The food was amazing and the ambiance was peaceful but what really sold me on this restaurant was the service. From the moment we walked in they were welcoming and the server was very attentive. I will definitely be back with family and friends. DELICIOUS!

(Don't come dressed down!)Wow, that each dish was amazing, from appetizers to dessert! I even had a nostalgic moment with the pasta! And the scallops were phenomenal! (Next level stuff)Wow, that I could take home my custom menu all wrapped for me!Wow, for amazing service! I will definitely be returning! My compliments to the chef!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced! Small portions.
Had few times not fresh tuna . Very nice stuff and inside.
Be the first to ReplyI met an old friend for lunch.
This was my first time at the restaurant. The service was polite and efficient and I have to say the tuna fish salad sandwich- which should be very pedestrian - was delicious - served on a smoky toasted bread bun!
Be the first to ReplySolid place.
Everything is always good. I had a lemon drop which was 5/5. We had a dirty martini before dinner that was 4/5, but the Bleu cheese olives were the star. We had the gratin potatoes 5/5, the hamachi could have used a bit more citrus for my taste but still 4/5. The octopus is very good - maybe could have been cooked a bit more and the flavors could have been amped up a bit. 4.5/5

Excellent evening! The food was amazing (of course) but what really stands out is the service. Everyone was so warm and friendly. Going out of their way to make sure our group was comfortable. We had two kids (one celebrating her birthday) and they got pillows to help boost up the kids in their seats, everyone said "happy birthday". We loved the entire evening and even the two kids left saying it was their favorite restaurant in LA.

This place has the best service for special occasions or a regular night out. It deserves more than one visit to try the menu variety. Our entire experience was only the best. Thank you as always.
Be the first to ReplySuperb service.
From the valet to the host to the server, we were incredibly taken care of.Dining room was nice, if a bit dated. We ordered four appetizers. Octopus was best of the bunch. Pork Belly, Salad, and Avocado Salad were all fine. We had the duck, a Bolognese pasta, a bass, and Sea Bass.Bread service was nice, but servred cold, which did the gougeres no favors. My whole group agreed that everything was underseasoned...until we tasted the duck, and we all agreed that's where all the salt had ended up. We ate two slices of duck between us, and left the rest. This was very disappointing, as we had been really excited to come. Friends of ours had raved about the food, but unfortunately, we didn't have anything that we would go back for.If the food had matched the excellent service, this would be an A+.

For the price and if this is supposed to be gourmet then it doesn't meet the gourmet standards. The pork belly had big fat pieces that was more blubber'ish and not the standard fried fat pieces of pork belly. The sea bass was set in a tomato sauce that was mediocre. The red wine reduction for the steak was a little burned and spicy. The steak wasn't fantastic, it was okay. The gratin potatoes were not compressed tasty gourmet but rather your home cooked cream potatoes, taste okay at best. Sorry a bit disappointed for the price and expectations. The service was great but we got interrupted often as there was so many of them asking if everything was okay. They forgot our order of bread and later on the second glass of wine, but it came promptly after second request.

We have gone from amazing to epic fail. The worst! First and foremost.....lack of compliance with the ADA. WTF?@?@?@?@?@ Valet here we are. My very good friend, that I came to Craft with in 2015, because he loves this place, is currently in a cast, and using crutches after suffering an injury. I asked the valet if there was a ramp. Answer, "no." Ok well is there an elevator? No. Ok, well what do you do if someone is handicap? Are you handicap? No, but HE IS ON CRUTCHES!!! (Verbatim conversation)He is actually using crutches, leg in a cast! But there is a golf cart! Nope. They wouldn't give us a ride. So my injured friend had to muster up the stars in a leg cast and on crutches. Joke? Nope. Lawsuit waiting to happen. So we sat, hoping for a fine meal at a fancy restaurant and what we experienced was comically bad. Cocktails! I ordered a Grey Goose Cosmo. What arrived was a white drink of some sort...cosmos are normally pink as there is cranberry juice in them. Excuse me, is this a cosmo? Yes. (Quick taste, not a cosmo.) It's not a cosmo. Yes it is. Sent back. And then the very nice desperate manager came over to explain that there was a drink with absinthe, blah blah blah, what? Cosmos don't have absinthe. Oh wait, you're saying you used a dirty martini shaker? Gross. You all messed up and screwed up my cocktail. Stop making excuses and fix it. The food- kind of ok. The hamachi was good, very good. But small, only a few pieces of fish. The mushrooms, EXCELLENT. I love mushrooms and enough butter makes anything great. The duck- bleh. Duck with some blueberries tossed on it. Not worth it, gamey, and for sure not worth the $. The best part of the meal was the Meyer Lemon Pie. Beautiful, delightful, fresh, the things that desserts are made of. Maybe worth a trip back to Craft??? No. No, because I went to the bathroom and it was gross. Are you kidding me Tom????? A nice restaurant should have standard bathroom checks! 4 stalls in the women's bathroom- 1 was filthy, 2 had no toilet paper, trash had not been taken out, paper towels everywhere. The bathrooms at McDonald's are better. And no cute blueberry muffins to go. Not going back. Ever. With so many better options in LA. Will go anywhere else.
Be the first to ReplyI wouldn't recommend if you have a party of 10 or more.
I originally had 9 people on the reservation and my client asked if they could invite one more person for 10. I asked the restaurant day of to add one more person and they made me do a costly chefs menu because there were 10 people on reservation. I wanted my clients to order whatever they wanted but they forced us to a family style dinner and the chef picked the meals and not us. This was because we asked to add one more person. The meal ended up costing about a thousand dollars more because of the per person cost.
Be the first to ReplyLove this place for a quick bite to eat.
Amazing bread and salads!!! Great CA vibes.
Be the first to ReplyThe place looks like some boring Hyatt hotel.
The waiter was rude, waited a long time to get bread and drinks and anyones attention. They charge for the bread, paid $30 for it... portions are small and overpriced. Not that special!
Be the first to ReplyWe went here for a celebration.
We had beets and octopus for starters. My wife wanted to venison Osse Buco. I had the halibut. The venison was over cooked to a level that made it impossible to eat. Major QC flaw. She has scallops as a substitute. The halibut was OK but too hard fried. Not a culinary experience, but great service and nice ambiance

I have known about Craft for many years and have seen every season of Top Chef and would consider myself a Tom Colicchio fan so I was very excited to try Craft for dinner last night. I am happy to say it did not disappoint! The interior is truly beautiful and open. The well known architectural firm Bentel & Bentel did a wonderful job with the design. Parking is extremely easy and available underneath the restaurant with free validated parking. They also have valet right in front but the self parking entrance is literally right next to the valet stand. They have a large seating area inside, as well as a beautiful outdoor seating area. Last night we chose to eat inside since it was our first time, but next time we will opt for an outside table. For my starter I chose the Beet Salad and it was delicious. A wonderful taste of Spring in the Summer. For my entrée I chose the Soft Shell Crab because soft shell has been one of my favorite dishes since I was a child and it continues to be. The hot sauce with it made for a perfect level of spice and it would be something I would happily order again.I highly recommend to anyone for any occasion. I work a block away so the area is very convenient for me but it is also centrally located for anyone visiting LA as well.

I visited Friday night for my birthday dinner and I loved it! The personalized menu is an awesome touch! We were a group of 3 and all of us were extremely happy with our food and service. If available try the Robertson Blvd drink, it was delicious according to the people at my table. I would have given this place 5 stars but the desserts were a let down. But overall I would come back here.

Hosted a corporate dinner here last night for 23 c-suite professionals. Due to rising covid case counts in LA County, we wanted to move it outside to the patio as a precaution. No hesitation from Craft. Anna - who is a gem - suggested I order extra heat lamps as it gets chilly after dark in Century City. The restaurant and the food were first class. The white-glove service I received from Anna and Craft was exceptional. I host many corporate events/dinners all over the US, and doing so from NY is tough - especially when you aren't onsite and going by a website and/or an event pitch deck. In attendance were some of the most prominent entertainment company execs in LA. Thanks again, Anna, for making it a fantastic evening and going the extra mile.
Be the first to ReplyI had a pasta entrée that was just average.
The dessert was much better. Nice setting for sure but also over-priced. The service was prompt and pleasant.

The food here is great, and the personalized menu for special occasions is a nice touch. Due to the pandemic I haven't been in a couple of years, but I look forward to returning.

Came here for a private event and loved the atmosphere! It's a beautiful place with elegant decor that looks like a nice private home. Tables are set apart with good distance in between; our door patios have views of posh century city landscape and buildings. The event was catered with food not on the menu, but everything was nice and delicately prepared and served. Staff was polite and helpful. Parking under the building was fully validated. Seems like a great choice for banquets and events.

The food here looks incredible! Every dish arrived at my table looking spectacular. To start, I had an off menu octopus special and the hamachi. The octopus was one of the best I've ever had, not slimy or chewy at all. It was grilled to perfection with a beautiful char and exquisite flavor. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Alongside it I had the fish which was light and fresh in a tasty jalepeno ponzu sauce. For main courses I had the duck breast and lamb chop. The dishes looked fantastic, especially the lamb chop. However, these were extremely small portions. The lamb was all of four bites and the duck was four small slices, not to mention dry as well. I was definitely wanting for more with the main courses. The sides however made up for the tiny protein servings. I had the crispy potatoes and the "Hen of the wild," a plate of oyster mushrooms. The potatoes were the star of the dinner. They were a hit - hot, crispy on the outside, soft inside and bursting with flavor. They were soooooo good. The mushrooms were also really tasty. For dessert, I had the funnel cake with berries and sherbet. The flavors were good, but the funnel cake was a little oily for me. Overall, the dinner was good. If you're really hungry, I'd say go somewhere else. Craft is definitely more of a quality over quantity kind of place.

When describing this restaurant, the words that come to mind are: classy, intimate, minimalist, and chic. This little gem is hidden away behind the Century City mall. This is usually where I go for my business meetings due do to the quiet nature of the restaurant. The dining tables tend to be spread out from one another giving the tables and diners privacy. I would highly recommend ordering the: Gem salad, scallops, beet salad, hamachi, bread and pastas. The service here is very attentive and they have a large outdoor seating area with heaters! Definitely a place to go for a romantic date night or business meeting with colleagues.Valet parking is located in front of the restaurant OR you can just walk on over across the street from the Centurty City mall.

Anyone else on a rotisserie chicken kick at the moment ? Im obsessed with making them at home and determined to try the best of the best out there. Thanks to LA Weekly I stopped by Craft and was not disappointed. I went with the Jidori chicken with a side of carrots and potatoes. Everything was finger licking good! My only regret was sharing the dish with my +1. I highly recommend NOT sharing. Jidori Chicken- you can just taste the difference. Amazing flavor and the skin omg the skin. Sides - I would eat carrots everyday if they were made the way they make them here. I kept pitching the sauce on them on my chicken as well. The potatoes were the perfect crunch on the outside and perfectly soft inside topped with strong Parmesan cheese. Pomegranate Margaritas were refreshing and delicious.
