Stopped here for lunch with the family.
Great service, great food and a nice atmosphere. It's a little on the pricey side but we knew that going in. We had the baked cod, a California role, fish and chips, and a burger.

Had an incredible meal here! Wow, the apps and the Wellington were absolutely incredible! Best of all though, was the service. Lydia was the best server I've ever had in a restaurant! Absolutely top notch!
Be the first to ReplyFood is on par.
If you are in the area, don't have high hopes, nothing spectacular. The service is absolutely bad. The host is always with a rather unfriendly face and the waiter are pretty rude during my entire experience. It also took them 45 minutes to prepare a steamed sea bream. Not recommend in general, take your money elsewhere
Be the first to ReplyVisit started with a hostess that had an attitude.
Plenty of seating in main dining room but said our table was assigned upstairs in a dining room with far less ambiance than downstairs. I asked to be seated downstairs and she begrudgingly ended up obliging. The service was very slow and dry in a restaurant that wasn't full. The appetizers were just ok, the beef Wellington and fish entree were excellent. Overpriced in my opinion and overall experience was poor for a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.

This was on my must try list when we booked our vacation to London. I've always wanted to try the famous beef Wellington and the sticky toffee pudding. We arrived about 20min ahead of our reservation and really appreciated it that they sat us down right away. (Not like a lot of restaurants in SF and Seattle, that make you wait until your reservation time. We're not locals, we're on vacation and sometimes we overestimate the amount of time for an attraction. If the table is available, why can't we be seated?)We got the beef Wellington, fried calamari, and sticky toffee pudding.Beef Wellington - a little underwhelming considering all the hype. I've tried to make beef Wellington before and it's so hard to get the bottom not soggy. So I can appreciate how the whole pastry was still crunchy while the beef inside was juicy. I thought that was amazing. I think there was just too much of the mushroom layer going on. The mash potatoes were so good.Fried calamari - really good. Fried perfectly and it had just the right level of spicinessSticky toffee pudding - didn't really like this. Too sweet but the texture is weird. Very spongy. It didn't wow me like I thought it would but at least I can now say I've been to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.

Ramsey restaurant so had to try it and we were not disappointed- well, only in the Mac and cheese which my friends said was bland and lacked much flavor. But everything else was delish! We had the marinated olives and Padron peppers (think shishito peppers but with a smokier flavor) which were both tasty and good sized to share. My friends both got the burgers and I had slow roasted pork belly which was salty, a little fatty, with some delicious meat in between -- just the way I like it! The apple sauce that came with it paired nicely. Cabernet Sauvignon went nicely with it as well but the espresso martini and mai tais were fantastic as well. The crisps that came with the burgers are easily shareable. We sat outside and it was scenic but not overly loud or crowded as you are kind of tucked away in side streets. The sorbet for dessert was a nice touch - nothing fancy- but good.

Our server Kacper was absolutely phenomenal and extremely attentive. Thank you!!
Be the first to ReplyWe visited this restaurant for two birthday celebrations
We visited this restaurant for two birthday celebrations and the ambiance was fabulous. The restaurant, tables and the bar area was elegantly appointed. The service was a bit on the slow side, but that seemed to be the norm throughout Europe. The food, however, was not good, and especially for a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. One dish we had was the Baked Spinach Ricotta Cannoli, the edges were more burnt then we expected. Now we have had similar menu items in other restaurants and expect some Italian baked dishes to have crispy edges but these were definitely burnt. The Celeriac Steak was more on the mushy side and did not seem a cohesive plate. The cocktails made up for what the food lacked. Overall, I'd skip main dishes and stick with drinks and appetizers!

Service = zero, Food = zero, Ambiance = zero. We made a reservation prior just in case they might be packed. When we arrived to the restaurant, the hostess was not friendly. We asked for a booth outside that seats for 2 people and she said" No", it's for 3 to 4 people. We had to repeat it again then she was upset and walked outside to check and saw that there was a booth available for 2 people then she came in and said okay but was not happy about it. Next our food, we ordered some starters and they arrived. However, NO utensils. We asked our waiter and he walked away and said to enjoy. Ummmmmm are we suppose to eat Cesar salad and prawn salad with our hands????? We've tried Gordon Ramsays restaurant in Mayfair it was wonderful! This place, the staff just doesn't give a damn. Do you see any utensils.? Let me add more to this. The hostess told us that we couldn't get the booth outside because it's for 3 or more? Guess what? 2 people are sitting in a booth for 3 or more people. Absolutely rude! Your staff are racist to Asians. Especially the hostess with dyed half white and half black hair. Gordon Ramsey, you should be embarrassed to have employees that are racist!

Delicious meal with a strip steak while my wife has Sunday roast. The seasoning was on point but the highlight was the silky smooth mashed potatoes - seated outside on the patio and enjoyed our meal with the sounds of the city surrounding us. Great experience!

Very disappointing! I could imagine Chef Ramsay sampling the dishes we had and sending them back to the kitchen. My partner had a ribeye steak that was fatty and over cooked, I had the celeriac steak that was bland and smothered in a gravy that tasted like it was prepared with onion soup mix.I would not recommend this restaurant and I will never be returning.
Be the first to ReplyAfter having a poor experience at another GR restaurant
After having a poor experience at another GR restaurant earlier this week (Bar and Grille), a GM from his team reached out and offered my fiance and I a very generous voucher to try any of their other restaurants in London. We settled on the Heddon Street Kitchen because we wanted to try out the Beef Wellington after seeing it featured on Hell's Kitchen for so many years. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We were still trying to eat after knowing full well we were full! We're definitely coming back here the next time we visit London!

I'm a lifelong Gordon Ramsey fan and was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the waitress made our experience so awful that we weren't even able to enjoy ourselves. It's a shame that such a phenomenal chef would have someone like that on their staff, I'm sure we're not the only ones who she has treated so poorly. Amazing food, terrible waitress.

Ok, so having written up the review I forgot to do from last May...now...We went 2 weeks ago...I had booked for a late lunch but rang because we had finished shopping - can we come earlier...no problem. ย So good startA little bubbles as a treat while we went through the menu. ย Great service, attentive as before. ย I revisited the burger, my partner went for the duck salad (is it as good or better than the Ivy in the Park's version?...well I will be back to try it that's for sure, as she thought it was excellent). ย A glass of rouge for me and blanc for her, a little sorbet, espressos and a very nice, slow paced, unrushed mealCost incl service ยฃ120...but take away the booze and it was ยฃ60, service ยฃ15...thus food was ยฃ45 and well worth itIt was pretty full too but that was not an issue; they had the staff to cope...and that is very refreshing these days, franklyWe will return
Be the first to ReplyLovely location off Regent St near the shrine to Ziggy .
Food very good and service great although I think we had a new waiter . Prices high but I'd recommend if you don't mind paying . It's a quiet hip location away from the noisy traffic of Regent St. A must for Bowie fans !!
Be the first to ReplyTucked away in an almost nondescript part of Regent Street,
Tucked away in an almost nondescript part of Regent Street, this is just one of many nice restaurants in the area. It's, literally, surrounded by them. Fortunately, all of the restaurants here have their own unique flair, so it shouldn't be too hard to choose which one you want to try first; just ask your gut what it's hankering for.Having dined in most of the others, I can say from experience that this is one of the nicer ones. It has a secluded enough patio that it doesn't feel like it's in the way of foot traffic like some of the others, the interior is spacious and swanky, and- while pricey- the food and drinks are pretty top-notch. If you're coming during the week, chances are you won't need a booking, as walk-ins are more than welcome and it isn't too busy on a workday. During the weekend, however, it might be a different story. The menu is as grand as it gets without being overwhelming. Whether you're craving seafood or steak, they've got you covered. As always, I have to say a few words about the boozy portion of the menu: Cocktails. Delicous. Get them.Moving on. Given that I'm not really a seafood person, (at all), and didn't want to shell out ยฃ40+ on a rump steak I wasn't sure I'd like, I had to go for the next-safest option and try the burger. While not quite worth the almost ยฃ20 it cost, as it was a bit on the tougher side, I could tell that the meat was pretty high-quality, the Sriracha Mayo gave it just enough of a kick to make it "better-than-your-average-burger," and those fries were to die for. I just wish they'd include something a little more gourmet than jarred ketchup to dip them in. One of this spots biggest selling points is the great service and upscale ambiance. Perfect for when you want to impress someone, and don't mind paying for it.

We came here during a trip to London because it is one of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants and we wanted to try the beed Wellington! As a citizen from the US, I was felt like the service was mediocre at best. However this could just be the way the wait staff are in Europe. Despite this, the waiter we had was kind. I also find it odd paying for water, especially when it is room temperature and comes in a bottle and I am given a cup but no ice. I asked for ice. As an American I also am not used to paying for bread and butter. Despite the cost, the bread and butter here were exceptional and a good start to the meal. The food here was very interesting and I would have to say pretty good. Beef Wellington for the first time was odd and a new flavor, but was cooked at the right level that we liked and the pastry crust was good. The food here did not disappoint. In terms of drinks, this place has a good selection of mixed drinks that all look and sound very good. I opted for a berry boost and my girlfriend had a le frand fizz drink. Both were very good and very tasty with our meal. This is was pretty nice place when we went and the location is even better. There were reservations available unlike the other restaurants we tried and I felt we had a good experience here.
Be the first to Reply*visited pre-covid19: Summer 2019*Wow wow wow.
Delicious! Second time eating at a GR restaurant. Chose this one as we didn't plan out our trip details nor make reservations. We came for lunch and did not have to wait for a table! Loved every dish that we ordered, and surprisingly, the fish and chips is probably the best I've ever had. Even though only one piece of fish, it is a HUGE one. Fried with just the right amount of batter and also tasted fresh! (Both the frying and the fish taste.)We also got the rib eye steak and fillet steak. Obviously, I enjoyed the fillet steak more. Both were done to medium rare, just the way I like it. Very tender, juicy, and flavourful steaks. The only critique that I have: plating could have been a bit more impressive. I also loved the open kitchen in this restaurant! I love watching people work in the kitchen (not as dramatic as Hell's kitchen, but a pleasant watch.) Still dreaming of the day where I'm invited to Hell's Kitchen and/or finding Gordon Ramsay at one of his restaurants!

Pretty packed on a Thursday night but we were seated upstairs and there were quite a few open tables. Great service. Beautiful restaurant. Loud, dark and hip ambiance. Kid friendly (kids eat free including ice cream with a huge sprinkles and topping section, lots of dairy free options).A whole vegan plant-based menu! I had the vegetarian mushroom pasta which was amazing. The meat eaters of course had the beef Wellington and loved it (45 minute wait per the waiter/menu, but we waited a bit over an hour). We had some sort of pineapple kiwi passion fruit dessert which was great.I loved everything about this place. I'd definitely come back.

Was so excited to try one of Ramsey's famous restaurants but was shockingly disappointed and not at all satisfied with this restaurant. The menu was honestly quite small and none of the food was as a good as i was expecting everything was okay but nothing stood out as being amazing. The service was not good. I had to ask multiple times for my water to be refilled and the only part of the meal i enjoyed was the ice cream for dessert. However the wine was very good but overall the meal was overpriced for what it was.
