Love the Shillelagh Club! They have good food, a friendly atmosphere and a surprisingly incredible craft beer menu. The manager, Adam keeps a close eye on the craft beer scene and makes sure to always get the trendy beers. Live music every weekend and a nice Irish feel! Everybody is welcome at the pub!

Adam is an excellent bartender. Perfect before (and after) any Seton Hall Prep game.

This is a great place to go on the weekends to hear music (no cover charge) and have dinner and drinks. The club has recently hired a new food manager who offers some delicious food choices: leek and potato soup, chili, salads, pizza and nachos, a great selection of hot and cold sandwiches and burgers, and a few Irish specialties. Last night's menu featured corned beef with fries and bangers and mash. I had the soup and a BLT on rye. It was served with fries, but I was able to request a salad instead of fries for no additional charge. Everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the live music and the friendly crowd.

The Shillelagh Club is a local Irish club thats bar is open to the public for patronage. It's no frills and the food menu is limited. Drinks are large and strong. Live music is typically playing loudly in the back of the bar. Most customers are friendly regulars. There's plenty of parking.

What a fun place to go to! I got a Guinness and had the special of the day at the bar. Little hard to find, though. Their sign out front could use a lighting up, and go slowly in their parking lot, little treacherous. But don't let that stop you from coming in. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The fare is delicious too.

I attended my friend's wedding this last Saturday. She is one of the sweetest and beautiful people out there. And word on the street was we would end up at the Shillelagh Club and that was a promise. The club was described as a bright lit, old man, dive bar! Yum!! You had me at "old man dive". I have always gotten weak in the knees when it comes to a good dive. The ceremony was followed by a lovely reception. After I danced in heels and sipped on bubbly, I was ready for the promised dive. We all squeezed into our appointed party bus and away we went. It was a quick ride but I would definitely not be able to give directions. Thank gawd for Google maps so I don't have to include that in this review. As we arrived to the Shillelagh Club, everything was as I imagined and more. I quickly spotted the pool table and a jukebox! And then as drinks were being ordered I noticed the ginormous sized beers!! Yes, please super size my beer! Now the bartender, John Dooney was undoubtedly our angel that night. He had people needing attention from all angles of the horseshoe shaped bar. I kept hearing one guy, yelling "Bartender! Bartender! Shots! Put it on my tab". He was obviously not one of the siblings to the bride. Mr. Dooney even tried to give one of the cousins his tip money for a cab since he wasn't sure the cab took cards. A heart of gold, that John. The tale that has been told was the parents to the bride and her three siblings had their second date here. And at this very bar, there was a random guy who said he could see their future as a married couple and all there little kids. They have renamed this man the "prophet". How many years later all there kids are grown up and drinking in their older sister' honor at the same bar. Thanks for the great times Shillelagh Club, John Dooney and the super sized beers!! Until the next time I'm New Jersey!

Serves all your major Irish beers and whiskeys. Has a pool table and some other bar attractions. Some nights they have live music with pretty good artists. St. Pat's day is out of control and you need to park 1/2 mile away to get in.
