Stumbled across this while looking for tea shops on the internet, and what a find! The food was all amazing. We did the wine pairing and Uncle Mohamed the sommelier did not steer us wrong. He gave the perfect amount of information about the wine, wasn't pretentious at all, and introduced us to some hidden gems. Service was wonderful and the location is beautiful. Safe for walking, several nooks for larger parties or celebrations, cozy seats for couples.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our favorite London restaurants.
Great menu, inventive cocktail list, excellent service, and a lovely cozy dining room and bar. We go to London every year for Thanksgiving, and this is where we always have our Thanksgiving meal. A gem.
Be the first to ReplyApparently I have been generous with my 5 star reviews.
.. Corrigans is definitely 5 plus 5 stars! After reviewing the menu online we were pleased to see a multi-course tasting menu upon being seated. SOLD! We also had the wine pairing to go with. Each course was more delicious that the previous and the sommelier was very patient with our questions about each wine pairing. Corrigan's is a well-oiled service team and their course delivery was timely and exacting. Price was fair $220-ish pp for fantastic tasting menu and wine pairing. Strong dollar against pound made it even more special. Best meal in London!

Definitely very upscale, but you need to treat yourself sometime. You will not find better service or food in London. The 2 or 3 course lunches are fantastic, with either starter, entree, or dessert.Incredible presentation, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, will be back soon.
Be the first to ReplyCorrigan's is a very nice high-end British/Irish restaurant.
Be ready to pay of that experience though! With an extensive wine list that and a price to match that list, there's a wine for everyone as long as you can afford it. We had a large group of. 15 and was able to get a private room with a little help from our hotel concierge. It was nice and quiet in the back...until we showed up! But it's really private and nice to host a group. For the private room, they offer a limited menu, so I didn't get to see the full menu, but there were plenty of options and we even asked for items not on the menu and they obliged. We started with some Irish oysters from Carlingford. Definitely not a mild oyster, so go there if you're an oyster pro!Next I had the Irish beef Tartare. I'm not sure the topping was on it, but it has a strong spicy flavor to it. Normally, I'm not a tartare eater (it's raw beef), but I figured at a nice restaurant, the quality and freshness should be there, and they didn't disappoint. Finally, my main was a fish dish. It was served over a bean stew type concoction. Was good.If you want to try some British food that's not fish and chips, try this place, just be ready to spend some quid!
Be the first to ReplyFirst visit was for my wedding anniversary.
It was quite exceptional. The servers were attentive and friendly - excellent in all respects. The 2/3 course options were well prepared - including beetroot, porc, lamb dishes served with a recommended Bourgogne Monnier wine. Not to mention the English raspberry tartelette for dessert. All good.
Be the first to ReplyCorrigan's Mayfair is one of the kind of high end
Corrigan's Mayfair is one of the kind of high end establishments you would expect to find in Mayfair. When there are so many options, you know that you are on the right track when there is a long waiting list and a packed dining room. Corrigan's Mayfair was the perfect place to have lunch with a friend. We were shown to our seats by the excellent waiting staff and this was just the beginning of an amazing lunch. The service was great throughout and the team really made us feel valued. To start, I chose the venison tartare with Jerusalem artichoke and crab apple, which was put together with real style. All of the dishes we had were perfectly balanced with flavours. My friend went for the seared Orkney scallops with cauliflower, vanilla and cocoa, which sounded like a step into the unknown, but tasted divine.Looking for main courses to match, I opted for the pan-fried truffle gnocchi with mushrooms and leek flowers and it was just amazing. I never wanted the dish to end. My friend has a sweet tooth and decided that treacle glazed mallard with spiced lentil and pomegranate was going to satisfy it. She loved every bite, but we both still had room for dessert. We decided to share the British & Irish farmhouse cheeses. The décor was as divine as the food, and we sat for some time afterwards, taking in the meal we had just consumed. I would return in an instant, as would my friend, so think about Corrigan's Mayfair if you are ever in that part of London.

We came here with a group of 9 and had a fantastic experience. The drinks are amazing and expertly crafter, the wine list is to die for, and the food was simple but good. The ambiance is definitely what makes this place special and I would love to meet their interior designer! The oysters were fantastic, the Turbot was just ok and a rather small portion for the cost (but I will disclose I am American) - but sampled a few others and the Pumpkin Risotto was fantastic. The burrata salad was lovely and finally, the after dinner drinks trolley was divine. Try the 95 Port - you will be THRILLED.
Be the first to ReplyThis is better than most Michelin rated restaurants.
We had the asparagus appetizer with quail eggs and shrimp. It was incredible. We followed that with john dory with crab that was not over or under cooked.. just perfect. And the chocolate soufflet with vanilla ice cream witha hint of Baileys was amazing. The service is impeccable. There isn't a moment when your water glass is empty or any need isn't met. The wine list is also extensive. I expected to pay much more and was delighted with the reasonable price for this exquisite meal.
Be the first to ReplyHad an exceptional birthday dinner here.
The place was packed, you absolutely must book early if you want a seat on the weekend. The service was still excellent even though they were full. The cocktail list is outstanding, if a bit overpriced. All of the dishes we tried were truly haute couture on a plate. Try the banana parfait for dessert, delicious!
Be the first to ReplyHad a wonderful dinner here while visiting London.
The food is rich so avoid too many sides unless you are really hungry. We ordered the veal chop and seabass. Both excellent. Service was very good, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to go for an excellent meal while in London where there are so many choices.
Be the first to ReplyI can't say enough about Corrigan's.
I specifically was looking for Dover Sole which was my dad's favorite when we lived in London 50 years ago, and they had Dover Sole which was wonderful. But the restaurant is so much more. The service is perfect in a way which you seldom see today. The food was presented with perfection and tasted delicious. The menu has something for everyone. The decor is refined. I will put this on our regular visits when in London.

Nothing much, ambience was nice, service was poor, food quality was not exceptional, portion size is small, wine list was superb, overall a wasted night.
