Wonderful evening at an amazing restaurant!
This was an amazing experience. Courteous and professional welcome from the host, we were seated promptly at our reserved time. Warm greeting from our server, offered beverages right away. Our meal was outstanding- I'm gluten free and I had so many options to choose from. We had shrimp cocktail and lobster risotto (hold the crispy onions to accommodate my diet) to start- both exceptional. We both ordered the filet oscar, it was so tender we could almost cut it with a fork. Yes, the restaurant is loud- but we could still have a conversation. And yes, it is on the pricey side- but for a celebration dinner, it was absolutely worth it. One of the most enjoyable meals we've ever had.

The food was amazing. My husband got the beef Wellington which was pretty small but the flavor was amazing. I got the filet mignon which was amazing. It didnโt come with anything else so ordered side of potatoes which were not fully cooked. We got a side of Mac and cheese which was lovely. Very pricey but it was a great meal. Iโd go back. Donโt expect it to be HK in LA or Vegas. Itโs much smaller. Service was excellent!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious! Loud!
The food was excellent, not ridiculously expensive ($30-80 entrees), and the service was professional. Hated the atmosphere. It's loud. Really LOUD! MUCH TOO LOUD for a fine dining experience, so much so that it detracted from the evening. The casino is also dated and run down, which adds nothing to the experience. As for the meals, the braised short rib was fork tender, the toffee butterscotch dessert was a total mouthgasm. The food lives up to the hype. The rest, not so much.
Be the first to ReplyCozier than other HKs, but not disappointing
We've dined at several other locations of this restaurant and have always enjoyed it. The Tahoe location is one of the smaller ones, but that means it was also less noisy than others have been. The cocktail list is also a bit shorter here. We tried the roasted cauliflower and found it oversauced, but our bass and filet were very good, as always. We'll dine at HK again, but wouldn't mind seeing some new menu items.

Youโre paying for a name. I love GRโฆbut the experience at Lake Tahoe was average at bestโฆand Iโm being generous. Took 20 min to have our order taken. Water refills were grossly delayed. I wouldโve ordered wine but wow ($$$$$$). I definitely expect an up charge for alcohol and I have zero problems paying for quality. But good griefโฆ$25/glass? Come on. Other reviews reported the service was top notch. Tonightโฆwellโฆnot so much. It was hum drum. Ohโฆprepare to not be able to have a conversationโฆmercy it was LOUD. Save your money and skip this location. You wonโt regret missing the meal.

Lobster risotto is the best. Great experience wonderful service. I canโt wait until Wolf opens up. We love Harveyโs hotel and Harrahs gambling. Summer or winter itโs like our second Tahoe home.

This was a fantastic experience. I chose to come here because I was really curious about the food. I really wanted to know if it was going to be good/edible. The food was great, service was quick, ambiance just like the show. I had the Mac and cheese amazing. Lobster risotto- this is probably the best risotto I have ever had. My husbandโs scallops and Wellington were just lovely. The dessertโฆthe highlight. Yes I will be going to the other locations. It is worth the experience. There are still things in the menu for me to try.
Be the first to Replytourist trap. save your money
tourist trap we were all cited for a special night out. I will say the food was great. but the price paid meant it should have been. every thing else was sad. ugly cramped room. rude hurried non- greeting. disheveled busy server. cattle chute approach. clientele in hoodies and jeans. noisy. impersonal. it was ugh. im treated better at applebees. the casino is cheesy and there is zero ambience.
Be the first to ReplyHubbyโs birthday dinner was delish!
We ate here on a Tuesday evening to celebrate my husbandโs birthday. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Our wait person, Sean, was so helpful and attentive providing us with an evening to remember. I had read some of the slightly negative comments on Trip Advisor and was really on the look out for problems at the restaurant. We had none. The beef Wellington was superb, just like Sean.
Be the first to ReplyA nice but expensive restaurant
This is a nice restaurant and the staff was very good and was responsive to our wishes. I was, however disappointed in my main course of Beef Wellington. It was overcooked and dry. I did not eat it. The rest of my order was delicious and especially the King Crab, Oysters, and sticky toffee dessert. Beware the rather slippery floors however. I slipped and fell on the way to our table for six. I just suffered some bruises and bumps. Staff was very responsive in helping me and making sure I was Okay. All in all it was an enjoyable evening. It was for a celebration of my husband's and my 60th wedding anniversary

We visited the Hells Kitchen in Vegas recently and it was a 5 out of 5 experience. Unfortunately this location did not live up to that expectation. Timing was off on the courses and we spent 2 hours instead of probably 1. The scallops were a little over cooked and the Wellington and pork chops were โฆ well just underwhelming. The drinks were awesome and the brussel sprouts were the hit of the meal, except for of course the sticky toffee pudding. Donโt visit here without having it! Very expensive, so expectationโs are high!
Be the first to ReplySports Bar rather than Fine Dining
Overpriced meals in a noisy restaurant. Service was minimal except for the busser (female) who kept our water glasses full and table cleared of used plates.

Keep in mind this is a brand for television star and not a fine dining restaurant and you might have appropriate expectations. The overall experience of this restaurant was a disappointment in every category: quality of food and beverage, ambience and atmosphere, choice of food, and service. My wife and I had a reservation and were seated on time . It took quite a while for waitstaff to make their way to our table: a trainee waiter and his silent overseer who stood on the other side of the table watching, making the whole ordering experience a bit awkward. As we were seated we noticed a strong fishy odor permeated the restaurant. The tables are packed into one giant seating area so there is nothing to deaden the sound of dozens of loud conversations. The walls have fake wood panelling and metal corner guards - it looks more like a ski-resort cafeteria rather than a fine-dining restaurant. The menu is limited to lobster and steak-type dishes. The waiter told us the "specials" which were mostly upsells to be added on top of already over-the-top rich food - he suggested Beluga caviar be put atop seafood dishes or lobster put on top of any of the steaks. He did not tell us the price of any of these "specials." My wife ordered a beer (there was no beer list to peruse, she just asked for an IPA) and I ordered the Pony Express - the menu's featured cocktail (at $22!) Listed as an "old fashioned" the waiter said it came in a custom flask that I was free to keep. Ten minutes later (I figured they were busy at the bar, not realizing that no barteneder would be required for my cocktail) he returned with a glass of ice and a small glass bottle (think mini-bar or airline liquor) with a cheesy printed "Pony Express" label and a plastic twist off cap. The restaurant's featured cocktail is pre-bottled somewhere offsite. The contents of the bottle were thick - more syrup than liquid, cloying, with a bitter-almond aftertaste. I did not finish the drink. Because of the lack of entree choices (if you're not a fan of lobster or expensive cuts of steak, I'd recommend eating elsewhere) we each ordered an appetizer - my wife ordered the scallops and I ordered the Wagyu meatballs. Our "meal" arrived maybe 30 minutes after we ordered. My wife's scallops were so thinly sliced that they looked like they'd been shaved on a deli-slicer. They were coated in a kind of Bearnaise sauce and another sickly sweet sauce and were slimy. She tried one and left the rest fearful she might get food poisoning from the undercooked seafood. She ate the small clump of diced vegetables in the middle of the ring of scallops. The meatballs arrived in a piping hot cast iron dish and were buried under an inch of gooey cheese and accompanied by polenta "croutons". The marinara sauce was overly sweet and sugary and the meatballs were very plain and uninspired. I left most of the appetizer in the dish. When the waiter and his silent menacing trainer returned to stand on either side of our small table, the waiter only asked what else we'd be having and seemed un-phased by the fact that while my wife had finished her beer, my cocktail was largely untouched, and both of our appetizers had only had a bite or two taken. We asked for the check and neither the waiter nor the trainer asked us if anything was wrong with the food - they seemed unsurprised by the nearly untouched food, though did offer us a to-go box which we politely declined. As soon as I signed the check (fortunately we made it out of there for just a touch over $100, I can't imagine how I'd have felt if we'd wasted $400 on such a mediocre experience) we made for the door, past the sales cabinet of Gordon Ramsey cosplay chef's jackets for sale at the host stand, and out into the past-its-prime, musty casino of Harvey's where half of the other bars and restaurants were shuttered on a Friday night in the middle of ski season. We headed out of the casino and found some street tacos to save the evening from being a total food disaster. If you want to blow $400 at Harvey's try one of the blackjack tables outside the doors of Hell's Kitchen. At least then you'll have a chance of winning something.

A friend and I ate at Hells Kitchen on 1/26/2023 around 8pm The service wasn't the issue. Our server was great. The food tasted great as well, but I ended up with severe food poisoning around 7/8 hours after consuming my meal. We shared the lobster risotto and a dessert She had the beef wellington. She never became ill. I however had one of the specials which was a Filet mignon topped with crab and asparagus with 3 fire roasted cherry tomatoes on the side. I woke up around 330/4 am having to run to the restroom to vomit. Which continued for hours. I also had diarrhea and was very dizzy when I stood up or walked around. I ended up staying in bed the whole last day of our trip unfortunately. They were closed when I was leaving to go home so I told front desk of Harveys what had happened.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive and awful!
We had reservations at 6 p. m. 1/1/23. My daughter and her friend chose the Prix fixed menu: Clams and Beef Wellington $ 90.00 each. I ordered a Filet Mignon $ 60.00 served with three little cherry tomatoes and butterflied and cooked so bad it looked like a dead insect. I called the waitress, she apologize and said she would replace the steak. I waited a while and finally brought the meat, by itself and again not cooked to my taste. I could not eat it, so she offered me a free dessert, which I did not eat because by then, I was disappointed and angry.

I've never had a bad meal here, and on my most recent visit discovered they have a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you have to request it. I found the risotto, lentils, and Brussels sprouts to be excellent. Service here is top notch, very professional! The bar makes a great option for solo diners, as the dining room is, as has been mentioned, a bit crowded and noisy. I like that they open at 4pm. I like the location off the casinos for a bit of gaming afterwards.
Be the first to ReplyA bit of Heavenly Hell
We were hesitant to eat here given its location right off the noisy and smoke filled casino floor, but found the ambience to be wonderful. The food was excellent, as was the service. The entrees come as a single item, so you need to order the side dishes to complete the meal. The cocktails were fantastic as was the desert. We will be back!

We enjoyed our late night dinner here. I had the filet and he had the salmon, both very tasty. The vegetarian risotto was amazing as a starter. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Service was great. Prices are a bit high, but nothing out of the ordinary for a steak place like this, especially being a Ramsey joint.

I've been to a lot of Gordon Ramsay restaurants, including Hell's Kitchen in Vegas, and this one was horrible. We came for my wife's 35th birthday. We were seated m and the subsequently they seated a family who was actively smoking weed with a child who would not stop screaming next to us. It did not make for an experience worth 400 dollars. We discussed our concerns with the manager and we're told someone would follow up with us today. When he/she did not follow up we called and were subsequently gaslighted into telling us that our experience was fine. Despite the fact that the manager the night before ( I believe his name was Ian) stated that he would follow up with us given numerous complaints about the same thing and that it was inappropriate and he was about to kick said family out. I understand marijuana is legal, but actively smoking during dinner is not appropriate. The real issue at hand was that no one followed up on the issue that they said they were going to and pretended that it never happened. I would not recommend this place for anyone. I think it speaks volumes that the exact same restaurant in Vegas rates much higher. If I were Gordon Ramsay, I would close this place and expend my energy on locations that were actually trying.

Make reservations early, this place fills up fast. Food was amazing. Cowboy steak was huge and the meatballs, I could have eaten those alone. Drinks were great, be prepared to spend some $$$ Would go again.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible host service
We arrived for our 10pm reservation 4 minutes late due to an accident on the road and the host (white bald male) did not let us in. We called 5 times to notify them we would be late and nobody picked up the phone. He told us that the "kitchen was closed"- at 1004. There's a 15 minute grace period with every restaurant I've been to- Michelin's included. If there is no grace period, that should be clearly stated. Not sure what incentive this man gets for turning us away for being 4 minutes late, but he definitely ruined our night.
Be the first to ReplyGood food but possibly the worst service ever
We enjoyed each of our dishes but were hurried along by rushed and unengaged service. Our waiter was walking away each as he was asking us about how our meal was going. The restaurant was not close to full at the time of our 9 pm reservation, so there was no reason for the lack of attention to our table. A waiterโs job is to be attentive and help make their dinersโ experience a pleasant one. The meal lasted about 75 minutes, and for over $400 it should have been much more leisurely. Most of our dishes were very tasty, but due to the service and atmosphere provided we will never go back to this restaurant again when we visit Lake Tahoeโฆand we will definitely visit again.

I'll start with location. It's terrible. Inside a run down Harrahs were u have to get thru the reaking smoke. 2nd it's small so your reservation could place you sitting at the bar. Food wise. The scallops are delicious. The beef wellington might have been good but was a little to rare for me. I think it would be nice for the server to make sure u are OK with that. But it was late. The side of mac and cheese excellent. And the sticky pudding is a must try. just melts in your mouth.. If I would try on of these kitchens again I would not get the prefix menu. Way too much food.
