OMG you must visit
From the moment we walked through the door the experience was exquisite, the food was amazing and I’m not sure what some of the reviews are talking about we left absolutely stuffed,! The wine pairing was fabulous and the skill from the chefs... mind blowing;. Adam is obviously super talented as are the whole team. Well done and we will see you very soon, x

Absolutely love this place! I've been a few times through the years and I have seen how much the team has worked to achieve this truly impressive level. Their sustainability ethos is everywhere and the restaurant and bar work together to reduce all waste possible while delivering exceptional service. All this while making you feel so at home and at ease, you can enjoy Michelin starred food while feeling like you're at a friend's house having a great time. This is also given by the absolutely lovely people that run the place: from the first smile you see when you go through the door to the bar team taking care of your after dinner drinks, I just want to never leave really. Did i mention there are counter seating so you can literally see the chefs cooking and playing up your food? L O V E. Can't recommend this place enough, it's a home away from home.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible
I’m utterly appalled, they left the intestinal tract in the lobster. Staff were nice but cooking not what you would expect from such a highly regarded restaurant
Be the first to ReplyHighly anticipated, thoroughly let down
This is not a cheap restaurant and is apparently Michelin star quality however my experience and that of the people I was with was one of utter disappointment. The front of house guy in charge was thoroughly up himself and came across as egotistical and rude. The food itself looked amazing to the eye but unfortunately this didn’t continue to impress on the palette, flavours, seasoning and texture was lacking with some dishes leaving a horrible gloopy coating in the mouth and the desert was overset with gelatine leaving it rubbery. The sommelier was informative and friendly however had a tendency to push the more expensive wines however this could just be a coincidence and his approach was the only positive I could give to the frog. If you’re looking for a special meal I’d be going elsewhere. On a positive note the attached cocktail bar (under the restaurant) was amazing!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Restaurant.
Wonderful restaurant, an absolute gem, just a shame they charge £2.50 per person for tap water, felt like I'd been scammed. So totally against the whole experience.
Be the first to ReplyGreat components, mediocre dishes
I had an overall pleasurable experience visiting frog by Adam handling. The presentation and specific components that went into the food were amazing, however the end product with all the components together was mediocre for most dishes. For this price range and a michelin star, I expect each dish to be perfectly balanced in terms of flavour. However, I found that most dishes were over complicated and missed that oomph and homeliness, which I would expect especially when the restaurant is presented as a trip through the chef’s memories. I’m sure the food from Adam’s experiences had that deliciousness that the food we were served was missing. Although the overall experience was good, the food was underwhelming.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing, total rip off
I am not usually the one to post very negative reviews , but our experience yesterday was simply terrible. The food was very pretty looking and tasted good but it was absolutely tiny. We all left hungry. The most shocking part of the lunch experience was the alcohol. Without being shown a wine list we were offered the most expensive champagne and the most expensive white wine on the menu at £920 a bottle... We just assumed that it was the food pairing option, but when the bill arrived we were horrified. The service charge for 12 people came in at £408 which we feel we shouldn't have been charged given our awful experience. Eventually the restaurant accepted that we were never given an option to look at the wine list and presented us with a discounted bill. Hopefully I will never have to return to that place. Shame really as we were all looking very forward to it.

Just as I was starting to lose faith in the London restaurant scene, Frog demonstrated that not only can the food be innovative, surprising (!), seasonal, flavourful and look like artwork; but the staff are professional, knowledgeable, attentive (without being intrusive) and have top banter too. Get a counter seat if you can. I'd happily come back here again and again.
Be the first to ReplyShame about the wine waiter
We had a lovely evening at The Frog recently, the food was really exceptional and made a great experience. The only downside was one of the wine waiters who asked if we wanted a glass of champagne at the beginning of our meal, didn’t give us a wine list then poured us the most expensive one on the list at £50 a glass! We never would have picked that or spent that much on a single glass of champagne and felt quite cheated by that member of staff. We had such a nice meal we didn’t want to make a scene at the end but it has made me wary of recommending the restaurant.
