Best taste of El Paso in Vegas
I lived in El Paso years ago and the food was amazing and something I miss. I found this place and it was like going back in time. The best food and service. If you miss the taste of El Paso or Juarez then this is a must try.
Be the first to ReplyBetter than the real tacos!
A family member brought us here since we love Chicoโs Tacos from El Paso. We were not disappointed.! If you are from El Paso and are in the area and want and crave real authentic Mexican food, then this is the place to come. They have good food and great atmosphere that make us think we are back in El Paso. We had the Juarez flautas and famous Elote en Vaso (both I with butter and Mayo), just like in El Paso! The food is so good, I actually think they are better than the original ones.

I heard the flautas were good here so my friend and I made a quick stop here for a quick bite. Walking in, Iโm quickly transcended back to Texas, when I lived in San Antonio, when I used to frequent the little โmom & popโ style restaurants. After ordering, we didnโt wait long for our food, though there was only one other party dining in besides us. We both ordered flautas and fries with a drink. The flautas were good, I think the meat filling was a little dry. The flautas were topped with some crisp shredded lettuce and some crema which is a refreshing contrast with the crunch of the flautas. There is a condiment bar at the front counter with salsas, ketchup and cut limes. A squeeze of lime really brings everything together. The French fries were hot and crispy and crinkle cut, it can bring out the lid in you. Iโm a little upset that I forgot to take pics - something my friend mentioned as she always sees me taking food pics. The service was friendly, food was good, Iโll have to come back and try the other menu offerings. Enjoy! :)

Yes you do have to go here. And yes they do taste like the real thing! Highly recommend to everybody not just if you are from El Paso!!
Be the first to ReplyEl Paso food in Las Vegas
The good: The food is authentic. The chico's tacos like tacos were close to the original. The bad: The bathroom was in poor shape. The neighborhood was a bit shady. Having said that, I'd go back since it's so hard to find El Paso style border Mexican food. Check it out!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious, authentic Tex-Mex and Mexican food!
This place is delicious, offers a wide variety of both Tex-Mex and Mexican food, and is very inexpensive. For those who know of Chico's Tacos in El Paso, they serve rolled tacos in sauce, but with cheddar cheese. They offer the goods that were so delicious in Texas and in the border cities. The owner is there often, and his warm customer service makes it even more worth the trip to this restaurant. There are also pictures on the wall of El Paso and Juarez for those who like to reminisce, as well as all the high school shirts from El Paso schools on the ceiling. This place is nothing near fancy, but it is a MUST TRY for everyone. The food is amazing!
Be the first to ReplyTOTALLY AUTHENTIC EL PASO/JUAREZ BORDER FOOD!
Go fast!!! This is EXCELLENT! I felt as though I was sitting in Juarez/ El Paso. The tacos are delicious - elote (corn with cheese) was fabulous. Taquitos (flautas) - WOW!!! Food was fresh, warm, tasty, perfectly seasoned! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Now - let me warn you - it has absolutely NO atmosphere. It looks like a renovated McDonalds. You go up to the counter and order and sit down at a McD's type table. "Silverware" is plastic. Food comes on a plastic tray on a paper plate or paper french fry type holder. You don't come here for the atmosphere - you come here for the food!!!! Yes, the location is quite seedy - but it's just one block north of the 95 off Eastern. Excellent prices!!! If you are from west Texas/southern NM it will take you back in a heartbeat! To everyone else, you MUST GO HERE to try authentic MEXICAN FOOD!!!!!
