Dinner in Baltimore, MD
LOVE the food here!! Came here recently Sunday evening for dinner with friends—service is always great here! Food wise: I love their Bone-In Ribeye Steak the best—DELICIOUS!! The steak is tender (medium cooked) and very well flavored and enough to split for two. For appetizers, the Maine Lobster Risotto and Berkshire Pork Belly are great, but are fairly small portions. I enjoy the Loaded Baked Potato, Roasted Corn and Market Salad as well. Cocktails are good—they even allow you to bring in your casino drink. If it’s your birthday, they give complimentary champagne to the whole table! Food prices are a bit high but expected at this type of steakhouse and inside a casino, but you can use your Caesar comps towards your dinner!

My wife and I dined at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak restaurant for our 20 year anniversary. The meal was one of the best we’ve had in our entire lives. First course was the crab cake and Caesar salad. Being born and bred in Maryland , we are serious about our crab cakes. This one was incredible and perfectly done. The Caesar salad was as good as a salad can be. I’d also like to mention the old bay butter served with our bread course. Once again, being born and bred in MD, we loved the old bay butter and wish other restaurants would embrace this concept as well. For the main course, my wife had the Beef Wellington, which was excellent. The filet was cooked to a perfect MR and the demi glaze was just Fantastic. My only criticism would be the puff pastry was a little soggy on the inside. I had the 16 oz NY strip, which was cooked perfectly MR and was served Oscar style with jumbo lump crab, asparagus and bernaise sauce, absolutely delicious. For dessert my wife had a chocolate mousse, which was velvety smooth and perfectly executed. I had the sticky toffee pudding, which was absolutely perfect. This was served with a brown butter ice cream and a toffee sauce that was delicious and decadent. The service was excellent and very attentive throughout our meal. The ambiance was lovely and beautifully decorated. My only two criticisms for this experience would be finding the restaurant, which was a little difficult, and the cost of the meal, which was a little over priced. I can’t say I will be a frequent diner at this restaurant but I will certainly be back for another special occasion.

My experience started before we even arrived. I won a gift certificate through an online charity auction in October. I mistakenly didn't check the expiration date, only to realize when I made the reservation for August, it expired in July. After contacting the restaurant, I spoke with Melissa, their Marketing Manager, who quickly and seamlessly had them reissue an update gift certificate. When we arrived for dinner, approximately 20 minutes early for our reservation on a Saturday night, they had the new gift certificate ready for us, and sat us immediately. Everyone we spoke with and encountered was incredibly professional and extremely friendly. Kayla, our waitress, was a joy. She took such great care of us, explained everything, and even offered her opinions (all positive) of different dishes when we weren't sure what we wanted to order. The atmosphere was lovely - from the decor and table settings to the service - our water was constantly refilled, and Kayla wiped down the table between courses. And the food! The food was amazing!! I honestly have no words to describe how incredible every dish was. And when they found out it was my birthday, they made it extra special with a few extra 'treats'. It truly was an amazing experience. I honestly have nothing negative or constructive to add. Thank you for an amazing evening! I will definitely be back!

Wife and I had a reservation here for a night out with a little casino gambling afterwards. They had two really nice hostesses who seated us right away. Our waitress (Kayla) came over immediately to explain the drink and dinner menus. The drinks took a while to arrive, but my Old Fashion was well made. For an appetizer we shared the pork belly, it was very tender and tasted great with the collard greens and the side condiments on the plate. For entrée I had to try the beef wellington and my wife had the Lamb. The beef wellington was perfect with the gravy and mashed potatoes. It was cooked medium rate and was very tender with a good flaky crust. My wife wanted her Lamb cooked medium well, but when it came it was very raw, and we had to sent it back to be recorded. This took a about 10 minutes, but the waitress gave myvwife a very nice flute of champagne for her trouble. We also had the roasted corn, it tasted great, but had a lot of corn string that we had to eat around. For dessert we ordered the sticky toffee pudding, this thing was a piece of heaven and gave my tongue a thrill, and the ice cream on the side tasted awesome and was very creamy. The meal was expensive, but overall really good

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! Sorry to hear others say how bad the service was as ours was top notch. I believe her name was Bethany. The beef wellington was superb!

Let me first start by saying the food was great. That is all that was great. Service needs to be trained by Chick-fil-a . It took almost an hour to get a bottle of wine to the table. For the money they charge you should have 5 star service and it was a 2.5 at best.

Some friends and I decided to eat at this restaurant after gambling a bit at Horseshoe. We were all up and decided to enjoy a nice steak dinner. One of the guys had been here before and said it was really good, but from time to being sat to paying the check was a couple hours. We went in and got some seats at the bar as there was a long wait to be seated.
We got our drinks, no problems. Craft cocktails were $16 - $20. Not too bad. We had only went with a grilled caesar salad as an appetizer... Keep in mind the lettuce is what's grilled. It does not come with grilled chicken but that was a mistake on my part. Next came the entrée's. We had each gotten the 20 oz Bone-in and it was fantastic. Best steak of my life (better than any high dollar steakhouse I've been to) and worth the drive from DC alone. The steak was hot but cooked to perfection, the texture was melt in your mouth good, and my god the fat was a delicacy on its own. The complimentary steak sauces were also really good but the chimichurri was by far the best of them. I did not use most of it, but it was nice to switch it up every 5 ounces or so. The sides while good imo are not worth $14 each. We had the spinach and green beans. Would rate a 6 out of 10. If we did not have 20 ounces of steak each, we would have needed probably 4 for 3 guys.
Overall, since we were in no time crunch, the experience was well worth the time we had spent there. If I had family on a schedule of some sorts, I can see how it can be frustrating to be seated for two and a half hours. Longer waits at a restaurant are due to labor shortages and is the new norm. This is a problem with all restaurants nowadays.
Horrible service/messy
I came here for my birthday tonight and the food was amazing but the service was horrible. We were there from 730pm till 11pm. Our waiter was slow and forgot our drink order multiple times. He was very messy when pouring our water. He got water all over the table and the menu’s. One of my guests had a $100 gift card that my fiancé and i got for them back in DEC of 2019 as a Christmas gift. When they tried to use it, the waiter said there was only $50 on it. When we talked to the manager about it, she said that there was a maintenance fee if not used in 12 months of $4.95 per month. The manager did not do anything to accommodate my guests during my dinner. Obviously COVID happened and they were not able to go within the year. We were not told this when we purchased the gift cards from the front desk in cash. Do not purchase any kind of gift cards from here as a gift unless your friends or family plan to come within the year. Overall, we were unsatisfied with the service and expected more because my fiancé and i come here frequently.

We ordered crab cakes. The price of crab meat has doubled in recent months, so I expected smaller crab cakes but not horrible filler cakes. They were priced as if they were reflective of the new higher prices, but they seemed to have NO crab meat in them at all. HORRIBLE!! They should simply remove them from the menu

I was so excited to eat here. The ambiance is great and the service was phenomenal; however, I ordered a Beef Wellington and it was very disappointing. It was luke warm and the pastry tasted horrible. I ate the steak after taking off the pastry and the steak didn't even seem to be seasoned. Completely disappointed in the food quality. I also got the Toffee dessert and it was soggy. The best item I had was a Caesar salad and the mashed potatoes.

The food was ok, the sea food tower was a disappointment for the price. Steaks were good and so were the drinks. Nothing special

I watch plenty of Hell's Kitchen and I can say...I see why Ramsay sends back the Wellington if it's not cooked right.
My Wellington was Awesome...it melt like butter in my mouth. My wife had the Sea Bass and the flavor just great.
When you get crab cake...you do get great meat and not a lot of filler.
Redemption was Delicious!!
In June of 2019 I wrote a brutally bad, but honest, 1-star (would have been zero if allowed) review of Gordon Ramsay Steak in Baltimore. We hadn't gone back since then and it took some major convincing on the part of our casino host to get us back in that door. But, on Thursday, August 26th, with some serious trepidation, back in we went.
I am leading with this so you know I keep my reviews real and I'm not just a fluff piece who's ga-ga over anything Ramsay.
We were seated at a table in the bar section. We would have preferred the dining room and feel like this should be offered as an option to diners. We are choosing to chalk this part up to staffing shortages so many service businesses are currently struggling with, and maybe we landed exactly where we were supposed to be.
Out waitress was Laura. Every dining establishment should have a Laura. She was absolutely wonderful! Serious kudos to her. She was pleasant, and on top of things through-out the evening. She knew that menu inside out, upside down, and backwards. She gave us a complete rundown, made solid suggestions, never made us feel like she was rushing and we watched, she ran her self silly all night.
We started with a Caesar Salad and the Lobster Risotto for appetizers. The salad was good. The risotto? I could eat that risotto all day everyday and never regret it! It was phenomenally good. I highly recommend this dish.
He had the American Filet. It had a very nice flavor and if it were any more tender it'd have been mush. I will be ordering this again for myself when we go back.
I had the Roasted Beef Wellington. Now, let me say 2 things. I ordered this because after years of watching this signature dish on all the Ramsay show, there was no other option, lol. I have talked about it for years. That being said, I knew going in I'm not a fan of mushrooms. Go figure. It was as "earthy" as I expected to be. The pastry was perfection as was the doneness and tenderness of the beef. I wondered, after the first bite, if I had maybe made a mistake but my opinion changed around bite 3 & a little bit of added pepper. I can safely say I am a huge fan.
We shared the Brussel Sprouts and Roasted Corn for sides. Both were knock your socks off good!
There were no disappointments here this evening. They were all in and I am here to sing their praises from the roof tops. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We can't say enough good things about Laura, she killed it. Our meal left us wanting to go back again soon. So happy we were convinced to go back.
Gordon Ramsay Steak Baltimore, to my surprise and delight, completely redeemed themselves and it was DELICIOUS!!
FIVE Stars and they sincerely earned each one of them!
Side notes - We were given 2 complimentary glasses of sparkling wine. We appreciated the gesture but would have rather this been an offer first. One glass was drunk out of a sense of obligation and the other went to waste because we aren't drinkers. I will have an occasional glass of wine, he completely abstains. Not all former drinkers are comfortable sitting in a bar, which leads us back to seating options should be offered when possible.
Sure wish this experience was an anniversary to remember.
Thought we would take a nice long drive out and enjoy a hearty meal for our 17th wedding anniversary. The service was poor, the food was tasteless and the steak was rubbery. Shortly before the bill arrived, there were gnats crawling across the table. After we paid, I drew this to the waitress ' attention (didn't want her to think we were trying to skip out of paying). She merely said we get them all the time and "sorry". I told her she should use Home Defence to spray a couple of times before opening. She said we do. Please also note that there was a group of four ladies across for us who had the same experience and I drew it to the waitress' attention and she addressed the issue with them. Disappointed!!, we are!

Bravo Bravo! We ate it all…risotto, tartare, crab soup, steaks and so many sides and not to mention dessert. Outstanding! Mati and the whole gang made this such a memorable dining experience! Worth every penny.
