Portions are so minuscule!
Portions are so minuscule! Look at the pics - I brought it home and added spring onions - they donโt add spring onions on their own.
They used to be good. But I think it is now run by the second generation and relying on the fame of the stall. I have been eating at this stall for many years. And the standard and quality has been consistently dropping. Now it is the worst. All you get for $5.50 are two/three tiny slices of meat, liver, intestines, tiny meatballs (see pic) and lots and lots of salted vegetables. Surely it cannot be right to give such tiny portions and charge $4.50/$5.50 for it.
Gone are the days when the slices are of bigger cuts and more plentiful. They are giving you the absolute minimum and trying to get away with it.
You will be better off eating at other stalls. This will be the last time that I am going.
Pig Organ Soup Tiong Bahru Food Centre Singapore
A good bowl of soup with very fresh ingredients, lovely with lots of pepper... Do expect to queue especially on a weekend..

Pig Organ Soup!!!!11 So unhealthy but so good. The soup was very kiam because of the preserved vegetables - something that not everyone would appreciate, but I did. I slurped up the entire bowl of soup. & yes, I ordered the $5 portion (you have two options: $4 or $5).
The organs & meat slices were cooked perfectly, & didn't have any funky smell or taste to it. The apparently-handmade meatballs are also pretty good.
I would definitely order this again ๐ As a side note - was delighted to get 50ยข off my meal (with a min spend of $1.50) because I paid by DBS PayLah. #gocashlesswithNETS valid till 31 May 2018
Good Tradition Kept Alive
The soup is the soul of this dish. It is freshly brewed daily from pig bones and mustard vegetables; the soup has the natural tastiness of the bones and a tinge of saltiness from the mustard vegetables. Soup is clear and every spoonful was a delightful taste.

This is by far the best pig organ soup which i have ever tasted in the world.
Situated in a cosy corner of tiong bahru market, the stall serves pig organ soup so nice that it begets belief.
a must try.
