Nice guide tour
Mike is friendly and gives a nice talk tour especially for international visitors. Recommend this tour 🤗
Be the first to ReplyWonderful coach trip/tour
Very comfortable and short coach ride from London. Valentina and Neil we so helpful, especially with my mother who has limited mobility. The tour of Oxford and the studios was fascinating. The coach ride itself was very enjoyable. The the studio tour rivals Universal Orlando for fans of the movies. Overall a lot of value for money.

Our guide Rachel was very energetic and brought a very positive vibe into the whole trip. In Oxford we had a lovely tour guide named Chris, who also did a great job in my opinion. Generally a very nice experience and both me and my wife had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic trip with the super driver John and the very informative and humoristic guide Mike, who with all his stories made the journey seem much shorter
Be the first to ReplyA life-time experience with history, eternal and tangible!
We had an excellent, a memorable, combined visit to Oxford and Cambridge. The guide was lways at the mike ever since the bus left London (Buckingham Palace Road) and every bit of the historic city was explained in a lucid manner by her. She seemed to be a movnng encyclopedia and was pleasant, helpful and always sporting an intelligent smile all through. Oxford was our first destination and much before we reached the periphery of the great University, we were told in clear terms the genesis of the University, its stature, the number of Colleges that remains under its supervision, etc. So too was the case with the Cambridge University. My visit to Stratford upon Avon was on another day and that too remains fresh and green in my memory. The oft-repeated saying that "Next to God, Shakespeare has created the most!" was ringing within me and it was with such an awe that I went around with other tourists to see the place one the great poet-dramatist lived and reigned in his own manner. One was amazed as to how a person could acheive so much during his a little-over-fifty years of sojourn on this earth!

Had a wonderful experience! Loved small group format! So much better than large tour buses, in my personal opinion. David was our guide, and EXCELLENT! Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He is very experienced and that is apparent in his enthusiasm! Loved that we were provided history for each of the sites and given the opportunity to explore on our own. Thank you International Friend! Highly recommended!

Everything was superb and ran on time! The tour guides were fantastic - the Oxford tour was just enough to encourage us to come back and really explore that area. The time at Warner Bros. Studios was perfect - enough time to take it all in - and time to just sit and be still enjoying a butter beer. Well done!

Our guide Amber is the best guide I’ve ever had in 50 years of traveling. She is incredibly engaging, funny, kind, informative AND she knows when to stop talking. What could be better for a Downton Abbey tour than a transplanted American Anglophile with a great sense of drama and humor. She created an environment of camaraderie with the other guests. The day was jam-packed and delightful - a thrill for Downton lovers.

We had a tour cancel with another provider a day prior and rebooked with international friends last second through TripAdvisor. Not only was it more cost effective but one of the most organized tours we’ve been on. They got us to Stonehenge early allowing us to get public free pictures. The tour guide’s knowledge of Bath was amazing and kept us engaged.

Fantastic place, the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves! from the start of the visit there was always something else exciting them,.

Mike our tour guide and Atilla our driver were fantastic and we truly enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend them both!!!!
Be the first to ReplyStonehenge - Inner Circle tour the way to go.
I did the "inner circle" tour of Stonehenge and it was definitely the way to go. Stonehenge and the history was really amazing, but the ability to walk amongst the stones was fantastic. The stop off at Bath and Lacock were great additions to the trip also. Our guide and driver (Leon and Mo) and were helpful and informative. Side note: I was travelling solo, which was fine for the tour, but booked the evening viewing for Stonehenge, which meant arrival back at 10pm and night. This is important for travel back to my accommodation as I was not comfortable taking the underground alone that time of night. Uber to the rescue. :-)
Be the first to ReplyFull day excursion.
My daughter and I were on the Full Day excursion. Early start from the British Museum at 7am & off we went with 15 other travelling companions under the guidance of Mike & driver DJ. We could not praise Mike highly enough. He is a mine of current and historical information, delivered at ease throughout our long day. He could place significant events and customs of "Downton Abbey" in context of its time in history and the culture and customs of the day (As we travelled he brought us back as far back as Celtic and Saxon times). A long day, but broken by well timed breaks. We were so pleased with our stop at Cogg's Farm (Yew Tree Farm) (alas service friendly but very slow and the village of Bampton. Only ground & 1st floor of the house available ("Downstairs" is actually filmed in Ealing Studios. Very disappointed having decided to treat ourselves to food at Highclere, food available was extremely poor - no better than what was on offer at random roadside stops. 1 wrap, 1 panini, one soft drink & 2 packets of crisps - £23!! The gift shop very very disappointing. It is all about Highclere and nothing about Downton. We would have given full marks were it not for the disappointing standard of food on offer in the "Tea Rooms". Don't arrive feeling hungry - or else be prepared to be underwhelmed. Even "Afternoon Tea" is carried in a colourful cardboard box to your table. Not at all what I would have been happy with had I booked it. Maeve from Ireland

My daughter and I were celebrating our birthdays....2 years postponed! We were on the Full Day excursion to Downton Abbey. We had an early start from the British Museum at 7am & off we went with 15 other travelling companions under the guidance of Mike & driver DJ. We could not praise Mike highly enough. He is a mine of current and historical information, delivered at ease throughout our long day. It is a long day, but broken by well timed breaks. We were so pleased with our stop at Cogg's Farm (Yew Tree Farm) and the village of Bampton. The visit would not have been nearly so worthwhile without those 2 stops. You see the ground and 1st floor of the house. (It is worth being aware that "Downstairs" is actually filmed in Ealing Studios - so no chance to sit in Mrs Patmore's chair). Our only disappointment was having decided to treat ourselves to food at Highclere, food available was extremely poor - no better than what was on offer at random roadside stops. 1 wrap, 1 panini, one soft drink & 2 packets of crisps - £23!! The gift shop very very disappointing. It is all about Highclere and nothing about Downton. Maeve from Ireland
Be the first to ReplyKind and wise Guide, great schedule and Nice van
We did the Stonehenge, Bath, Windsor Tour. Mike, our Guide, made the difference in these experience. Meanwhile the travel, he explained a lot of things about the history of the places, in a good humorous way. The Schedule was nice, we became to Stonehenge when it was opening, and to Windsor when the crowds where already gone. I recommend this tour!
Be the first to ReplyA Peaceful Day Away from London
This was an outstanding day! Our guide Mike was fantastic and he had so much knowledge to share with us and he made sure we all had our questions addressed. My wife and I felt very comfortable on the trip and Mike’s info sharing prepared us to better enjoy the sites. The drive through the English countryside was beautiful and is what we imagined it looked like. The day started out promptly at 730am at our meeting location which was easy to get to. The tour van was comfortable and was not over crowded at all. The entire group consisted of 10 guests and we all had room on the tour van. We drove to Oxford to pick up another traveler and to stretch out legs (about 75 min drive). We then headed to the Cotswolds and stopped at a a few villages to look around for a few moments. We then arrived to our main town for lunch. The lunch was basic (chicken for me and my wife is Gluten free so they prepared her a separate dish). We had plenty of time to walk around the town - make sure you go to the church in town as it is quite impressive and from the 12th century. We also grabbed a Pint at a small pub near the pick up point while we waited. We then headed off to the Palace. It was impressive! Tip - bring your IPhone and headphones as the audio tour is only available via an app you download (unlike most of the venues in London that provide an audio guide) - I left my earphones in my bag in the van…. We felt we had plenty of time at all of the venues. On our drive back, our guide, Mike asked us all what topics we wanted to hear about on the way back - it was impressive his depth/breadth of knowledge (or at least his confidence in delivering it! :))…. Vugar was our driver and he was a kind man and his driving was superb. At no time did we feel unsafe. We appreciated his smooth driving and ability to get us as close as possible to our drop off/pick up points. Overall, I highly recommend this for a great day outside of the crowds of London.
Be the first to ReplyA magical trip to Harry Porter film making studio and Oxford.
We really enjoyed the trip and we are lucky to have Rachel as our guide, who is energetic, cheerful and very professional. She explains everything clearly and made us really enjoy the trip. The only pity is we don’t have sufficient time in Oxford. Next time, I will plan a whole day to Oxford if I can. ( we are a family with a teenager and a small child, both of them enjoy the trip)
Be the first to ReplyGreat Tour To Stonehenge
My grandson and I went to London on his college Spring Break. The top place he wanted to visit was Stonehenge. I looked at more affordable options but since this was a "once in a lifetime" experience, I opted for this tour. I am glad that I did!
Stonehenge was our first stop. We had
While we enjoyed each place we visited, the tour guide was what made this trip very special. His name was "Madge" (I hope that I spelled that correctly). He was knowledgeable, witty, entertaining and it was clear that there was nothing he wanted more that for us to have a good experience! He welcomed questions and patiently answered each one. His knowledge was encyclopedic.
Great experience
Paul was a good driver and Debby gave us a nice tour of Oxford. As a lifelong resident of Oxford, Debby was very informative and interacted very personably with guests. As a die-hard Harry Potter fan, I felt that this tour gave me enough time to take it all in.
Be the first to ReplyBest Day Ever.
This was a excellent trip. You don’t even have to be a huge Harry Potter fan to enjoy. The pick up and drop off by the luxury bus was comfortable and very easy. We were able to drive outside of the city of London and seeing other parts of London. The studio was just fascinating to learn how long the actors were pretty much living there how small the sense that they work on to what you actually see on the big screen. I would definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyMagical busy day
we booked this tour for October and had a good time although with some hiccups. Our group was small to my surprise (so no coach bus) but our driver was a funny guy so made the drive a good time (it’s a bit of a drive btw). We lost about an hour and some of our “tour” due to traffic and felt we were rushing in our Oxford trip. Our tour guide was great but although not many things of HP were shown on the tour more so about the historical history (was was great too but perhaps for another tour). We got to spend some free time but only enough to stay in the city center. Some things to take note of is some of the areas are blocked off due to the pandemic hence you see areas from the outside. Warners was amazing, you take yourself on your own tour which is nice, lots too see and do. We had about 4hrs. We left there satisfied but also wanting todo it again as since it’s the first time we were more so focused on pictures, timing and see everything rather than soaking it all in. With that being said if I were todo this again I would do both on separate days to really take in all that Oxford, warners have to offer and really explore!
Be the first to ReplyLondon made easy
We (3 little old ladies) booked a cruise out of Southhampton and decided to go a couple of days early to spend time in London. I found the website for International Friends and booked a package that included picking us up at Heathrow and delivering us to our hotel - booked through them and including breakfasts - a full day tour the second day, and transport to the port via Stonehenge the third day. We received excellent service from the IF staff, a tour guide who was truly a pleasure, and we felt comfortable that even though we didn't know just what we wanted to see or how to get there, we were being totally taken care of. We also felt that the price we paid for all we got was reasonable and well worth it! I totally recommend International Friends to everyone.

Fantastic tour. Our guide and driver were very entertaining, knowledgeable and simply wonderful guides to all of our stops! I would definitely recommend!!
Be the first to ReplyAsk for Debbie to be your guide
I took my mom to London and we signed up for this amazing tour at the last minute. We were fortunate enough to have Debbie as our Oxford guide. She was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour as fun as it was informative. I’m writing this review more than two years after we went but based on other reviews, I can see that Debbie is still there, so request her to be your guide if at all possible. At the time we went, they had us waiting right near Green Man Pub and the process of boarding the bus was really easy.
The drop down menu won’t let me put the accurate date which was November 24, 2019, so I listed 2020. The lady in the red coat is Debbie :-)
Excellent service
The owner is the best I’ve ever seen, extremely helpful! Bravo! In touch for 24/7! The service was excellent! Highly recommend❤️
