We had a really nice meal last weekend at Etrusca.
The ambiance is super cozy and the food was fantastic. Who knew Fried Rabbit would be so delicious! Plus the chef came out and talked to our table. She was really nice and you could tell she had a real passion for the food and her restaurant. It was just one those places where everything feels really special. We will be back!

It was pretty nice overall, I would go again, but there were several negative points that they can improve on. I saw Sietsema's review on Eater and jumped on an evening rez.The Bone Marrow and Anchovy starters were really excellent. Unusual and interesting additions to both. We could have skipped La Tur - it is a nice creamy cheese but nothing super special despite the cocoa honey. The maccheroni pasta was excellent, a lot of very interesting subtle flavors. Sietsema described it as "laying down in a spring meadow" and I agree lol. The spaghetti was a miss really, just absurdly spicy so you couldn't actually taste the pine-nuts or other interesting promised botanical whatnots. The cocktails were very nice but a little uninspired (just standard negroni, martini offerings). Would have been cool to have the chef's botanical skills go into something funky. The desert was a miss as well unfortunately, kinda dry cake. The ambiance was cute and intimate, the staff a little unfriendly. Would go again, for a simple cocktail and the maccheroni.Paid low 200s for 2 people (3x starters, 2 mains, shared dessert, 2x cocktails).

I made a reservation with Resy for 8 people, but had to cancel it just a few hours later. Typically, restaurants that charge for cancellation clearly say that there willbe a charge for cancellation. But this restaurant hides that fact by saying there might be a charge for cancellation in small letters. They charged me $200 for cancelation. I emailed them to ask them if they can Waive the fee and I will make sure to dine at the place in future, but they did not respond. This is not how to build a loyal customer base. Very disappointing. BTW I had dined there before. Very average

Very overpriced and the dishes are subpar at best. None of the four dishes I tried was worth going back for. One of the pasta dishes (macceroni limone) was overcooked and essentially completely flavorless. Service is also not good.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, service and ambience.
Maccheroni Limone e Lavanda and Spaghetti Dell'Orto were great!

Cozy and ambient, but food is subpar; pasta was undercooked and breading on pigeon did not complement its taste.

Somehow found this place on Resy and yesterday was their soft open. The beef tartare was rustic, anchovies in salsa verde with Calabrian chili were the perfect combination. The midollo osseo roasted marrow bones were flavored well with enough marrow for the toast. I also enjoyed the lumache Al ragu, perfectly Al dente with the fresh oregano coming through. Looking forward to trying more dishes next time!
