Excellent yakitory place! The fare is fresh and service is excellent. We had reservations on a Sunday evening at 6 pm and they sat us right away. We were a party of 6. We ordered all the signature dishes, tonkatsu combo & sukiyaki combo. Both were excellent. My favorite dishes were Takoyaki, jalapeño yellow tail, chicken yakitori and their lychee soda (tastes like bubble gum). The place was pretty full. We will be back for sure!

Recommend sitting at the bar area if you ever stop by here! Their service and the way they prepare the sushi in front of you is simply outstanding. The master chef hands the plates to you as he continues to entertain other customers. You can even share a beer with him! On top of that, our server was extremely attentive- constantly picking up our used plates, explaining the menu, checking in on us frequently. The meals were also delicious. We splurged a bit and tried a lot of the seafood and skewer options. My favorite would have to be the soft-shell crab and the scallop skewers. The food was fresh. The ambience was relaxing, even when it got busy. It felt very home-y! The interior is nicely decorated, clean and sleek. My boyfriend and I were so pleased with the experience that we agreed to come back again very soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I'll start from the beginning, it took 4 calls during their business hours before we could finally get ahold of them. When they finally took our call, we made a reservation. Be warned that they do require a credit card to be put on file in case you cancel (they will charge a cancellation fee ). We arrived and they had our table ready for us--yay. I am pretty glad I got a reservation because it was jam packed. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. We ordered our food and the wait times for each item were extremely varied. They messed up one of our food orders (which already took around 30 minutes to come out) and it took them around 30 ADDITIONAL minutes to come back with the correct item (totaling a1 whole hour wait time). To give more detail, we came to celebrate my dad's birthday. I asked if they do anything special for birthdays and they said they give ice cream or honey toast. Silly me, I ordered the honey toast and it turns out it's almost $9 (no, it is NOT on the house for celebrations). Additionally, the waitresses did not come around to check in on us except for one time and to drop off the food. It was a very long wait time to order any additional items, which is pesky since their food portions are so tiny (I'll give more details on this later in the review). As far a the food goes, I ordered the shiitake mushroom, the chicken teriyaki skewer bowl, the fried shrimp and the fried oyster. The shiitake and fried shrimp were good; the fried oyster was okay (not a big fan of the texture), and the chicken teriyaki skewer was bland. Overall, the food was overpriced because the portions are ridiculously small. Please keep in mind that the skewers are smaller than average. For example, the chicken was 8.50 for 3 skewers holding 3 tiny pieces of chicken each. You are mostly paying for rice--80% rice. In terms of the ambience, it is pretty small but well decorated. The decor has an authentic Japanese feel to it. Overall, I was disappointed with the service but the food and ambiance are tolerable.

Amazing food! Prompt attentive service! Complete Izakaya ambience and feel. Can't go wrong with staple menu items. Rotating "daily special" menu adds a higher level of selection. Get there early, many of the items do sell out.

In A Nutshell:-Hachi has been recommended by Vegas locals, so I finally had a chance to check it out.-This Japanese restaurant is very popular, so you might wanna make a reservation.-If you look at the walls you will notice media publications raving about their Chicken Karaage being the best in town.-Those articles aren't lying, the karaage is exceptional!-The Fried Oysters are good too.-I really enjoyed their sake, especially the Kubota Senjyu Ginjo, which, "compliments a variety of dishes".-Their Sashimi platter is amazing, especially when you upgrade it to the premium 6 choice.Overall, the restaurant is very cozy, there is a U-shaped sushi bar in the center & the ambiance really makes you feel like you are eating in a spot in Japan.

Been coming here for at least once a month and I've never had anything that I disliked from their menu. I like all kinds of Japanese food and Hachi has the best bang for the buck sashimi selection in Las Vegas. Despite the inflation, Hachi hasn't spiked up their price unlike many other Japanese restaurants in Vegas but retain their superb quality of ingredients. Ambiance of the restaunt always had been great as it offers both the open area and booths for additional privacy. Servers and chefs (including all grillers at the skewer station :( - it's a hard job) are always friendly and attentive to customers. I highly recommend all of their sashimi selection and crispy chips (deep fried chicken skin), and of course, their juicy skewers.

Delicious little restaurant with a great selection of dishes. I love coming here for the drinks and some small dishes. It is pricy and there is usually a wait, but the atmosphere and service is phenomenal. I think this is an awesome place to catch up with old friends/family, go on a date, or celebrate a special occasion in a more lowkey type of way. I wouldn't try to bring a huge party here without a reservation. I usually get a cocktail, some sashimi, and agadashi tofu, and I'm very happy!
Be the first to ReplySmaller intimate table seating with available bar seating.
Sushi tastes fresh. Kitchen/hot food is not good quality food. Skip the hot pot, looks nothing like the photos. Skewers has 1-3 pieces of small proteins in them. Service is good. Would recommend trying once but not return again.
Be the first to ReplyVery good food.
Lots of selection. We usually go hear on weekends and the service is fast even they are busy. Servers are friendly and professional.

f you are interested in yakitori in Las Vegas, then this is the place for you. A friendly environment with a cozy atmosphere, this place has everything. The must try dish is the crispy chips and the chicken karaage. The crispy chips are made with chicken skin. It is guilty pleasure. The karaage is fried to perfection. You might want to steer away from the sukiyaki as it is a little bit too salty. Overall amazing. Only downside is that it is far from the strip.

We've dined at majority of the restaurants in this strip mall and we finally got to try Hachi. We did not have reservations but happy that sears were available at the sushi bar. Yay!!!Service was absolutely great. 5 Stars!!!!Food: Chicken ChipsSpicy Ahi Tuna RollPork Belly with Salt and Tare sauce. Adegashi Tofu (Best) Grilled Steak- sooo tenderAll the dishes and skewers were delicious. They are open late night and this will be our go to spot for late night dining.

What a super find -- good food, better prices! If you need a break from the rich and decadent flavors of the strip restaurants, come here! Reservations suggested at this medium sized Japanese restaurant. Hachi is located near Chinatown and has a parking lot that can be pretty full at dinner time. We ordered a wide variety of all dishes. Almost everything was really good; we ordered:Recommend. Sashimi/raw (fresh and well priced) -- assorted sashimi w/toro upgrade, scallop & uni carpaccio, beef tataki . Familiar, homey food -- cha sui bowl was super tasty and pretty big, takoyaki. Unique -- hayashi nasu (eggplant), ikayaki (cuttle fish)About the Yakitori -- this seems to be the other thing Hachi is known for. Yakitori is ordered by the stick, so don't be confused by photos where there are several sticks in a dish. . We enjoyed chicken thigh, teba wing, shishito pepper. Salty & charred tasting: other meat yakitori shown below. Sweet Corn yakitori - charred and slightly raw . Shiitake butter - moist, but no butter flavorThis will probably be a regular stop for us when in town so I can explore more of the vast menu.

Omg... the menu tho. It is HUGE! It was so hard to decide what to choose. Luckily, we had a waiter that seemed quite knowledgeable and made some good recommendations. They had some items that I've never tried before: monkfish liver, yellowtail collar. I'm always excited to try new things so that was fun. The sushi was delicious. The honey toast is a must but save room because it is HUGE, easily shareable between 2-4 people. I'm the restaurant itself was small and intimate, clean and much nicer than the outside would appear. The service was good. I will be back. I was too busy looking at the menu between ordering things and forgot to take pictures

Went there for their Honey Toast and they did NOT disappoint. If you want to explore something different and unique, try this place! The very friendly staff will make your experience even better.

Hachi has a beautiful name and they also serve wonderful food. If you enjoy authentic Japanese food Hachi is the place to be. Come here with a large group of people so you can share all the tasty items that they prepare. Each item that you do order doesn't all come out at the same time. It's plate by plate. We tried so many dishes of fresh fish, deep-fried fish, deep-fried chicken, eyeballs, sashimi, sushi rolls and they also have one of the best takoyaki balls I've ever had. There is something for everyone and if you do want a toast dessert please order it about when you are almost done. Because it takes 20 minutes to make and this is very shareable because it is so big! Had a fun dinner with friends and will be back. A great place in Vegas if you are here. The only downfall is that the parking lot can be very full.
Be the first to ReplyBest spot for non-AYCE sushi.
. if you want more traditional style tapas-like platters.. definitely a great diet spot, not heavy on the rice.. definitely a great DATE spot!

We have visited numerous izakaya's throughout the years and this one is near the top. From the first dish to dessert everything was really good. An added benefit was the very helpful waitress. She gave a thorough explanation of the different choices of sake and also gave us some recommendations on dishes. There were a few minor glitches with dishes not coming out quickly but we had enough to keep us busy. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyMy favorite late night sushi spot everything was delicious.
Would recommend all of the sashimi and nigiri
Be the first to ReplyFood was delicious staff was friendly.
Next time I go to Vegas I will eat here again.
Be the first to ReplyWow, this place was great.
Everything that we tried on the menu was absolutely delicious. The duck and the premium Wagyu tongue were my favorites, but everything we ate was succulent!!!! Don't forget the sake to wash the meal down. Kanpai!!! I cannot wait to go back. Arigatou Hachi.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for date night.
We were lucky to get seats at the bar because as soon as they open the place is packed. So reservations is recommended. Food was fresh and delicious!!! Ambiance was perfect. Waiters and waitresses were very nice and attentive. We're definitely coming back....

I loved my experience there! All their entries are tiny, but so much verity! With small bite size skewers and dishes, you get to keep ordering throughout the night. Pair with some drink too! The place also opens late, perfect for some late night snack after clubbing or karayoke.
Be the first to ReplyCame here on a Friday night.
Made sure I made reservations and was seated promptly. As others have commented, the only weird glitch was the hostess. She spoke so softly I couldn't hear her and when I kept asking her to repeat herself she still didn't speak any clearer and louder. Go figure. It always amazes me how businesses put people like this in positions that are the first impression you get of their establishment. Regardless, food is good AND reasonably priced here. We had a roll, some yakitori sticks, and a fish carpaccio (can't remember the specifics LOL!). But all good. Believe it or not, the only disappointment was the honey toast. Lots of ice cream but where's the honey? It was like we were eating toast with ice cream. If I came here again that's the only thing I'd pass on. The servers were on it and very attentive.
Be the first to ReplyHad a great time here with some friends.
Our server Mitchell was really quick and thorough with explaining all of the dishes we didn't understand. Highlights from the yakitori were the freshwater eel, beef tongue, and mochi wrapped with bacon. Sauce was rich and the eel itself melted in your mouth I had to get two orders. The tongue was three perfect bites of some of the best meat I've had. I unexpectedly loved the mochi wrapped bacon. Usually I picture mochi with sweets but it was charred and wrapped in bacon. This added a really awesome dynamic to the dish that I loved. The Takoyaki was a phenomenal too! On top of it being stuffed with actual chunks of octopus they put it on a bed of egg salad. I've never had it that way before and it was a game changer. The kaarage chicken came with two sauces. Definitely recommend the house sauce. It's like a ponzu mixed with sesame oil and green onions. It compliments the chicken perfectly. On top of all the food having a nice beer and sake rounded off our meal. Easily one of the best izakayas in vegas and I will definitely be going back!
