Pure Excellence
This was our second time staying at the Inn at Langley, and won't be the last. We took advantage of a special pricing offer in the off-season and had a great time! The people are super friendly, the complimentary snacks offered in the office are a nice touch, and the breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open for dinner on the nights we were there. Now, on to the room - super clean, very comfy bed, fireplace with logs provided, lovely rustic shower and soaking tub (ahhhhh), and a nice ocean view. We were fortunate to have nice enough weather to sit on the balcony and we saw whales on the last day! We really appreciate the Inn's efforts to reduce use of plastic - the water at the inn is filtered, the beverages in the minibar are in glass containers or cans, and the toiletries are in refillable containers. Langley is a charming town. We had fabulous meals at Saltwater Fish House and Savory in Langley, and drove to Coupeville to eat at Toby's, a favorite spot for mussels. We had beers at Double Bluff Brewing and at Three Crabs Brewing in Clinton, and tasted some lovely wines at Ott & Hunter. We left feeling very relaxed. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Rustic elegance. Stayed in one of the cottages. Very quiet, private, amazing views. Shower and bath were like being at a spa . Fireplace in master was a dream at bedtime. Customer service was great. Everyone friendly and helpful communication. Special shout out to Sheila who helped me choose the room type right for my husband and I. Can’t wait to return!

A friendly and sincere greeting at reception and a spotless and beautifully decorated room with an amazing view. Our room was stocked with everything we could want and the breakfast was excellent. We especially appreciated the emails ahead of our visit with lots of great information for our stay. We were so glad to see that changes had been made to show the concern for the environment.

This is a beautiful place. The people who work here are friendly and go above and beyond. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The setting and location can’t be beat. And, if you want a massage, ask for Karen. She gives one of the best massages I have experienced in many years!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute best small boutique inn on Whidbey Island!
One of the finest, most romantic little inns we have experienced! Exceptional facilities with great service , awesome location, and sumptuous breakfast every morning. The owner even comes around during breakfast to meet and check on the guests. Every room faces the water which provides a very lovely experience.

We spent a really nice weekend at The Inn at Langley celebrating 25 years of marriage. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Just a comfortable, relaxing weekend where all our needs were tended to. We arrived to a bottle of champagne in a very comfortable room with a stellar view. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the breakfast chefs. We will definitely come back again!

This is a great place with a great staff! Room are spacious and all have a patio facing the water with sunrise and sunsets. The dinner was a set menu that was interesting. Breakfast both mornings was great! The town has some interesting shops and art galleries. We also biked to Putney woods and road the trails which was really fun! We'll be back!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Get-Away
The Inn is lovely with beautiful views and friendly and accommodating staff. A perfect get-away spot! The included breakfast was very good. Dinner in the restaurant was very interesting, with some delicious dishes and others that missed the mark a bit but still, kudos for the effort. Langley is a cute little town and worth exploring. Would love to return and will certainly stay at the Inn again.

Emily R gave a fantastic deep tissue that was NOT random like most but spurt targeted and intuitive. Or was amazing which I was not expecting frankly and given the number I have had in my line this was a top 5!!

My boyfriend and I stayed in a waterfront king room for just one night and loved it. From the wonderful comfy bed to the huge bathtub and the incredible ocean views from the balcony... everything here is wonderful, relaxing, and luxurious. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff is friendly and warm. I'm allergic to feather and despite not being notified in advance, housekeeping changed the room out for synthetics at lightning speed. Short walking distance to great restaurants and shopping in Langley. Absolutely recommended, and totally worth the high price tag. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
Be the first to ReplyHotel made it worth trip to Langley….the view!!
Our visit to Langley was better due to this hotel. Our room was a nice size and comfortable. The view was awesome. We had dinner on the patio one night because the view was excellent. The breakfast was limited, but good. And, very convenient to the small town. Note, the towns restaurants are very limited and are very understaffed.
Be the first to ReplySunset from the balcony
The Inn At Langley was pure enjoyment. The oversized balcony with east and west views of the water and Camino Island was delightful to sit on, relaxing, sharing a glass of wine, or sharing a pizza when dinner options seemed limited. The binoculars lent by the Inn we’re fun to have. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, working fireplace with hotel-provided easy lighting logs was a pleasure to use. In room refrigerator stocked with free water and soft drinks, beer and wine for acceptable additional fee. Helpful office staff. Interesting free snacks to grab in lobby. Delicious breakfast included with delicious coffee, although the small menu was unchanged daily. Excellent location for strolling through town. For those who wanted to brave the water or walk on the tidal flats at low tide, access was only steps away. Although we did not travel with a dog, the availability of a doggy bathing station to clean the salt and sand off your dog was quite thoughtful. No a/c but even during the summer heat wave we were quite comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Be the first to ReplyVery pleasant hotel in a peaceful, laid-back town.
The Inn at Langley is a very nice hotel. You can see the care that went into its design, decor, and furnishings. Staff were all delightful, and very helpful. The breakfast menu offers a diversity of dishes; we were pleased with the ones we chose.
Be the first to ReplyHigh-end inn is stylish and modern on Saratoga Passage, but a Langley let down
TripAdvisor classifies the Inn as a 3-star and I think this is accurate given service and amenities, but reputation is more of luxury inn with gourmet food. US News says 3.5. It is a smaller-scale inn with beautiful architecture and buildings, appointments, courtyard / garden, and interesting products and snacks available with B&B style services - no front deck 24X7 etc. Rooms and appointments were lovely, with large decks and fireplaces, but a tad worn for price of $500/night. Bath products are very nice/local, but are large sized with pumps and are shared / e.g. not for taking. Very nice beverages available gratis in mini-bar, as well. No safe for belongings. Breakfast approach was good, they could increase level of service by delivering to room - instead pick-up in restaurant and take to your room to eat on deck or dine in their lovely restaurant. Food and coffee was excellent, OJ was not. Drawback for us, the room did not smell fresh and floor cleaning in bathroom could improve. We bought scented candle in town to try to improve it. Overall was an excellent place to stay on Whidbey, but falls slightly short of the luxury level expected.
Be the first to Reply“Secret” spot off the coast
There are no secrets hidden at this Langley - but for the place itself for those who haven’t discovered it yet. A short ferry ride from the humdrum of Bellevue brought us to this quaint but picturesque island of Whidbey, and to the Inn at Langley. Situated right off the coast, this beautiful place gives a log-wood cabin vibe, and comes with all the luxuries one can ask for. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, and come with with balconies overlooking the waters. The well equipped bath has a sunken tub, shower and toiletries that include make up removers -- such a nice touch!. Our stay got even special with some delicious made-to-order lunch and breakfast. Inn at Langley is a perfect getaway for the city weary... you can walk by the beach, or just sit in your balcony sipping cocktails, watching the high tide flow in, and enjoying a cup of hot pipping coffee as the sun rises over the waters. We did all of these and more during our very memorable but short stay of one night. Thanks to everyone who made our visit special!
Be the first to ReplyGreat views and total experience.
(All) room with great bay view, private balcony. Comfortable room with functional accessories. Direct access to local public beach. Excellent location with access to Langley visitor attractions. The building is airy and rustic. Tasty breakfast in a beautiful room. Friendly staff. One minus: bed was too hard to be comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous views from everyone room!😊
We stayed at the Inn two weeks ago and what a fabulous find! We had a two bedroom suite with an amazing view of the water. We saw so much wildlife in the morning when the tide was low. Bald Eagles, heron, cranes. The room was beautiful every detail well thought out . Loved the furniture on deck and the blankets. The soap and bath salts and lotion was great and can be purchased in the office area. The breakfast was fabulous I wish the restaurant would have been open. The coffee in the room was in tea bag form and was sooo tasty….and you don’t have the waste of the pods. The town is a quick walk from the Inn with shops and restaurants…one problem was many restaurants weren’t open Monday and Tuesday. Great lunch spot isFlower House Cafe ten minutes away also great flower shop with fantastic gifts. Wish the weather would have been warmer but can’t control that!

Can’t say enough about our stay at the Inn at Langley. The room was well appointed. We stayed in a corner room. The view was amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and personable. The snack were unexpected and much appreciated. We even got at text to let us know to grab a few before the office closed. I would highly recommend the Langley. Loved everything about it!
