The food not worth the chaos!
I should've not believe anything that being raved about on instagram. The food is just okay (there are other places that taste better), it is not worth the queue and their chaotic system of waiting list. They should've find a better system where people got their table based on number of people that wait on site and not text. Never again I come to this chaotic place.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Pancakes!
Attentive service and an unbelievable brunch. Best pancakes I’ve ever had: Banana Walnut Pancakes with their signature maple butter. I arrived around 10:30 AM on a Sunday and the wait for a table was two hours so plan to arrive early or make a reservation. I was lucky to be able to find a solo seat at the counter. Great brunch, specials, and cocktails. Great coffee and atmosphere. Although a little loud because of how busy they were.
Be the first to ReplyBreakfast was good
Went to the empire stores one in Brooklyn and the breakfast food was good. My Spanish scramble was exactly what I needed. Tap water should have been more accessible though
Be the first to ReplyVery nice food
Very nice, but popular. we were only with 2, so we had a place at the bar. if you're with more, you can better make a reservation.
Be the first to ReplyGood pancakes but too loud!
Visited Clinton's whilst in new york. The pancakes were decent and so were the bellini's but due to it being so busy ( which i guess is a good thing) it was so loud I could barely hear the conversation with the people on my table. Unsure how to rectify this, I would of stopped for longer but it was very manic. Overall good food bur very loud.
Be the first to ReplyFront door staff from hades!
If you can’t get a reservation don’t bother front door staff plays favorites likes a club in the 90s was given a 1 and half hour wait time for a table and maybe 20 mins for the bar after waiting 30 mins with noticing seating available at the bar for the entire time I was there I was told that I was mistaken about what the front door person said there was not available seating at the bar and I would have to wait to my surprise a woman who had been waiting on her friend for over 45 mins gets seated when her friend walks through the door. So you don’t seat people who are actually there BUT hold seats for a half an hour for someone who is late…. Thanks but no thanks!

Amazing fried chicken waffles and hot maple sauce - chocolate shakes - great service fabulous neighbourhood to walk it off. Great service — really good food.
Be the first to ReplyBest Pancake Of NYC
4.5/5 The best pancake restaurant in New York! @clintonstbakingco came into our lives in 2011 and still holds the "Best Pancake" benchmark for us. By moving from their old small venue on the Lower East Side to the shop on the corner of the same street, they have a more spacious venue and created more seating area (Note: It is impossible to find a seat without a reservation). We started brunch with Mimosa and Bellini ($12). We continued with our favorite, the Walnut Banana Pancake ($18). And we completed with a magnificent plate, Latke Eggs Benedict with Caviar ($23). We can say that the only thing that has gone backwards over time is the decrease in the taste, consistency and quality of the butter sauce served with the pancake. This is definitely a must-see place in New York. . #kaimbros

It was fast and busy but the pancakes were delicious. We had booked which is advisable as it’s a real popular place. Husband had chicken and waffles and did not need to eat anything else all day. Huge portions. Very good
Be the first to ReplyGood and bad
We walked in without a reservation and got a reservation 45 minutes later by a friendly employee. When returning, we got a great seating at one of the booths. Decided to try the famous pancakes and a chicken sandwich with fries combined with milkshakes. Both milkshakes were served swiftly and tasted really good. The food was a more strange experience. The pancakes were just as good as expected served with maple butter and berries. The chicked sandwich on the other hand was overcooked and tasted burnt and dry. The frites was also not the best, and looked a bit sad. Service was friendly and efficient overall, given the extreme pace of the restaurant through lunch.

Best blueberry pancakes ever! The pancakes are served with warm maple butter and blueberry compote. Truly next level even as takeout. Muffins and scones also delicious! We went many times over three weeks and always got takeout due to popularity! I will mention that they also have a very tasty crispy chicken sandwich for lunch or dinner!
Be the first to ReplyAs good as the reviews!!!
The blueberry and choc chip pancake stacks were unreal. We wanted to eat our way through the whole menu though - it all sounded and looked amazing! We went to the Time Out market outlet and were there first thing - so had no issues getting seats on the counter and watching the chefs in action. Brilliant American brekkie - highly recommend!!

The blueberry pancakes are mind blowing... Definitely one of the best brunches in the area. Even though it was crowded, we didn't wait much for our order. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Brunch
We visited this bakery because of its popularity and recommendation. We had to wait in a queue to be seated as this place does not offer reservations. We ordered different items to share out so that we can have a taste of variety. The service was good and quick.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Breakfast Place !
Number one you definitely need to make reservations (it opens up I believe one month in advance) otherwise you'll end up waiting as others were, but when you come in you have to tell them you have a reservation otherwise they think you're just coming in off the street. The place is lively and we were seated at the corner booth by the window so that added to the nice vibe of the place. I ordered things separately (i.e. eggs, bacon, hash browns and fried green tomatoes), The three of us shared blueberry pancakes, definitely something to order but frankly I wish they would use maple syrup and not the toffee flavoring they have. I didn't need to order hash browns since sharing a serving of hash browns with my daughter would have been more than enough for the two of us. Coffee was decent. All in all a good experience and would definitely go there again. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g60763-d479256-r877335542-Clinton_St_Baking_Company_Restaurant-New_York_City_New_York.html#
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Brunch!
We enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Clinton Street Bakery! Everyone was thrilled with their choices. DH said the eggs Benedict was in the top 5. DS loved his chicken and waffles. I opted for the special waffle: blueberry crunch with blueberry sauce and blueberry fool (we learned what a foodie fool is!) It was so beautiful even the waitress took a photo before serving it! Tip: make reservations if you don’t want to wait 1.5-2 hours.
Be the first to ReplyTrue meaning of NYC vibe
This place has been on my bucket list for quite some time, but the non-existing possibility of reservations put me off. This luckily changed. And I am so glad, we made a reservation on this very busy Sunday morning. I heard the hostess tell people, that it was a 1 hour 45 min waiting time. The atmosphere and the service is great, and food is even better. Can't wait to go back.

Love love love! Luckily I was able to make a reservation for my Husband and I very last minute due to a cancellation. Upon arrival, lots of people line up to enter without reservations and luckily majority of them got in. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is extremely nice. We ordered the Spanish scramble and the Brioche French Toast. Both so delicious. The orange juice tastes very fresh and the utensils are clean. Sadly there is only 1 bathroom stall so the wait can get long but other than that , great contribution to our first trip to nyc.
Be the first to ReplyGreat, filling breakfast
Great breakfast. Large portions. Fast and friendly service. Good coffee. No complaints. We got a table straight away but a large queue formed while we waited. Not sure it was so good that I’d have queued 45 minutes for it.
Be the first to ReplyVery Delicious Blueberry Pancakes
I visited my daughter who lives in East Village. During our time together, she kept telling me about the great blueberry pancakes at the Clinton Street Baking Company. So one evening, my daughter, her friend and I decided to have dinner here. We ordered the Clinton Sweet Cheeseburger, Veggie Burger and Kale Salad with chicken. All three dishes were well received. We then shared the huge Blueberry Pancakes for dessert and my daughter was absolutely spot on as the pancakes were very delicious. The service was great and the place had a nice quiet ambience. One could see how popular this place would be in the morning for breakfast and sure enough, the next morning, we noticed a very long line waiting to obtain a table.
Be the first to ReplyHmmm….just ok
Not sure why all the hype regarding this restaurant…. We had a reservation @9am and ordered the French toast , house sausage and scrambled eggs and also the southern breakfast and cappuccino and coffee …. My palate may be skewed as Ive traveled all of the world for food … im a foodie…. But this breakfast was average… good average breakfast. Nothing to stand in line for ….. Actually the hotel breakfast at the Park Hyatt was 100% better……. But on a positive note the service was good.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the wait! Spectacular!
Yum yum yum! This place is worth the wait. It could quite possibly be the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had. The brioche French toast has the right amount of crispness. The eggs Benedict comes on a homemade biscuit. Everything is spectacular!
Be the first to ReplyA one-time Thing
Like many, I had to try those pancakes, they say they are the best, after all, the view, the local blueberries, the warm maple butter... Long story short, My wife and I waited over 45 minutes for one order of this must-try self-proclaimed wonder. 45 minutes for one pancake order! Can't be a good rating no matter how they taste like. I would not call this place a tourist trap since the view is indeed beautiful and the pancakes really delicious. But I won't have time twice in my life waiting for pancakes for almost an hour. The service delivery is simply too slow, the system did not meet the product quality. We spent 30 minutes standing in an unorganized queue and then waited 25 minutes for the single order to be ready. During all that time, there was not a single smile from any of the staff, they were just so mechanical and task-focused. The pancake recipe was created with love, by the owner, no doubt, but definitely not delivered that way. Until they develop a more efficient, dynamic, friendly service delivery, I would have to rate this place as overrated. Besides the pancakes, the other dishes didn't look very appealing but were more like just a simple diner's proposition. I recommend establishing a fast track cooking-service station for pancakes only. This would change everything.

Best pancakes blueberry pancakes ever and Eggss Benedict, it quite says it all. Friendly and efficient service, huge portions and price similar to other restaurants here, worth a visit and eventually the wait.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food but scarf was stolen whilst there
The food was really good and the staff served us well but whilst I was in there someone stole my scarf which is so weird!
Anyway, good food but look after your belongings!
