A cute restaurant in Boston seaport area that wasn't super hard to make a reservation for a Saturday night. We ordered most of the things on the menu, my favorites were the escargot toast and the arugula salad. The main dishes were good, the salmon and chicken had great flavor but it wasn't the most unique items on the menu. Overall really good drinks and food, great for a date night!

I mean they plate it fancy so it's gonna be pricey whatever BUT MAN if you DON'T get the creme brรปlรฉe you will die unhappy. The duck and oysters were pretty good. My waiter was nice. Creme brรปlรฉe creme brรปlรฉe creme brรปlรฉe GOGOGOGO
Be the first to ReplyWorst dining experience I have ever had.
Felt like I was being pranked. Sat at bar..woman whispered with heavy accent and never looked up...kept running to the manager who looked equally lost...first they only had brunch, then they gave us dinner menus and after both courses of my wife's food came and she ate I was told sorry nothing "hot"...would not go back at gunpoint

The food was so good! Came here on a Friday night with a party of 6. We had a res, but it took some time for us to get seated because the restaurant was super busy. We started off with a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board- both were amazing. The server was super nice and helpful when it came to us making selections. My entree was the steak frites which was a 10/10 for me. I can't wait to go again and try different food on the menu. The restaurant is on the small side. There's a bar with a view of the kitchen, tables, and extra seating in the greenhouse. It being so busy was overwhelming because there were people walking in every direction and there wasn't much room to stand if there's a wait. I'd recommend making a reservation.
Be the first to ReplyQuaint, yet slightly loud place for brunch.
Menu was available with a QR code. The nutella crepe was sooo delicious and they allowed me to swap the bananas for strawberries :)Service was great. Very busy by 12 on Sunday so you definitely need a reservation.
Be the first to ReplyI would avoid it.
Quite expensive for what it is. 14 dollars for one slice of not amazing avocado toast? Crowded and noisy. If you can't get a table anywhere else it is ok. Basically less preparation, more money and smaller portions than anywhere else. Oh- and the tables are so close that you can't slide into your booth disturbing adjoining tables. Very annoying and ungracious.Added percentage for kitchen staff. I agree with that but not necessarily for places with a 14 dollar slice of toast with some avocado spread on top. With both neighboring tables a few inches next to ours on either side.Everybody needs to make a profit. Yet this place is over the top giving you the vibe of- we are trying to squeeze as much money from you as we can get.
Be the first to ReplyFrenchie is so good and one of my favorites in Boston.
It's the cutest little space and perfect for a friend date or date night on a weekend. They were great at offering suggestions and pairings. The service was amazing and food was spectacular. Definitely recommend!

I've sworn off writing on Yelp because yelp decided to remove (they say I violated something which I didn't and there's no recourse with them) my status (if that's such a thing) of Elite. At first, I loved Frenchie Wine Bistro and then I hated it and will never return but for others, I am leaving a 5 star review because it was kinda worth the 5 stars. New Year's Eve dinner for 3, bottle of Vueve Cliquot which was warm so it needed 10 minutes to chill, no big deal. Our waiter, Frank, was awesome. He came back with it, tried to open it but it bubbled, still warm. A little while later we started to enjoy our Champagne. The prix fixe menu was perfect, great choices and the three of us at the table all chose different items for all the courses. Very nice and well thought out. Love the food. Where did they go wrong? ?The add on percentage for the kitchen staff. I don't care if it's 3% or a straight fee, it's not my choice, like ordering the food on the menu is, like ordering a bottle of champagne is, like the percentage I tip the waiter (which is always generous) but it's not my choice. It just appears on the bill. Welcome to 2023 here's a surcharge, a tax an involuntary option for you in the new year! Yes, I am pretty sure I could have spoken to a manger on the holiday night of New Years Eve and had it removed. I am sure it's something people do and maybe they remove it but I've decided , much like hotels that charge a nightly resort fee, that I will not return. No matter how great the food was, the service or the warm bottle of champagne I just can't do it. There's plenty of other epic places to dine and stay. I can't find it even mentioned on their website which I've perused extensively. My trip to France next month was not going to be complete without staying or at least visiting their family hotel and restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyCame on Saturday for a birthday brunch for 7.
Inside was very trendy with lights, flowered wall paper and a fun bar. Very intimate small area with a back enclosed patio area. Service was great and checked in with us often. One member of our party has severe food allergies and staff was attentive and accommodating. Raspberry beer was a favorite on the drink menu and the French potato's were very delicious. Great for brunch with friends.

We wanted to stuff our face at brunch and nothing on the menu was super appealing. Everything looked amazing and then it was meh. The fries (best thing on a brunch menu) were hard and cold and clearly had been cooked the morning of or the day before - embarrassing. We ended up getting salads and having 3000 drinks to forget what we we enduring. Looking back, it was alright because I had to get wasted so I was hungry
