Such a cute place! I visited the hamptons this past summer
Such a cute place! I visited the hamptons this past summer and it was recommended for me to try this place. I absolutely loved it. I tried a couple different oysters and the Beausoleil were truly the best! Easily the best oysters I've ever had. The view is really nice as the restaurant is right on the dock. The service was also nice. Everyone was so friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Be the first to ReplyFriendly greeting and wonderful outside table.
Food was delicious and service was perfect. Great long lunch!

Waited almost an hour and a half, everyone that came before and after had eaten and left. We had 5 people so I guess that was the issue.... no biggie, it was Labor Day weekend, and it was to be expected, but noticed that the hostess was seating people who just walk in, and one guy tried to give the hostess money. She saw that I was watching, and quickly denied the "tip." We were disgusted, so we left. No way to treat people who live here....
Be the first to ReplyThis place is definitely worth the hype that it gets.
You cannot beat the view! It is right on the water. We came at 5:30 on a Saturday night and had to wait two hours, but it didn't seem that long. We had plenty of time to walk down the dock to take pictures, and we were able to sit at a table inside. We ordered some wine and an appetizer while we waited. The food was delicious! I recommend the lobster Cobb, calamari, and lobster roll. We didn't realize we were sitting at our table a bit long, so one of the workers politely asked us to get up from our table, as they had 150 people still waiting. She gave us a FREE bottle of wine! It was very nice. 10/10 recommend!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful way to end the summer.
Sitting by the water enjoying some really delicious bites! The drinks were also very good. We order so much damn food lmao! Check the pictures out! If you are with a group of 4+ I recommend the lobster Cobb salad! Such a great table starter. The tuna dishes are also a great way to open up to anything else you may order! Enjoy the view, the service is also great. Can't wait to come back via the ferry which leaves right next to the restaurant!

The lobster roll is excellent - and expensive, at $45, but this is the Hamptons after all, beware! Not sure what they put in this, it's a one-of-a-kind experience. Maybe it does not have quite the refinement of the roll you'll get at The Bernardin in New York City or the pure freshness slash taste bud capital delight the roll you'll get at Neptune Oyster in Boston's North End, but it's truly an enjoyable ride. No need to order French fries with it by the way, the roll comes with chips that are good enough (but nothing to write home about) and not too salty. This said, the French fries make for another feast. The portions are massive and potatoes light and tasty. We did not order salads, but those likewise come in huge quantities and are quite appealing to the eye. Guests seemed to love them. The grilled swordfish with market veggies ordered by another party also looked delicious; we may consider next time. Not everything's nearly as good, though. The clam chowder was a disappointment, as was a shrimp dish, which my wife returned. Management was quick to take it off the check, and service was overall impeccable. The ambiance is pleasant and rather soothing, with drapes in lieu of a roof, all or at least most tables have great views of the surrounding waters, and you could nearly go for a swim between dishes. There is docking for customers only, on a first come, first served basis. The largest boat the restaurant can accommodate is 140 ft (mine is a Camray, no sweat!). Be the first to ReplyTheir service is a crap.
My best friend & I went there on a Tuesday night for dinner and they didn't entertain us. They just let us stay at the bar. AND THE WAITERS JUST KEEP PASSING US BY, TRYING TO GET THEIR ATTENTION BUT NOTHING. The host told us to go the bar straight. We left after 15mins minutes.
Be the first to ReplyRidiculous prices.
Ridiculous people. Great view. OoI guess you need to know what you want. There's so much attitude at this place. Squeezed into white jeans and worn with a pastel shade linen shirt. It doesn't get any more wannabe than this spot. One drive by and you'll know if it's for you.

Yeah, you know what kind of place it is when you see the "small" yacht dock for lunch. In addition to the yacht, the gorgeous surroundings for the outside seating look nothing like anything you have sat down at in the area. (Including Harvest) So, don't be surprised when you get punched in the face with prices or a long wait. For those coming here for dinner, the way you navigate around the "no reservations" is by buying a bottle of wine and sitting in the park across from the building waiting for your cell phone to ring saying your table is ready. There has got to be a better way around that! For me, I would pay to reserve a table... anyway, instead of doing that, just come here for lunch and wait in the forming line for the noon opening. You do not need to get here that early, but the place fills up so fast you cannot be late either. The first thing you will notice that seems to contradict the surroundings is how you order. You fill out a menu, bring it to the counter, pay, and then wait for the food to be brought table side. I really don't know how that extra glass of wine would work mid-meal so plan ahead. The food itself is divine. The Duryea's Lobster Cobb Salad is an absolute must! Hmmm.... did I say divine? Well, it is if you don't get the New England Clam Chowder. That is an absolute pass. Some may like it. However, if you are looking for a heavy cream version steer away from this disaster. The other odd thing about the menu is that most everything on it is meant to be shared. This is true that I believe this place is best experienced with four people minimum. Two people will work but unless you get a couple of the items on the menu that are single serve you will be sharing one menu choice for the meal.

Be the first to ReplyHands down one of the best restaurants to visit out here
Hands down one of the best restaurants to visit out here during the summer! I wish they were open all-year round. They have locations in Orient Point and Montauk, both places are stunning and by the water. It does get cold, so I recommend bundling up, but they provide blankets as well. The place was clean, they played good music, beachy vibes, it was overall a great experience! As for ordering food, you're given a clipboard of the menu to check off what you'd like to have, then you bring it to the register to pay, and they'll bring your food over to the table. If you have any questions, the servers were extremely accommodating and helpful regarding any of our needs. The wait time wasn't bad either, it was reasonable. The portions are great to share and everything we had was absolutely divine. I recommend the grilled swordfish, octopus, and corn! It's pricey but it's worth every penny! Celebrated my mom's birthday here, we had a blast. Hope this helped, enjoy!

Tried out this spot while at the Hamptons because I heard so many great things!Definitely has a beautiful view and layout. The lobster role was also very tasty so would recommend getting that if you plan to order food. I do think it is very pricey for the food but I didn't expect anything less because of where it is located. Overall I would say check it out if yo I are looking for a good crab roll despite the price.

The views are amazing and you really feel like you're in Mykonos if you go on a summer afternoon. They give huge portions, so be wary when ordering because we couldn't finish even close to half of our food. The calamari was delicious as was the tomato salad. We had to move inside for a brief rain storm, but the staff was very accommodating. They were running around trying to get all of the cushions inside - they should invest in a retractable awning!

Came for dinner with my girlfriend and we enjoyed everything about the food. The self order thing is a bit odd considering after that, nothing is really self serve. The seafood is really good and the clamBake is easily one of the best things my girlfriend and I have eaten together!Definitely recommend coming here
Be the first to ReplyBf and I did not dine here, but while coming in person to
Bf and I did not dine here, but while coming in person to order and later pick up, we saw stunning views of the water and the sunset, and there was a tranquil atmosphere. It's pricey here. I've had food of the same quality elsewhere at better prices. Bf and I prepared lobster at our cottage separately, so we decided to just come here to add to the meal. We ordered the New England clam chowder (which came in a small-ish cup) for $12, and we also got the tuna tartare for $24. I prefer my soups to be on the chunkier side, so I was a little disappointed in the minimal chunks of potato or meat (at least none that large) in the clam chowder. But it was flavorful, and I did enjoy it very much. Also, a minor issue but...it would've been nice to have been provided napkins with our to-go order. I suppose I've just gotten so used to many restaurants providing that with to-go orders.Food was fresh - of course one likes their food to be fresh, but are the exorbitant prices worth it? I'm sure you'll get more bang for your buck if you dine in and take in the gorgeous views.
Be the first to ReplyOk so I haven't been to Duryea's in years.
I heard the Management changed so we decided to go and give it a try. The food and the view are good, but the reason I'm giving a 2 star rating is the way the restaurant is set up. If you like going to a restaurant be seated by the Hostess then handed a menu that has a table number with a pencil to write down your order then walk to a window and pay a large amount of $ in advance for your food then this place is for you. Personally If I'm going to pay a large $ amount for dinner I like to be waited on by a a server and catered to. I do not recommend this place and you have to pay extra for refills.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome location very clean and chic.
..food is delicious...staff is very professional and friendly...will go back again and again.its worth the drive for 3hrs...
Be the first to ReplyImmediately as you pull in to the location the front
Immediately as you pull in to the location the front doesn't say much but maybe that which seems close to a house or a pancake house, immediately as you walk to the side of this house you walk through what seems some sort of "backyard" filled with little pebbles, rocks, which made carrying our stroller a little bit of a hassle nonetheless you are hit with this beautiful view, and I dare to say that was my favorite part, along with the music. It gave me a feeling of being in a beach in Mykonos or something like that. As soon as you sit, you are given a paper to fill out with what you want to eat or drink and when you're done you take inside and pay before in advance. It is pricey, yet you get massive plates( wood boards) with huge a side of French fries with certain meals. The calamari was great. It wasn't salty, it wasn't drench in oil, had the Perfect brown color, size cut and fried to exquisite taste. People and ambiance was okay. And waiters were a bit busy to come around our table which we would have like to be given a little more attention while needing help. I recommend. Why not?!
Be the first to ReplyWorst service ever! My friends and I all went to Montauk
Worst service ever! My friends and I all went to Montauk this week and were treated like second class citizens by a hostess named Christine. The manager refused to speak to us which left us wondering why. Then we slowly started to notice we were the only minorities at the restaurant and were treated in the most disrespectful manner. We asked to be seated in the shade and it was at 12 pm when the restaurant first opened so there were plenty of open tables. We were sat in a corner for a table that sat 2 people and we were 3. So we asked nicely to be at another table so the hostess put us at a table directly under the sun. The cutlery was so hot that it couldn't even be used! We decided to stay there so we wouldn't make a scene only to find ourselves burning in the sun. When we brought it to the attention of the servers we found them laughing about the issue and sent another server to deal with the issue instead of the manager. It is hard to believe none of this wasn't intentional and that we weren't being racially profiled. It was disgusting and honestly can't even believe how horrible the staff was. True definition of micro aggressions!!!!
