Horseshoe Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Stayed at the Horseshoe for EDC since it used to be Bally's.
Rooms were comfortable and large. Staff was overall friendly. They dont have many people working the front anymore, it is all machines to check in and out. If you want to request early check in, that will cost you $40. Bathrooms look renovated. Beds were nice and for its purpose, it did its job.
Wonderful Hotel.
Nice hotel, spacious, Maya help me during my check in and was lovely! later when I went to eat at one of the establishments everyone was courteous which is surprising to me with the level of people they interact in the day to day basis I would definitely be exhausted. George helped me during check out and as well as Maya was fenomenal1
Satisfactory
The only thing I didn't like was the towels were rough and scratchy, not soft! And they upgraded me to a sweet which was the last room on the floor and I'm disabled.it was hard for me to walk it. The ice machine was located by the elevator and the soda machine was broken But the room was beautiful
I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by the
I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The faucet, shower head, and shower handle were all visibly filthy, mold growing on the shelves in the shower, which made me question the overall hygiene standards of the Horseshoe. Additionally, there was dust and built-up grime all over the ground, indicating that they hadn't vacuumed properly for a while. Despite the entertainment downstairs being the one plus, I won't be returning due to the unacceptable condition of the room.
Omg terrible check in been in line for 30 min and only 2
Omg terrible check in been in line for 30 min and only 2 people have been helped !!!!!! Not worth the price I should just stayed at circus or sphere . Shorty price but the check in was better
I very much enjoyed staying at the horseshoe.
Other than the pool being closed and the high limit room being remodeled, location wise it was perfect. Just check for availability on their options is the only heads up. Being connected to Paris is also a plus.
This employee could have ruined my stay if i would have let it
stayed there late April to early May. The location was good and it didn't take long to navigate your way casino. I bought some expensive food at a nearby restaurant and was unable to eat it all. Later I went to heat it up but observed there were no microwaves in the room. None in the vending area, none of the restaurants, anywhere apparently. I went up to the front desk to ask for a microwave location. The young man (name started with an A perhaps Artie or something) response was kind of rude. I asked another time why there was not any microwaves in the hotel. He became even more rude telling me he already answered me everything he was going to answer to me with a sharp tone and started looking toward the line...basically telling me to leave. I was never rude, never was angry nor raised my voice or even showed any emotion. This guy was just a jerk, perhaps had an issue at home. I asked for a manager. He rudely said he was not going to get one. I decided he wasn't worth it and I left. It won't be hard for him to not remember me. I was with a cane and could barely walk. This man I feel hard to come out of this incident without thinking this man should never be in a position to deal with the public. Otherwise it was a nice stay.
Spent 10 minutes at Express Check In Kiosk.
Went through everything, and at end said I had to see agent. I get in line. ONE HOUR I spent in line--they had ONLY TWO agents working the "common people" and 8-10 empty stations. This is at 7-8 pm!!! We missed our dinner reservations and was a horrible start to my wife's birthday! Maybe they should take some of their $50 a night "resort fee" and hire some front desk people!! I'll never stay here again!!
A very impersonal hotel
Very impersonal hotel. Nothing fancy. More like a 1950s Holiday inn. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anybody. From check in with a long long line to the checkout procedure it's been a pain in the rear end. I will certainly not be back
Terrible experience. Room was filthy. Dirty sock was on the floor when I checked in. Ice bucket and bathrm floor sticky.
Terrible experience. Room was filthy. Dirty sock was on the floor when I checked in. Ice bucket and bathrm floor sticky. Bathroom cabinets were dusty. Phone was broken & didn’t work. Reported it twice. No one came to fix it. Had to use my cell phone to call front desk. The worst thing is the pillow had perfume on it - which makes me think the sheets were not changed. Really gross. Don’t waste your money!!!
Horse shoe nice location
Clean room nice view I wish u have Starbucks security are amazing very helpful finding my cell phone . Only thing is u still holding one deposit of $50 . I didn't understand why I have three days in separate reservation . Food is ok machines ok even I lost
Casino
Stopped in to see what was happening here. Loved the vibe here. Was hoping for a huge win didn't happen but I still enjoyed myself. Clean and comfortable casino. I'd visit again when I visit vegas. Tons of shops inside. The shop owners were very nice.
Room was not up to standard.
Dirty walls and outlets not working. Stand up shower only that had doors that when opened hit the entry door. Asked for a room switch and was told sorry all sold out, which I don't believe for one second. Avoid.
They entered our room even though we had left the sign DO
They entered our room even though we had left the sign DO NOT TO at the door. So then, a casino ticket that was on top of the table went missing. Definitely not a good experience, we didn't want people organizing our stuff. And yet they did. They didn't take any responsibility for, even if you leave a sign don't disturb, it's not guaranteed they won't enter your room. Horrible experience. Updating: They send me a letter that they won't take any responsibility for what happened. Unbelievable.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Horseshoe and would stay
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Horseshoe and would stay again. It's not the most elite and has some obvious issues but the value is great for the location and room size. We arrived pretty early and weren't able to check in so we dropped our bags off and explored the strip. The front desk is pretty much self serve with the exception of maybe one staff member floating around here and there. I was able to check in on my phone while we were put and about and opted for the bellagio fountain view upgrade for about $23/night. The view was decent, but the unfortunate part was the old Bally's building which looks absolutely terrible obstructed some of the fountain view. The room was huge and having an empty fridge we could actually use was great. The bathroom fixtures needed some painting but overall, the room was nice. The location is fantastic, it truly is midstrip and close to all the things. It's big, but smaller than other hotels. We went to a magic show at the hotel and didn't have to walk 6780 miles to get to the theatre. The elevators are really the only inconvenience I felt during my stay. They were extremely slow, stopped at every floor and there was one elevator that was down during the duration of my visit.
We had a wonderful time; however, the hallways needed
We had a wonderful time; however, the hallways needed vacuumed, almost every evening when we returned to our room. We had a cabana that needed dusted and swept, because of the recent windy days, lots of leaves. In the morning, the elevator walls were smeared with I don't want to know.
My wife and I were completely lost after self parking on
My wife and I were completely lost after self parking on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. I had my ankle replaced and am in a walking boot. We obviously missed a turn in the casino and ended up at the Paris hotel. Asking employees at 3 different boutique's I got 1 "I don't know " and 2 other people sending us the wrong direction. We finally backtracked to the elevator and saw a small sign that said Horseshoe with an arrow. All I can say is, when we finally found the registration there were a line of people before us and I couldn't stand much longer on one foot. There were some self check in kiosks that we decided to try. They were a little bit confusing and I asked a young lady if she worked for Horseshoe because we had a few questions about how to check in. Her name tag said "MICHELLE" and "WAS VERY HELPFUL"! She walked us through the whole process! I had already mentioned to my wife let's go to a different hotel. WOW, MICHELLE sure turned our attitudes around! Our room is clean and has a great view of the Sphere and a giant Ferris wheel! Thank you Michelle YOU saved the day and all 5 stars are for YOU! Thanks!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!
I’m only giving a review because they asked me to, all I can say is never again! We booked a package deal through Ceasers and paid $1054.00 at time of booking, resort fees to be paid at the hotel, understood. By the end off the trip, which ended up being a one night stay, I was charged an additional $1289.30!! and nobody can explain. Trust me this ain’t over!
Worst experience in vegas yet, if it wasn't for my wedding it would have been a horrible experience in las vegas
The upgraded room sounded like the was no glass on the patio, you could hear every sound outside, 10-15 min wait for the elevator which only 3 of 8 work. A/C only worked part time, room was dirty, Would not recommend staying here
Robbed by Hotel employees
Robbed 949062447 Robbed by Hotel Employees Horseshoe Las Vegas April 2024 Stayed at the Horseshoe 04/14/24-04/19/24 This Hotel hires criminals. We were the victims of Housekeeping theft! We told the front desk we did not want housekeeping during our stay. We were told to use the do not disturb sign which we did. Unfortunately our room was entered twice by housekeeping regardless of the do not disturb sign on the door. How do I know this? When we left our room, we locked the room safe, you create a pin number and use it to open the safe and then after shutting the door to lock it. The safe was opened when we were out, the door remained open because whoever opened it (housekeeping) did not know the pin number in order to shut and lock it. I found out on You Tube these safes can be opened by following a certain process, regardless of what security says. The room was entered twice by housekeeping and the safe was opened, the first time a small amount of money was taken; probably a test to see if we would report it to security or not which we did not this time because honestly we did not put two and two together until after the incident. The second time a large amount of cash was taken, but not all. I went to the front desk to ask for the manager, she did not actually come and talk to me, she told me a security person will come talk to me as she was passing by me, as if she was even concerned! The security person told me they have no cameras in the halls, but they could tell us if housekeeping used a master key to enter our room, security had to know you can open these safes by simply watching You Tube, I found this out too late! This theft was an inside job by hotel personnel!! I filled out a report and filed it with security. The security person told me they will look into it and get back to me this did not happen before we had to check out the following morning or within a day or two afterwards. FYI!!!!! if you stay at the Horseshoe Hotel, never use the safe no matter what the website says. Take your money and valuables with you! This Hotel needs to hire honest people, not crooks!!!!!!!! The Hotel followed up with a letter only to apologize for the inconvenience. They did not say they investigated the incident, basically they just pushed it under the rug with no retribution on the housekeeper who stole the money.
