Fast and attentive
After a warm welcome from the head chef, numerous beautiful and tasty dishes immediately began to be presented. We chose the vegetalia + cheese menu with different pairings: one based on non-alcoholic drinks and another with local wines. There are many dishes but the food is not heavy. And we ate very well, of course. The service, fast and very attentive.

Excessively loud music, unprofessional service, there is no sommelier or no one advised us on the choice of wines, the cutlery is not changed unless you tell them to and what happens is that they get mixed up when it comes to replacing them because there is no order, the The bases of the sauces are all similar, the menu is excessively long and there is a lot of hustle and bustle of staff that annoys the customers, the chef only said goodbye to the diners at the bar and the rest didn't even look at them, I don't know who gave them the Michelin star... they fail them many details not recommended
Be the first to ReplyAmazing. Go. Go. Go.
This is not just a restaurant. Itโs a magnificent culinary journey that is utterly unique. When you arrive they show you where the bathrooms are and suggest you wash your hands as the first few courses can be eaten with your hands. The service was impeccable. The young lady from Uruguay (I think) was amazing as were everyone we were served by. Their knowledge and service standards were just incredible. We had the vegetarian green menu with paired wines and drinks. From the licopene bread to the final morsel everyone of the 23 or 24 courses were marvellous. So many divine flavours and textures. Highlights included the rye matcha bread, carrot ice cream, amazing mushroom dishes (as it was mushroom season). The truffle dessert - yes black truffles on a dessert - was sublime. We had an enviable position where we could see the owner/head chef Rodrigo De Le Calle and his incredible brigade work so hard throughout the service to bring us such wonderful food. They work in a small space and with the serving staff it was great to watch how they worked in calm harmony. The team work like a well oiled machine that looks like incredible choreography. The chef came and chatted to guests. What a genius and so humble. What a talent. His ethos is simple. He wants to create the food he grew up with. Mainly eating vegetables hence the green menu, the blue with seafood as a seasoning or red with meat as a seasoning as meat and fish only figured occasionally in his families diet. The dishes are all spectacular bursting with flavour. Each more incredible that the last. We just loved our experience and if we lived in Madrid and subject to budget would be there regularly. This chef and team deserve more recognition. Itโs easily better than many two Michelin starred places Iโve eaten in and with less gimmicks and theatrics. What you can taste and experience is the love and passion that has gone into every dish and every moment of service. It was a remarkable evening. A memory that will last a lifetime. Go. Its amazing.

Be the first to ReplyThis tops my world-wide restaurant list!
This was one of the best meals of my life! Service was impeccable, plating artistic and gorgeous and an ambiance that is beautiful and relaxing. Itโs an excellent experience and feast for all the senses. More than worth the money and I would fly back to Madrid to eat here again!

You enter and see a bazaar of beautiful things, you leave and you still have the taste of acquired taste, the elegance of the service, the splendor of the furnishings, the taste of the table, the choice of every type of solution. It is and will be my restaurant in Madrid! Thank you
Be the first to ReplyBIKRAM diner in a 1 Michelin star restaurant
We were really excited to try the vegetarian menu in a 1 Michelin star restaurant. When we arrived we were first directed to the toilets, which seems very strange as this is not the first thing you want to be introduced to when you arrive in a restaurant. We felt like we were entering a sauna, it was so hot inside... Our friends already asked the waitress but she told them that the AC is working and its just because it is so hot outside, very strange explanationโฆ nothing can be done about it, but then brought a massive fan... Still we felt that it was really extremely hot and asked another waiter who told us he was sorry the AC didnโt work and that it was also hard for them as they were really hot... Surely the AC didnโt break 5min before diner service and we would have actually cancelled the diner if we knew that it was hotter inside than outside, that says a lot as we are in August in Madrid. No one want a 21 courses diner sweating at the table with a fan blowing on you. They then put the AC machine above us because we actually pointed at it and asked them which was actually blowing hot air, didn't make a big difference just more hot air blowing on us... The highlight of the night was the food, the wine and the water, everything was delicious and well presented, the different breads were delicious and the wine as well with very affordable price. Everything was going well until one of the waiter dropped a bowl on my wife shoulder while serving, the whole thing was on the floor. We got offered cheese which would have been amazing to try but with 35 degrees inside, we went straight to dessert. Which again was delicious. On the way out the waitress run to us saying that we havenโt paid the full bill, even though we actually left 14EUR extra, very embarrassing in front of everyone and also clearly they canโt do the maths. They didnโt even give a small discount or offered anything to apologise for the extremely hot conditions we had to eat our dinner, very disappointing for 1michelin star restaurantโฆ Great food but definitely not honoured by the restโฆ
Be the first to ReplyTruly awful customer service and difficult to contact.
Booked restaurant for dinner on March 8 but could not go because no taxis were available at all that evening; owing to sudden protests and demonstrations in Central Madrid. Restaurant charged credit card for Euro260 as per their policy, despite being informed of the problem (and seeking alternate dates) by concierge at Four Seasons Hotel where we were staying, who had to call many l times to get through. Restaurant also refused to shift booking to any alternative dates. I can't comment on food and service but the unhelpful, arrogant, difficult to contact and customer unfriendly approach of this restaurant make it certain that I will never want go here.
Be the first to ReplySympathetic to the aim, but bland food and poor service
As a vegetarian, I would love to promote this restaurant; sadly, I cannot. The food was bland and lacked seasoning in almost every dish. However, the biggest disappointment was in the service. My girlfriend and I visited on a Wednesday, which turned out to be a very quiet night for them. There was only one other guest in the restaurant, and they left at approximately 9:30pm. It was then painfully clear that the waitress wanted to get us out and finish for the day: twice(!) she attempted to remove my girlfriend's plate while she was still eating. While I'd be a little surprised for this to happen in a cheap restaurant, for a Michelin-starred restaurant to do this is unfathomable.

Dear Team, I was yesterday in "Coque" restaurant, and just wanna say, You absolutely deserve 2 Michelin stars as well. Congrats and thank you for this wonderful evening.
Be the first to ReplySuper night out
Food was superb, must have had 15 courses, with an interesting mix of paired drinks. Service was excellent and attentive.. Had the seats overlooking the kitchen which was amazing. Price very reasonable for a Michelin * restaurent.
Be the first to ReplyA meal to remember
A truly memorable dinner. We did the 15 course menu, which was primarily vegetarian, with some fish. From the minute we walked in, the experience started, with a home-made cocktail and blue spirulina water. We had no idea of what would be served, but each course brought out a beautiful bite, or dish, artfully presented. The staff did a wonderful time explaining each course to us. We were stuffed by the time we left, which ended with two desserts. The meal was not inexpensive, but so worth it!!!
Be the first to ReplyA perfect dinner, perfect service, perfect exeprience
This was our total 3rd Michelin experience, the first vegan one (the restaurant is basically non-vegan with a vegan option). We were totally blasted from the moment we sat: the waiter was fluent in English knowledgeable and professional, the blue water, the Kombucha drinks, the special breads and spreads...and obviously anything we tasted was both special and delicious. When they started serving I was sure I'll be hungry in the end since the serving were small, but I was so wrong. As wife puts it: A winning combination of sight and taste, playing with the textures of the food ingredients and creating interesting combinations . It felt like a perfect dinner and gave the waiter an appropriate tip. Thank you Covid for the opportunity too book only a month in advance!
Be the first to ReplyGlass debris found in food, terrible response
Unique presentation. Ok flavor albeit on the salty side. However, everything I enjoyed was marred by a glass shard found in my mouth whilst eating the final dish in the course.
The waiter had an aggressive attitude in apologizing; the overall response from the restaurant was incredibly disappointing (off the cuff verbal apology) based on my previous experiences with Michelin-starred restaurants and left a mark on what was supposed to be a special night with friends.
I will not be coming to this restaurant again and would not recommend to others.
One of Spain's best restaurants
Eating at Invernadero is an experience you will not forget. From the time you step into the restaurant, you know you are in a different place. Lots of different dishes centered mainly around vegetables (I realy mean lots).
Design of the dishes are superb and so are the combination of flavors. Champagne goes perfect with them. It is a must for foodies.
An unforgettable experience
What a wonderful evening--turns out I had ordered the complete vegetarian tasting menu (21 courses) online (I guess by default), and would recommend one of the shorter options (one can only eat so much!)--but the dishes were so delicious, light and healthy-feeling that we weren't dragging ourselves out of the restaurant after several hours. From the special water in clay cups (that you take home) to the mix of regular and house-designed wines and beverages, to the 21 offerings (not including amuse bouches and extra goodies at dessert), we were amazed at what appeared before us in a beautiful array of plates, bowls, cups, etc.--they must keep a very good map of these in the kitchen--and each was effortlessly served on time, by charming, helpful servers. The tomato bread (pan de licopeno) was divine--favorites also included the pumpkin puree; the tiny broccoli tops with kimchee; the beetroot tartare, the tear-shaped peas (my husband's favorite, along with the tomato bread), creamy fava beans--many more, I can't describe all the little special elements that went into each dish. We are not vegetarians per se, though we trend in that direction, and would maybe order the vegetarian and fish menu next time. Even a steak-loving person would have a wonderful evening here (there is a vegetarian and meat menu). We will try one of these options on our next visit to Madrid--and we offer an unqualified recommendation to anyone considering El Invernadero.

They take your credit card and you need to cancel 24 hours before; despite falling sick and I have a positive pcr to show they still charged me and no sympathy whatsoever
