Great spot for a date night or dinner with a friend, the restaurant is cozy and intimate with romantic lighting. Came in on a Friday night without reservations and were accommodated quickly by staff and were seated at the bar. We're given a mini bag of fresh bread and olive oil to enjoy as we waited for our appetizer and entrees.Started off our night with a glass of a crisp and light Prosecco and medium dry White wine. All wines are imported from Tuscany. The burrata was topped with fresh tomatoes and pesto perfect for a light appetizer. The tagliatelle sauce was perfectly creamy with a comforting richness. The pappardelle noodles were fresh and the meat ragu was savory and delicious. After we finished our handmade pasta we ordered the pana cotta, complimented with a perfectly sweet and tart berry compote and a light and fluffy tiramisu. The limoncello was sweet and strong, great for those who love lemon drops!

Fantastic new place in alphabet city, fresh handmade pastas, adorable "wine list" by showing you bottles of wine to select from. The place feels like a piece of Italy in NYC and has a very authentic rustic vibe, with wooden tables and chalkboard specials. Amazing pasta and service was super fast.

The service and staff is incredibly rude. My friend and I went with high expectations, but the servers who were waiting the outdoor patio at 8PM on Saturday 3/10 were extremely nasty- they made my friend cry because of how rude they were in their responses. We had asked for a little bit of extra bread 4 times and the waitress said it's up to her and the restaurant to decide who gets it. The Cacio E Pepe was subpar. I'm all for supporting waitstaff and am a consistent high tipper, but do better. At the least, be human.

One of my new go to handmade pasta spots! You HAVE to get their Cacio e pepe! My fav is from Padella in London and this one is almost the same and made with pici pastaThe tiramisu is also great, but the second time I got it the portion size was so small. We also tried the duck ragu - prefer the cacio e pepe over that but still good. Next time I want to try the truffle pasta I've been to both locations and might prefer the East Village location because it's slightly bigger and you can call ahead to make a rez! West village is first come first serve once your whole party is there Vibe of this place feels super authentic and similar to Bar pitti (another fav). Quick and friendly service (though the waiter didn't seem happy that I need chili flakes haha). Def come here!!

I truly cannot say enough about this place. Went to the East village location with a large group (reservation was made) in 2021 and the food, wine, and service were all impeccable. You can see the pasta being made and the flavors of each dish haven't been matched anywhere other than Italy. The portions this time were a normal size for one person, nothing huge but not too small.I went back recently in January 2023 to the Chelsea location (no reservations, very tiny--I mean maybe 4 tables in the whole place) and the food was still the same amazing flavor, but the portions I noticed were significantly cut down. You can't tell much in these photos because the plate sizes are much different. This was disappointing given that pasta is about the cheapest dish for a restaurant to make, but I will keep the 5 star review because the spaghetti pomodoro (in the background of the first photo) tasted like my Nonna's homemade sauce.

Amazing pasta and cosy atmosphere! I came here last night for dinner and the food was fantastic. We got the duck and beef ragu, a zucchini flan starter, and some panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered half a bottle of red for the table. I loved how the wine came in a basket for diners to choose from. The flan was surprisingly tasty and fun to look at! The duck was more deep in flavor than the beef ragu. Even the bread and oil/vinegar was well salted and had good flavor. Service was super quick as well. My only complaint is that service was a bit too quick in that we felt hastened to pay. I guess that's how you can tell we're in America instead of Tuscany. One note also that portion sizes are, in my opinion, just right; not generous, but not leaving you hungry.I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes and will be recommending this place to others!

I celebrated my 51st birthday here on the suggestion of a food influencer who lives across the street. @toomuchfood is a neighbor's daughter and she is one of the most reliable sources of information on food in New York and Brooklyn. The only thing you should know: THERE IS NO BOOZE. I'm glad I knew that because I rarely drink wine, and only if it's really extraordinary, picked by a sommelier at a restaurant or staff at a wine bar. And if I'd known, I would have missed this wonderful meal. The other thing to know: it's practically in the East River. The 600 block of 11th! You have to cab there but the FDR is not so bad and for special occasions, I don't mind taking a cab. 1. The star of the meal was Cacio e Pepe. One of the best I've had. 2. Papardelle with duck ragout fantastic. Not as good as the Cacio but still wonderful. 3. Zucchini flan appetizer was indescribably great and original. It's sort of like vegetable panna cotta (not quiche). I savored every bite. 4. Chicken liver appetizer is enormous, unusual, and great. It's hot and stew-like in texture, served with toast. I loved it. 5. . The service is a bit disorganized but everyone was really nice. 6. They have bring 8 bottles of wine by the glass to your table. Because my friends all have such different wine tastes, we stuck to glasses. The cabernet (or pseudo cabernet) was mediocre. The Primitivo was quite good. But this is not a place known for wine list. It's all about the food and it's VERY reasonably priced (due, no doubt, to being close enough for a strong wind to blow a thin woman into the river). I absolutely loved the evening and highly recommend. Cute inside too.

This cute little Tuscan restaurant tucked away in the recesses of Alphabet City was totally worth schlepping to! The space is charming. The staff were lovely, with Italian accents abounding. We were twice as old as the rest of the clientele. We were tucked into a table in the back of the restaurant, so as not to kill the buzz (ironically, the playlists were 1980's heavy). We got to watch the staff make fresh pasta and cut prosciutto, so that was fun. There's a small selection of wines. The corkage fee is only $25, so we brought our own. We started out with some typically salty Tuscan bread. The food was uniformly excellent. I tried the melt in your mouth prosciutto, the delicious artichoke salad, the well composed burrata salad and an order of gnocchi that we split as an appetizer. The pastas were insane! My wife and I split the very good pappardelle ragu and the ethereal, off the charts special of pasta with truffles. The truffle pasta was the best pasta dish that I have had in a really long time. Everybody else was equally happy. We rounded out the meal with tiramisu, shortbread and affogatos. The only possible negative about this restaurant is that there is a paucity of non pasta entrees, but that was OK with me.We had a great meal with great service and reasonable prices. Why put up with the snobbery at Rezdora when restaurants like this exist?

Go here for a real Italian experience with good wine and pasta. Order dishes you're not familiar with and don't expect too much
