The dip beetroot dip w feta and pita bread was insanely good. The chorizo sausage and potato breakfast was good albeit heavy. The pancakes looked amazing however didn't love them - but this possibly was because we over ordered (portions are huge) and the pancakes at on our table awhile before we got to them which maybe caused the slightly rubber texture. We will definitely go again but be more strategic w our ordering.

No complaints there! However, be warned that they were strict to the point of rude and unpleasant about the 90 minute limit on the table for brunch. The person that seated us used the term "the clock starts now" and at 75 minutes our server was hesitant to take an order for a mint tea becuase we were running out of time and didn't refill my coffee cup. All in all, I wish this place was friendlier as the food is so beautiful, but it was really unrelaxing to have a meal there with friends, and so much of it was unnecessary as we would have probably left around 100 minutes anyway. Too Bad!

I got the Spanish hash and it was. Def recommend

A Mediterranean restaurant that is so good for brunch/ lunch! Loved it and can't wait to come back! They don't take reservations on the weekends and is walk in only so make sure you get there early. We waited for about 45 minutes to get a table for 2 which is fine. Parking is on the street and hard to find since there aren't a lot of parking lots in the area, so make sure to allot extra time for this when dining here. The vibe inside is casual but the food is what is delicious! Things we got: Iced latte 3/5 - Nothing special at all. Just needed that caffeine to start my day. Grilled halloumi cheese 5/5 - Can't go wrong with grilled halloumi. It has the rubbery texture and is salty but tastes so good. Good for sharing also. Meze Platter 5/5 - Get this! It comes with three dips of choice, three pieces of falafel, variety of pickled vegetables and pita. It's such a variety of flavours and textures all in one dish. Loved this! Blueberry Halva Pancakes 4/5 - It's a buttermilk pancake with orange blossom ricotta, blueberry and syrup. So good and light, not too heavy at all. Came in a stack of three and was again a great sharing plate. I loved the food here and can't wait to come back. Everything is so good for sharing with the table and looks amazing as well.

I really enjoy their food; it's packed with flavors, and the menu descriptions make it easy to choose. The vibe, including the decor and service, is top-notch. However, the main issue that prevents me from visiting more frequently is their occasional decision to close the waitlist. Having to wait around 1.5 hours in person on a weekend is quite inconvenient, especially considering the technology available to manage waitlists efficiently. If it's a marketing strategy, when I recommend this place and mention the wait time, 100% of my friends choose a more convenient option. I mean, who's got 1.5 hours to waste?! It's a significant deterrent, even when the food and ambiance are excellent.

Step aside hummus! You NEED to try pistachio muhammara from The Good Fork! This exceptional dip has won my heart when paired with soft personal pita breads. We also tried their fried sigara boreks, which are delicious cheese rolls (I mean, when have you ever had a bad cheese roll???). I know I told hummus to step aside but honestly the hummus bowls here are so deluxe; it came with pickled vegetables, shepard's salad, sumac'd onions, and green goddess brussel sprouts. The veggies really elevated the dish and rounded out the thick hummus. Just wonderful. All dishes were super colourful and vibrant My friend and I were stuffed with these 3 dishes. Portions are generous and I'm glad I didn't order more. I've been dreaming of this meal since I went (specifically the muhammara), so I'll definitely be back for more!

The food at Good Fork is not your average brunch fare!! Unexpected flavours that are so delicious making one wanting to try everything on the menu! Service is great but make sure you make a reservation. We wanted two hours for a table and they ran out of the chick pea taters by the time we sat down. Ambiance is great.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was kind and efficient.
The food was delicious! I ordered the menemen, simit with honeycomb butter and sigara boregi. Drinks were Turkish coffee and orange juice all for $70. The ambiance is busy but very cute inside.
Be the first to ReplyThe Good Fork is my favourite resto in Toronto.
They do everything amazing. My only gripe with them is that I want it to be easier to access their delicious food. Please open a new location at King & Shaw.

Service is very friendly. Interesting Middle East vibe. Healthy selections

This was a great find in Toronto! I had an almost perfect meal here. It was busy and the wait was about 20 minutes, but well worth it. The service was standard and the waitress was very helpful with explaining some of the unknown words on menu. We ordered an appetizer of whipped feta, which was brought out shortly, and I ordered the Good Forkin Morning with crumbled suçuk instead of chorizo. The whipped feta was so creamy and smooth. There was roasted bell peppers and olive oil to accompany the feta. The warm soft bread was so delicious as I scooped up the feta with it. Next was the Good Forkin Morning. It was one of the most properly prepared dishes I've had for breakfast. The eggs were over easy and the potatoes were extra crispy. Every bite was savory and seasoned well! The suçuk added a wanted flavorful saltiness that worked well with the dish. I would love to eat this every Sunday morning. At last I had the blueberry halva pancakes. They had great flavor, but they were not done. I did ask my server to check the pancakes and she took them back to the kitchen and of course I was told that this is how the pancakes are supposed to be. I had them boxed up to take with me. I had a wonderful almost perfect breakfast here.

We went for brunch on a Saturday, super busy. Be sure to join their virtual waiting list ahead of time, we joined an hour before arrival and still waited about 30 min once we got there. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with big windows that let in lots of natural light. Seating is comfortable. The food is delicious. Wonderfully seasoned. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, there's bound to be something everyone will like.
Be the first to ReplyNice space and good food.
We all got different things and everyone was more or less satisfied.
Be the first to ReplyWe'd actually attempted to grab a bite at Good Fork a week
We'd actually attempted to grab a bite at Good Fork a week earlier, but the place was full and the wait was 45 minutes. Yikes. So we returned the following week and showed up about 15 minutes after they opened. We snagged a nice window table and began perusing the extensive brunch menu.We decided to share a couple of items:Crispy Chicken Sandwich ("toasted bun, breaded n' fried chicken thigh, lemony schmaltz mayo, lettuce, dilly labneh, pickles, choice of side"). This is a decent if unspectacular 'wich. The chicken was cooked very well, admittedly, but the other components were so sparingly applied that I could barely taste them, to the degree that it really tasted like a fried chicken sandwich with zero toppings on it. I could've used more crunch on the chicken itself, too.Blueberry Halva Pancakes ("buttermilk pancake stack, orange blossom ricotta, lemony blueberry, halva crumble, pure hockley valley maple syrup"). This was definitely the clear winner. It's an enormous portion of pancakes, and everything works so well together, and the included halva crumble really gives the whole thing a distinct, different flavor. It's incredibly sweet, however, and it ultimately feels more like a dessert than a main.I enjoyed my meal at Good Fork, although there are some things here and there that could easily be tweaked.
Be the first to ReplySolid, dependable brunch spot.
Tasty food with a middle eastern focus. Pancakes are ok, topping on them is amazing. Lots of space for a Toronto restaurant and beautiful inside. I wonder how they pay the rent only doing brunch and closing at 4pm. The drip coffee is too complex for my liking, tastes like burnt beans.
Be the first to ReplyMiddle Eastern-inspired fare, and overall pretty tasty.
On weekends, they do not accept reservations, but they do offer a waitlist option through Yelp. An automated text was sent to alert me to check in within 10 minutes; however, the host sent a text that was slightly unprofessional a moment before I arrived, and before the 10 minutes had passed. After checking in, I was informed that both myself and my guest needed to be present prior to being seated. I understand this policy if the restaurant is busy ... But it was half empty; plenty of tables were available. We were promptly greeted upon arrival, and the service from that point on was incredibly friendly and efficient. Our water glasses were never empty, and I had sufficient coffee refills as well. I ordered the Good Forkin' Morning and opted for the grilled halloumi cheese - I am now realizing I should have checked if the cheese was a substitution for the bacon because I did not receive the bacon. My guest chose the Crispy Chicken Sandwich - no complaints! Overall, the restaurant looks great, and is the top selling point in my opinion. Furniture choices are clean and visually appealing, along with all the decor. I may revisit in the future to try other dishes or beverages, but it's not currently one of my top choices.

Food, presentation and service! Big fan of the Hummus Bowl.

Great presentation. Appreciate the fresh veggies with each plate. And love that it's not a super pretentious place. Probably the best labneh I have had yet

Service is horrible, specifically a Chinese girl who is rude and inconsiderate of the customers. If you aren't able to provide good customer service, simply don't work at a restaurant. We were on the waitlist and made it 5 mins past our time and she refused to seat us and refuse to listen that we were stuck in traffic. Every restaurant has a grace period of 10 minutes.
Be the first to ReplyThe service and food was very good.
The only turn off was that we couldn't make a reservation, and when we arrived at the restaurant the hostess told us we couldn't wait in the waiting area but had to wait outside. They were very few people in the waiting area, and we felt The hostess could've delivered the message in a more informed way it would have made more sense.
Be the first to ReplyFood wasn't anything to write home about.
Unique bites, small plates. Servers were nice but inattentive. Had to go get my own bill at the counter after waiting 20 min trying to get someone's attention.
Be the first to ReplyLooking for an aesthetic place to get brunch? Good Fork
Looking for an aesthetic place to get brunch? Good Fork should definitely be one of your options. It's a Turkish restaurant selling breakfast and lunch plates in Brockton Village. My sister and I are brunch fanatics and heard good things about this place so we decided to head downtown to give it a shot. It was fairly busy for a Monday afternoon so I would assume that weekends here get PACKED. We ordered a bunch of things to share: Spanish hash, simit which, and blueberry pancakes. The simit which is a tough bagel-like bread with smoked trout and whipped cream cheese. It's definitely a heavier sandwich so I would recommend getting a salad for your side instead of fries (which is the other option). The cream cheese was very mild and I liked the addition of capers. It added little pops of saltiness that complimented the dish well. The spanish hash was absolutely delicious! The chorizo was great and it had a bit of spice to it, but not so much that it was unbearable. It was my favourite dish out of the two.And finally, the infamous blueberry pancakes. It's funny because there was a lady beside me COMPLAINING about how everyone orders the pancakes here. So we ordered them partly because we wanted to try them, but also to spite her. Pancakes did not disappoint. The were so many flavours it was like a party in your mouth. There were hints of citrus, nuttiness, and even a slight floral taste. Overall it was delicious and well worth the hype, though the pancakes itself were a bit denser or cakier than I was expecting. It's also on the sweeter side, so I wouldn't recommend adding any of the syrup that they give you as it is sweet enough on its own. I'd say from the one experience I had here today, that this place is well worth the hype. Great atmosphere and interior design, friendly staff, and for the most part, delicious tasting food.
