Not sure if happy hour still exists here (it used to be the best experience), but I highly recommend sitting at the high top tables if you can. Bar seating and high top tables are first come, first served. Service is just as good in this section, if not better. You can guarantee a good view for you and your guests. The oysters are still lovely - good variety and quality. Tuna tartare and the fish dishes are other favorites. Prices are steep but you're paying for the full experience. We have seen Bucks players or owners every time we visit. Bartolotta rewards program is great.

Solid cocktails- beautiful ambiance. Oysters are so fresh and delicious- so many great choices on the menu!! Risotto is a favorite.

Went for brunch on Sunday. Did not realize they only served brunch on Sunday. It was three courses a starter, entree and dessert We ordered eggs Benedict with spinach it was pricey… $48 but delicious. Hollandaise homemade, eggs perfect the avocado and lobster toast starter was also delicious The dessert was excellent chocolate mousse cake Wonderful for a special occasion or to impress your guest

I had an excellent time here last night! We went for a birthday celebration and it was just wonderful. The hostess directed us to the bar while we waited for a table, where we had the loveliest bartender. She explained the drinks and made us some excellent selections. The whole restaurant looks out onto Lake Michigan and the large windows guarantee a good view no matter the seat. It was wonderful to watch the sun set over the lake and see the art museum light up as we snacked on warm bread and cold butter. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they even greeted us with a card for my birthday. The tuna tartare was excellent. Simple and clean flavors with fresh tuna and lots of different textures. My clam chowder was delicious with large pieces of clam and a great smack of bacon. I did get a little sand/grit which was a bummer but it didn't detract much. The grilled branzino was perfection. Salty and crispy skin with flaky fish-- the sauce went completely untouched. The broccolini was garlicky and lemony. For dessert we got a lovely birthday dessert of a salted caramel pot de creme as well as an ordered dessert of carrot cake. Both were mouth watering. From start to finish my meal was excellent. My hubs had a few criticisms, namely that his seafood chowder/bisque had an unappetizing aftertaste that made him not want to finish it and that both his steak and scallops, while the correct temp, needed more sear. They were both a little soft on the outside, which I agreed with. If only he'd had my meal! Overall I had a lovely evening and would certainly go back. The hubs was less enthusiastic but still said he would certainly return for the tartare and the desserts. Wonderful night!

Excellent seafood, and very personal service. Make sure you get reservations, the place was packed, but we only had to wait a few minutes for our table. Pet peeve: This is a fine dining restaurant, seeing people in ball caps, slippers, tshirts, takes away from the experience. (I know, it’s a Milwaukee thing. But I’d like to see a dress code sometime.)
The staff here is the best.
We took a pit stop at the bar and asked for wine recommendations. Ashley found us the PERFECT bottle of wine, domaine de Beauregard. Diana started us off so warmly, I felt like I was coming home. She listened to our wants and needs and blew our expectations out of the water. Caleb was so attentive and personable while helping us and gave us a seamless experience. Honor mentions: Evan, he was so hospitable when checking in on our table. Augie was so knowledgeable when we asked questions when he dropped off our food. Overall your experience was 1000/10. We couldn't of asked for a better night at Harbor House.

Had a business dinner at one of coldest days in 2024, however this place is packed. BTW, valet parking is available for a fee. The view facing the harbor was great. Really enjoyed the oysters, fresh and tender. Crispy Pork belly was crispy for sure but a bit dry instead of moist inside. Order salmon for my entrée. Really liked the flavor and all the toppings. It was an awesome mixed texture with fired Brussel sprouts, cranberries, and mushrooms. I could take a more rare to medium salmon instead of medium to well done. Overall I liked it and might order next time too. Services were impeccable.

I definitely will be back. Had the filet mignon and a wedge salad that were both prepared perfectly.

We used to love coming here for the Sunday brunch buffet pre-Covid and have gone twice now after the post-pandemic change from a buffet to a fixed multi-course menu. I desperately miss the selection of the buffet (not to mention the build your own Bloody Mary bar), but this new format is understandable. It's good, just not "blow my socks off" good. Both times I went, I started with a Bloody Mary and my husband had an Old Fashioned, which we was pleased was made with Buffalo Trace. For my meal, I opted to go with the "up-charged" snow crab legs to start, followed by the prime rib and then finally the butter cake. Everything was delicious, it just wasn't outstanding or something unique that I couldn't get somewhere else. Service here is always 10/10 - and the ambiance/view can't be beat. It's a great special occasion restaurant, but the brunch, which used to be a standout, no longer is.
Lets start with the good, service was excellent.
Now the bad, tenderloin steak looked like it was heavily pounded with a tenderizing tool, and was still tough. Onto the lobster cioppino, 1/2 if a 3 oz. tail (3 rubbery bites) and a small claw (1 bite), 3 large shrimp but rubbery, not tender at all. A few mussels, a strange couple chunks of some dense dry not flakey at all pressed fish. We werent in the mood for a confrontation or argument., so we ate what we could, paid, and left, probably to never return. BTW we have had tenderloin filets, and cioppino from other (non Bartolatta) restaurants that were outstandingly great and memorable.

Excellent food and service (Alex). Even when full we were well attended. Party of 9, each with different drinks, entrees. All satisfied. Be wonderful to sit outside in mild weather.
A gorgeously appointed restaurant with a prime location
A gorgeously appointed restaurant with a prime location right on lake Michigan with beautiful views. The food was exceptional, and we had 2 servers tag team our table to ensure we always had what we needed. The classic caviar appetizer was fantastic - served with the perfect accompaniments and crackers to enhance, not mask, the flavor. The clam chowder was definitely homemade, and the branzino was cooked to perfection with a delicious chipotle romanesco sauce that gave it the perfect amount of zest. We shared the chocolate hazelnut tarte and wished we had room for another - it was SO good!
Mediocre at Best
We picked the Harbor House to spend our Anniversary this year. Unfortunately, the service was very, very poor. For the price of dinner ($250 without tip) service should've been top notch. We were greeted warmly and given a note at our table that said "Happy Anniversary". After that it was all downhill. We spent 90+ minutes and our water glasses were never refilled. This is just a basic thing. Bartolotta is a name out there that people relate to a high class dining experience but that is not what we had. We ordered drinks and finished them pretty quickly. Our empty glasses sat on the side of the table for a good 30 minutes before they were cleared and were asked if we wanted another drink. My husbands steak which was ordered medium rare came out medium well. We showed the #1 waitress and she did offer a new steak but an overcooked steak at this sort of establishment is unacceptable. We finished out meals and waited another 30 minutes before waitress #2 finally came with the check. The steak was not taken off or even discounted. No manger addressed this issue. We were given a complimentary piece of pie. For $64 the steak should've been perfect. For a bill of $250 the service should've been out of this world. Super disappointed.
Harbor House is the real deal
Some restaurants have a great view, some good food, and others a well trained staff; Harbor House has it all. When dining at a Bartolotta restaurant, you come to know you’re in for a top notch experience. Harbor House is no exception. Awesome location with spectacular views of downtown Milwaukee, Excellent seafood centric menu with a nicely curated wine list to complement your selection. Daily specials, surf and turf combos, and fresh oysters. We went for a joint birthday and anniversary dinner, which was both acknowledged by the restaurant and provided a very memorable night. Well done Harbor House!
Fantastic food with a fantastic view
Everything was delicious, from the drinks, to the tuna tartare, but the rainbow trout stands above the rest. This is a definite recommend.
A stellar dining experience
Ate at the Harbor House restaurant tonight and had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in years. We were welcomed and given just a few minutes to wait until our planned reservation when we were seated promptly. Great table with a water view. We were lucky enough to have a waiter by the name of Alex who proceeded to take such exemplary care of us as to create a memorable evening all around. Great seafood options that were explained thoroughly and both of us ended up ordering something other than what we intended to at the start based on the guidance of our waiter. The food exceeded all of our expectations as did the service and the staff. The restaurant location is gorgeous right on the shores of lake Michigan and next to the art museum of Milwaukee. If you plan on visiting I'd make reservations well in advance and it will be an experience to be remembered.
Best Server Ever!
Fantastic dining experience in a beautiful restaurant with the best wait staff ever. From the moment we were seated Alex and Wilbur were attentive without being intrusive, gave great advice on menu items and were able to accommodate substitutions to meet our requests and preferences. Tried some new things to eat and enjoyed them all. Topped off our meal with strawberry shortcake and the best carrot cake we’ve ever tasted. So enjoyed talking to Alex and getting some wonderful tips on other things to do in Milwaukee. My only regret is that we will not be in town long enough to eat here again and have Alex and Wilbur take care of us!

Beautiful water views, amazing food, very attentive staff....what more could you ask for? We enjoyed oysters, crab fra diavolo, filet mignon, and trout, all were excellent!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
How to delete listing?
Hi I uploaded a reservation but no one has taken it. I would like to delete the listing so that I don’t get charged the no show reservation fee. And also delete the listing how can I do that?

Has anyone found a way to get a question answered? From what I can tell there is no way to get in touch with anyone that works at/for AT. Other than the occasional admin posting a consultation offer here and there they are non existent. A lot of people have the same issue I have where we cannot cash out earnings. I cannot get my warning medal removed even though I am under the threshold. Sad to say but seems like AT is holding up everyone’s funds currently. Very scary and makes me wonder….Please reply if you read this admins and can help. Tried every way possible to get in touch

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I have a prepaid reservation, but I'm allowed to transfer that reservation to others for a price that I set (up to the total price I paid).
For selling POSTPAID reservations, do I charge the buyer the full amount of the reservation when transferring? And then the buyer pays something on top of that (which is what is listed in the AppointmentTrader listing?)
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!
