the bill skyrocket! (without this being really justified) be careful to avoid surprises! Charming staff for the most part, with one borderline unpleasant condescending individual.

Very innovative selection of dishes in the standard menu. We loved the starters so much that we choose menu with two starters. Portions are just right so you do not feel full until the end. Even the bread was served warm and a delight to eat. Service at the bar was excellent although was surprised that only the sommelier had to take order for the wine when we only wanted a glass of white wine I will certainly frequent this again for lunch

Be the first to ReplyReally really disappointing
Everything was mediocre (waiters and sommelier were polite but still a mundane factory experience) at best. I have lived in Paris for 20 years and I believe this was the worst in terms of food taste even though the dishes I ordered were classics that I always enjoy: fish (can't remember what kind) carpaccio - too much lemon; scallops - rubbery in texture and beef tartare - drowning in some ketchupy capery sauce that drowned out any hint of the meat. As I ordered an aperitif and several wines with the dishes, it also ended up being the most expensive meal I have ever had in Paris. That's what I get for going to a tourist trap. I thought it would be fun though since I had worked at a firm nearby for ten years and never went. There are so many other better bistros in the area and elsewhere in the city. Final nail for me was the fact that my reservation was for 1:30pm, and by the time I left around 3pm, they were already vacuuming and had dumped our coats on a chair even though there were at least four parties still eating. I have never seen that anywhere and is zero class and stars!
Be the first to ReplyDon't go, it's a disaster
IT WAS THE WORST ROBUCHON'S RESTAURANT EVER. The place is very nice, but the atmosphere and food doesn't feel it is a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Talk about atmosphere: keep playing fast music, staff will keep walking pass through your nearby and in front. They will check ur dish finished or not in a very inappropriate way (that actually u can feel they are stearing on ur dish and urging you to eat quickly) For the food: Definitely don't order the signiture menu. It was a disaster. I don't even know what the chef is thinking. I don't expect there is dumplings inside the main dish. I paid nearly 230 EUR doesn't come here for pre-packed dumplings. I came here for the a real french food, not japanese food. Let's talk about the others, such as the mash potatoes, I can eat the butter cubes inside the mash potatoes, which means it doesn't melted at all. I have never see a restaurant will make such mistake, not to mention it is a Michelin 1 star. There are many mismatched ingredients, the chef just putted inside the dish without considering they are match or not. Or whether their taste can be combined or not. Especially both the sweets. I have never try such disaster in sweets. The mango and passion fruit, they taste sweet, but the rum is bitter. So putting two of them into a single dish?! It comes to a very bad result. The fork didn't clean well as well, I can see they didn't clean it well after the putted into the hot water, as there is still a watermark. At the same time the dish didn't clean well before putting in front of the customer. Overall, it didn't worth a star.

Visited with two colleagues, got a last minute reservation and were told we may have to wait but actually got seated earlier and ate at the bar which was great fun as we could watch the chefs doing their work. Food looked fantastic and tasted even better. Great evening out on the Champs Elysees.
Be the first to ReplyBella Food Malo Msrs
Bella Food Malo Msrs Great Food coupled with Mistreatment of Colored Staff... not sure what to do when the Caucasian waiter makes an obvious mistake but then yells at the busboy! This brought down our rating by 2 points Positives • Fantastic house-wine • Well decorated restaurant with glass foozball table which is a nice touch • Well presented food Negatives • Food has heavy presence of cream to give it heftiness even if it doesn’t look like it • Poor service with French Caucasian waiters forgetting service items then yelling at colored support staff • Shop preceding entrance would make you think you were in some ridiculously low-end store not worthy of the name
Be the first to ReplyInteresting and expensive
We got a recommendation and made a reservation. We were a bit early and they seated us right away at the bar as promised. We chose the A La cart smaller portions but were shocked how small the portions were. Tiny, miniature. Our teenage son needed another meal when we left there. Definitely Nouvelle Cuisine - tasty but minimal. Interesting experience but not sure it is worth the exuberant amount they charge.
