4 Seasons BBQ brunch
We didn't stay but had the seafood BBQ Brunch. Wonderful food and staff. The lobster tail was great and the selection of sweets unbelievable The views are amazing from the seafront tables. They have the BBQ brunch once a month and would certainly recommend if a resident or on holiday.
Be the first to ReplyMemorable Babymoon
Can you make this into a more refined and better review? My wife and I stayed at four seasons Anguilla for our babymoon for four nights and we loved our stay. We stayed at another property on the island and while each is different and has a different vibe, both are special and unique in their own way. For a rather large hotel, the FS did an exceptional job of knowing each guest and making them feel at home. The property is stunning, particularly the adults only pool where we spent a lot of our time. We also appreciated that you could walk on the beach to nearby restaurants. Yes, as other reviewers said, the hotel and food is very expensive, but you likely already know that going in. We did not dine at SALT for dinner but found all of the local recommended restaurants to be very good, particularly Blanchards and Veya among others. What makes this property stand out, however, is its staff. We would like to give an incredibly special thank you to Deejanay and Rakeedah for making our babymoon extra special - the personal touch really meant a lot to us and our upcoming addition to our family. They were both fantastic. The concierge also was very helpful and prompt. My wife and I also loved the pool staff - in particular Adrian and Dell. They were friendly, attentive and personable, and contributed to a positive environment and making guests feel at home. The staff at the sunset lounge, including Victoria, were also great. The lounge is a beautiful place to check out the sunset and grab a drink. A special thanks to the entire staff for creating such a memorable babymoon. We already can’t wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyAnguilla, Worth the trip
One of the most beautiful islands we have visited. The beaches are gorgeous. The hotel is fabulous. The staff was just as amazing! Our beach attendant Nordel, was exceptional, all of the beach attendants were wonderful. Yes, a little expensive for food and drink. Loved the live music at the bar in the evening. Highly recommend this gem!
Be the first to ReplyGelatto in Anguilla
If you're in Anguilla stop by the Four Seasons at Barnes Bay and be prepared for the for the BEST gelatto outside of Italy. The Four Seasons should definitely consider matching it up with a gelatto milkshake to go with their delicious hamburgers.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect
Absolutely one of the greatest experience in a hotel. Location is perfect, staff wonderful and the whole atmosphere is vibrant. Weather conditions are normally really good even we had some showers. Breakfast location is super and breakfast has everything you need and more.
Be the first to ReplyLUXURIOUS, ELEGANT & BEAUTIFUL
My husband and I just returned from an absolutely amazing 10 day stay at the Four Seasons Anguilla! This resort is truly remarkable on so many different levels. First of all, you have the beauty of the Caribbean Sea with unsurpassed, clear, blue water and pure, white sand and then you have an immaculate 5 star LUXURY Four Seasons property…. right in between two of the most desirable beaches in the Caribbean, Barnes Bay beach and Meads Bay beach. Add in remarkable service, attention to detail on every level and delicious, exciting food and drinks and you have the perfect magical spot! I’ll start my review with our arrival at the Four Seasons. As Four Seasons followers for many years now, this was our fifth extended stay at a Four Seasons property within the last calendar year…. we expect the best and we are never disappointed… however, this resort is extra special. The resort itself is perched on somewhat of a cliff nestled between two beautiful beaches. Meads Bay beach on one side, which is probably the most beautiful beach I have been to in my visits to 17 islands of the Caribbean. Crystal, clear water, and pure, white, sand. On the other side of the resort, is Barnes Bay Beach which is a narrower beach but absolutely beautiful. Each offer a different type of atmosphere…. Which was delightful! The rooms are scrupulously clean, and modern, with very comfortable beds and linens. We had an amazing direct view of the ocean, with a very large outdoor lanai and a plunge pool, which was wonderful for taking a dip in the morning once you turned on the heater to warm it or a late evening soak. Housekeeping was attentive, reliable, and did not taper down towards the end of the stay, as you sometimes see even at luxury resorts. On our first day, we asked that ice be delivered to our room at a certain time each day and this was done every day exactly as asked. The food at this resort is also outstanding. Chef Emmanuel Calderon is an amazing executive chef, and his attention to detail and attentiveness is clearly evident in the food being served. We would see him almost every day, talking to a lot of the restaurant staff, Interacting with them and working together at a level I’ve never quite seen. If you get a chance do the Monday night beach barbecue, it is a lovely affair. It is held on Meads Bay Beach right in the sand and it is decorated up beautifully with a delicious buffet of local dishes and resort favorites alike, with live music, and being under the stars…. It was one of our favorite evenings! There’s nothing like eating delicious barbecued chicken, beef tenderloin and local veggies while drinking wine and listening to a local band crooning Caribbean favorites in the background….also…I’m still dreaming about the Lobster Mashed Potatoes at Salt. To die for!!! One of the things that I think truly sets this resort apart was the staff. Therefore, I will spend part of this review, acknowledging some of them. There were so many that I wish to mention I will just start in, so this review may bounce around a bit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the beautiful Ghislane in reception. Within moments we were settling back on the comfortable sofas, in the Airy lobby, sipping rum punch, followed by glasses of champagne. Ghizlane is delightfully outgoing and accommodating, volunteering to upgrade our room since it was our wedding anniversary! She then proceeded to walk to the room with us, and completely show us around the interior, and make sure all our questions were answered. Many times throughout our stay I would stop by the front desk to visit or briefly chat with her and she always took time to ask how our trip was going, and if there was anything she could do to assist in making it more enjoyable. The Sunset lounge is a truly remarkable lobby bar/lounge. The bar itself is kind of the center of attention with a main, beautiful pool on one end of it and extravagant sunset viewing areas surrounding it like I’ve never seen. The staff here is all amazing. Darren is an outstanding bartender, attentive, easy to talk to, and very good at making delicious drinks. He has this professional ease about him. Trevel was also at Sunset, she was just so delightful… always calling us by our names and interacting, eager to engage with a huge smile on her face while offering exceptional service. The Sunset pool had some pretty awesome people too…Adrianne is probably one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, he was literally jogging….taking orders, setting up towels…assisting guests with anything they desired, and all with a huge smile on his face, and so eager to be of assistance. Santiago, and “Good Vibes” Del -FANTASTIC!!! I wish to acknowledge Stephen and Cammi at the Aleta pool, where we spent several afternoons as well as enjoyed lunch by the pool, and both offered up, superb and attentive service. The Aleta pool is gorgeous… always seems kind of quiet, super clean and prestigious. Kind of feels like you are a celebrity laying beside it because of the cool atmosphere, for those of you that end up going to this resort, you will probably agree with what I’m saying once you experience it. Probably our favorite days were those spent down at Barnes Bay Beach. You could walk there or the valet staff would offer to drive you a couple minutes in the golf cart. The lunch restaurant there is named Half Shell, with delicious beachside food, wonderful lobster tacos, fish tacos, and an outstanding shrimp Caesar salad. We had many lunches there, enjoying a nice cold bottle of rosé, mere feet from the ocean. Very few resorts can boast of having a beach side restaurant with a view like this, but still with this level of service. This delightful beach restaurant seemed to run seamlessly under the watchful eye of Dennis, the manager. Allison, our most often server was just delightful. She sent me home with a bottle of her homemade delicious hot sauce, which I’m still enjoying. The beach attendants at Barnes Bay were fantastic also, and we left with a lifelong friend, Romero. Romero waited on us almost daily. He would have our beach set up all prepared for us in our favorite spot each mid morning…, huge smile on his face, ready to serve us, and take care of us for as long as we were there. No task was too large, no ask was too small. He is an amazing employee and the Four Seasons Anguilla is very lucky to have him on their team. It is because of folks like Romero and Allison, and all the above mentioned that these type of resorts truly flourish. Another thing that is different about FS Anguilla is the amount of management presence that you see and feel every day. At almost any given moment, you could look around and see some type of member of management… either Food & Beverage Manager or assistant, Hotel Manager or assistant, Guest Relations managers, etc. etc. each of these individuals AND their ever present “serving attitude” with the guests and staff alike is what truly makes this resort exceptional. We carried on a long conversation with Tristan, the Food & Beverage manager, and he was eager to answer our questions, listen to our feedback and engage with us. We also had some wonderful conversations with David, Guest Relations manager, and his wonderful assistant Rochelle. Rochelle is the most elegant, lovely lady…. So professional…and helpful, always moving about the resort… always checking on the guests, making sure all the details are covered. She is just absolutely outstanding, and FS should be honored to have her on their team. A couple more things…We love that they bring in local Bands several nights a week to play music in the Sunset lounge. This was always delightful to listen to in the evenings after dinner, while enjoying a few of the delicious cocktails or “another” glass of wine. I’ve read several reviews where people whine and complain about how loud the music can be, however I largely disagree, our room was relatively near the Sunset lounge, and we can’t say that it was bothersome in any way, in fact, I would suggest to those guests complaining that perhaps one more glass of wine would be a perfect remedy if that was indeed an issue! 😆 Another thing I wish to address due to a previous review about this FS, is that although this resort was indeed over 80% capacity while we were there, it was certainly not “overrun with children” as stated in aforementioned review. In fact, it seemed like there were very few children. Clearly the reviewer was only an “evening cocktail guest” and not a REAL in house guest….however I’m here to say NOTHING could be farther from the truth. (We have two kids of our own, and although they were not along with us, this resort is elegant and refined, and what kids were there were very well taken care of, and spending their time at the family pool!) We were there 10 days and barely seen but a handful kids on occasion. I could truly go on and on, but for the sake of time will close this. Before we left Trey, from the front desk, toured us a 4 bedroom villa, and we will be back very soon with our kiddos. If you want absolute luxury in the Caribbean, ATTENTIVE 5 star service, and a TRUE RELAXING vacation, you won’t be disappointed with Four Seasons Anguilla!
Be the first to ReplyOur family loved the Four Seasons!
This was our 3rd x to Anguilla but the first time at the Four Seasons. We went with my family - which includes my husband, who planned this incredible trip (*as well as all our trips!) and our twin 17 year daughters. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the 4 Seasons staff took the very best care of us - truly - from the check-in to all the staff on the premise! We stayed primarily at the adult pool and the service there was the BEST we have ever received at any hotel -- Del and Santiago were the nicest guys and treated us all so incredibly well. We never needed to ask for anything as they were always around and we loved getting to know them! The rooms were really nice but could use a bit of an update - loved the plunge pools in each room but we rarely used them. Another favorite of ours was having drinks (and the amazing sushi) at the Sunset Lounge each night before dinner and watched the sunset every night - which was just stunning. The Lounge was a great vibe and we also went there after dinner each night b/c they had incredible local bands playing every night --- we actually ended up making lots of vacation friends because the setting was so festive and we got to hang out with the same guests each night. By the time we left, the staff at the Lounge definitely knew us and also took very good care of us! It was also very nice to see the GM and managers around the hotel and we also got to know them as well - they have clearly created a wonderful culture for their employees and have also created an incredible community at the hotel for their guests. Food wise- breakfast buffet was like any other hotel and truthfully we would probably rather just order off a menu but that was not an option. Our favorite meals were at Half Shell on the beach -- the tacos were so good, we went back 2x. We had lunch once at Bamboo and was fine but would prefer the tacos. We never ate dinner at Salt, their signature restaurant for dinner as other guests told us it was just eh + overpriced, The Concierge's gave us great restaurant recommendations so we ate at Sharkey's, Blanchards (+ Blanchards shack for lunch - that was INSANELY good), and Picante which we ate at 2x - incredible mexican food with a lovely owner from CA - and you could walk from the hotel! The hotel overall was so beautiful and you would have never known it was almost at capacity -- with 3 pool options and 2 beach options, there was plenty to do and places to lay out etc. The service was truly amazing and we would 100% go back ---
Be the first to ReplyExceptional in every way!
This was our first time staying at a Four Seasons or visiting Anguilla. We found the resort to be welcoming and easy to navigate. The entire staff was exceptional and made sure we had everything we could want. The staff made every effort to ensure our satisfaction. The food was great both in quality and variety. The barefoot bbq on the beach was great event. At no time were we ever thinking that it could be better. The Four Seasons Anguilla team had thought of everything!!!
Be the first to ReplyFabulous resort and Island!
First, if I could give 6 Stars, I would. We travel worldwide and always winter in the Caribbean. The FS resort was beautiful and nicely laid out with plenty of activities all on the setting of gorgeous Meads Bay! The FS staff made us feel special, from David and Lorenzo who made sure we had a more than fantastic room (upgrade) to Ezekiel who made sure our spot on the beach was pleasant and we had everything we needed all day. We dined at their many restaurants and used their Spa (splurge for the couples massage - worth every penny!) and separate fitness center (to work off last nights dessert). All impeccable. We truly enjoyed the Aleda Pool as it tended to be quiet and was a great place to read Grisham's latest. Diego, and Cathlin and their teammates know how to pamper guest and make them feel they are there well taken care of. As to dining, in part, breakfast at SALT is a must do. Also is lunch at their two other beachside cafes. Sunset Lounge for drinks and sunset (hence the name) also is a must most evenings. Within walking distance via the beach are the restraints of Blanchards, Straw Hat and Jacala all of which are excellent. Off property by car try Veya.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Experience
My wife and I stayed at the Four Seasons Anguilla for 6 nights on our baby-moon and the staff made it a fantastic experience. Everyone at the resort is amazing, the hospitality is next level, I don’t know how but they remembered our names but most of the staff would address us as we would walk by. We were lucky enough to stay in the one bedroom sea-view suite which was an incredible experience. We had our own plunge pool/hot tub which we used every night and we really put to use during one rainy day during our stay. We tended to hang at the adult pool nearest sunset lounge as that was most our vibe but all of the pool options are great. There are a number of dining options that we would walk down the beach to. We ate at Blanchards, Celeste, Sharkys, Veya, and Sunset Lounge during our stay and all are recommended. The concierge helped us book the dinner reservations each night, helped us rent a moke one day, and booked us on a private boat to go to prickly pear caye and sandy island. They were so accommodating and helped us with last minute changes. Sometimes the pregnant wife had a last minute change of heart and they were happy to help :) . The resort is stunning and the staff makes the experience. It was a very relaxing vacation and if you’re looking to unwind it’s highly recommended. Thanks again to the Four Seasons staff and managers for an amazing trip!

We’ve been coming to the FS Anguilla property for the last 5 years and it never disappoints. Always perfection! Beautiful beaches (there’s 2), clean and well maintained sprawling property, great dining, excellent service and great spa.
Be the first to ReplyFour Seasons Anguilla
Hands down the best place to stay in Anguilla. Every meal was fantastic. We felt like every employee made it their mission to provide excellent service and remember our names. Can't wait to go back soon!

Loved the hotel! I stayed at Cap Julupa last time I was in Anguilla and that was great too but I enjoyed the Four Seasons more. The resort is beautiful, there was live music, the food was exceptional, everything was well done. The highlight of our stay was Denyinabid Heredia, the resort's assistant manager. She made sure that everything about our stay was perfect and even worked things out for us to stay in our same amazing suite when we decided to extend our stay (not an easy ask since it was president's week. Thanks Denyinabid! We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyHas to be one of the best in the world!
Stayed here for a week in July 2022. This property is truly spectacular, pictures hardly do it justice. There is beauty everywhere you look. Two wonderful, and different, beaches with warm, clear water are only the start. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking the ocean, it was amazing to wake up to this every day. Staff are amazing, always eager to please with a smile. We went to other resorts for meals/cocktails and always were happy to come back because FS is superior in every way. Having said all that there are a couple things to be aware of. It is, indeed, expensive to eat and drink. Other places on the island are expensive too though FS seemed to be the most expensive. There were also a lot of children. We travelled as a couple and would have preferred less or no kids. They were loud and took over 2 of the three pools. We could usually spread out enough on the beaches though. I really love Four Seasons resorts but really wish they catered a bit less to families and more to couples to give us more of a relaxing time.
Be the first to Replyanother amazing Four Seasons Property
from the moment we arrived - and throughout our stay - a genuine interaction beyond a five star resort - from staff/room/facilities/restaurants highly recommend and will be definitely returning and with our whole family would recommend for either just a romantic getaway OR a family getaway - areas and lots to do for all
Be the first to ReplyWonderful vacation!! Incredible hotel and staff!!
Outstanding as always!!! We love this place. I cannot imagine a more beautiful relaxing place!! The service is great and staff go out of way to help. The service at the adult pool is fantastic thanks to Del, Allison, Lou and others!! Rooms are super comfortable and clean. I really can't complain!! The managers always accommodate my daughters food allergies and are extremely friendly and attentive!! Just love everything about this place and I am fussy!! LOL

Spent 5 days as a group of 3 couples. From arrival to departure this place is on point. We were greeted immediately by Cathal and Lizbeth with warmth, welcome, and excitement. These are true professionals who really know how to make their guests feel special. So thank you to them. From the service at the restaurants, to housekeeping, to Billy and the staff by the beach, everything was perfect and done with a smile. The sushi at the Sunset Lounge is fantastic, the best we've had at any resort. Thank you also to David in Food and Beverage who we've known for many years and is a very special human being. If you're looking for a true 5 star stay in the Caribbean, this is your place.
Be the first to ReplyFine dining disaster!
Dined at Salt (the fine dining restaurant at this resort. I couldn't find it on trip advisor to rate restaurant on its own). We had a very romantic corner table with a view of the sea. However, it was like dining at Chucky Cheese! There were children of all ages seated throughout the restaurant. They were running around and crawling on tables and railings while the parents and staff had no care that they were annoying other diners. We dined here while the networks were down due to a break in the underwater cable. After confirming several times with resort/restaurant that credit cards would be taken, we were given a hard time and asked to use cash at end of evening. We had limited cash! It took 30 minutes to finally resolve so we sat at our table all this time watching the circus of kids but wanting to go catch the entertainment at Sunset lounge. Doubt we will return even though we are on island multiple times per year.
Be the first to ReplyThe neighbors are killing the vibe!
This is our 2nd day here, so we are still on property and I will update this review later. But right now, the loud obnoxious music from Savi Beach Club (next to hotel) is killing a relaxing beach vacation. Their loud bass thumping music kept our family awake until 1am last night. And this morning, we were enjoying a quiet beach day on Mead’s Beach, when promptly at 12pm, Savi starts their clubbing music again… I think Savi is relatively new. But man, I’ve stayed at plenty of Four Seasons and I’m really disappointed. So sad the neighbors are killing the vibe.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful resort and villas, some service misses and Resturant / room service shortcomings
We went to the Four Seasons Anguilla as a family of eight — six adults and two one year olds. We stayed in a five bedroom beachfront villa from January 29 - February 6, 2023. The resort and villa were beautiful. The Four Seasons service, while characteristically excellent sometimes, had some misses. The food was good, but the variety was a little lacking and several of our meals were not cooked quite right and the supervisor did not handle it very well. We are big Four Seasons fans and have stayed with the brand in more than 20 resorts worldwide. When the service is at its best, staff members anticipate what you need and offer it to you before you even ask. Other times, the service is responsive to your request. When you ask for something and it does not happen, that is a miss. We experienced very little anticipatory service here — no thoughtful little touches like a treat left in the room or check ins to see how we are doing. Our villa assistant, Jason, was very good when we asked for something. When he was not at the resort and we had to call or text the front desk, it was hit or miss. Several times, I asked for room service trays to be removed or to get more towels and it never happened. I had to ask again. That is a big fail for me. We also asked for our pool to be cleaned a few times and that did not happen until the last day. Service was also pretty slow. I think that is because the resort is understaffed. It is a huge resort spread across a lot of space with hundreds of room. They need a big staff and just do not seem to have it. One highlight on the staff was our housekeeping staff member, Augustina. She did a great job cleaning our villa. She was also friendly and responsive to our requests. We asked her to only clean certain rooms on certain days, and she was very accommodating. Many of the accommodations here are villas or residences with full kitchens and big tables that allow you to eat in your room. That means room service is critical. We found it lacking. The room service menu is pretty limited. Once you have eaten from it a couple of times, you have exhausted the menu. The room service was also slow. It always took at least an hour, and sometimes as long as 90 minutes. On several ocassions, we asked for something to be cooked well done for the one year olds. It did not come well done. It was red and raw in the middle — one time steak and one time salmon. One time, my wife called about it and the person she talked to was pretty rude, expressed disbelief and said “well, what do you want me to do about it?” That is just not the response we expected. The restaurants were good, but a little limited and also slow. We really liked the Shell Beach Bar. The Tacos and Calypso rice were delicious. SALT and the Sunset Bar and Grill had good food, but slightly slow service. There also was not a lot of variety. One other small example — one of our family members uses a heating pad to relieve pain to be able to sleep at night. She brought one with her. But when we got there, it did not work. I called and texted the front desk to ask if the hotel had one. They said it would take a while to find out. I didn’t hear back. I followed up and got a text that “no, we don’t have that.” No offer to find something else, procure one on the island, or provide something that could help. Typically, the word “no” does not exist at the Four Seasons. Here, it did. As a last comment, the beach in front of the villas (Barnes Bay) is not great for swimming. It is very rocky with rocks that are sharp in places and slippery in others. If you think you are going to walk down from your villa and enjoy a swim off the beach, you will find it is not as nice as the beach on the other side of the resort (Mead’s Bay), but that is a 15 minute golf cart ride. In all, the resort and accommodations are nice, but the service and some other factors were a little disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyFour Seasons Anguilla--a fantastic escape
The infrastructure is fantastic--well-appointed, streamlined in a way that is perfect for the feel of the island, clean, highly functioning, and a clearly put together with the vacationer in mind. As great as the infrastructure is, the people making up both the front-of-the-house and the back-of-the-house created, with the hotel and hotel amenities, a simply fantastc experience for us. Whether we were hanging by the pool, hanging on the beach, playing on the courts or just interacting with a member of the team on the sidewalk, the feeling of vacation happiness just remained and grew. The people in every function came to know our names on sight, which provides for a nice touch when visiting that type of place. Accommodations great, food great, proximity great, service great, vibe great. Special shout out to Roxanne, who greeted us at the start and saw us out at the end, and did nothing but make each of our days better. Santiago and the whole staff at the pool--superb. The spa and staff and professionals--superb. Just a great experience.
