Came here on a weekday night with a group of friends and made a reservation about a week ahead without any issues. Probably could have gotten away with no reservation but the place did get very crowded very quickly. It was a very fancy place located in the Americano mall. Our server was very warm and pretty funny as he took our orders and shared his favorite dishes. The food we got were really delicious. I may be biased bc I always love a good authentic Italian meal. We started with a prosciutto plate and it tasted so fresh with the tomatos and mozarella cheese. We also had a tzatzikki dip which was also delicious. Most of us got pasta for the main course and I remember the vodka sauce was absolutely delicioius. I got the beef carpaccio and as you can see in the photos it came out quite eye-catching. It was a pretty decent layer of beef on top of an arugla/parmesan cheese salad; loved both the truffle oil beef and the salad! Dessert was very amazing as well, I got the hazelnut and almond gelato and gotta say, probably one of the most unique gelato flavors and the scoops were huge as well. The food was delicious but pricier than I expected. Overall would definitely revisit!
Be the first to ReplyI have come here so many times, never really a problem.
You know what you're going to get. But we asked for a salad split. The bill came they charged us for two, when we asked why the waiter Arben said they don't split that particular salad. Had no idea. The waiter was so matter a fact, rude and condescending. Stopped in for a nice lunch split a salad and pizza like we normally do and end up getting charged for two which is totally fine and understandable if they told us that beforehand. Just put bad taste on a nice day. The salads came on small plates like they do when they split, how would we have known. Just simply explain before it's too late, not when the bill already comes.

Delicious!!!! Amazing food, the Robiola was exquisite, the buratta and muscles were so good! Everything was so good. Can't wait to go back and try more!
Be the first to ReplyNice vibe.
Food is on average since not many section in Americana Manhasset. Music are on the loud side, pizza was good.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was very good.
Service was excellent! We had: apps: Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad both very good Main: Chicken Parm very good with french fries some of the best we ever had. Dessert: Napoleon was great accompanied by a fresh hot expresso. Prices: moderate and priced appropriately. Overall the place was excellent!! 5/5 Stars!! We will definitely be back.

I'm a regular here and the food and service are consistently great. They can get busy on weekends, so be prepared for a fun atmosphere, but maybe a bit of a wait.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice family friendly restaurant for dinner.
We made a reservation for 6pm and were seated right on time. For a Sunday night, it was super busy and crowded (a bit too loud for my liking) but the service was quick and the waiter was friendly. We all mainly got the spicy rigatoni which was really well done. For desserts we got the cheesecake, the tiramisu, and the chocolate tart. The cheesecake was a bit too sweet and the tiramisu was very strong but the chocolate tart with the pistachio ice cream was the best! Overall it's a nice spot for family dinner and I would definitely come back on a slightly more quieter time.
Be the first to ReplyI was Completely Satisfied with this Italian Restaurant .
The service and staff was on top of everything. We walked in to have a drink at the bar and maybe appetizer or two! The bartenders John K and John are amazing super friendly and made an excellent drink. The managers Juan and Farouk came over and took care of me and my wife. They offered us nice table and we ended up enjoying a great dinner! One of the best clams we tried and Calamari salad was amazing!! Oscar my waiter was super personable and recommended dinner and desert for us. Would highly recommended to all my family and friends! Will return there ASAP!
Be the first to ReplyWe went on a Saturday night, party of 7.
The place was extremely loud, in addition to music playing. I don't understand how this place is not booking over capacity. Our chairs were literally touching the people's chairs behind us. We were squished at a round table in a corner. The baked clams were good. Tuna tartare was served without a cracker or piece of bread., never seen this served this way before. The zucchini appetizer was noting great. Antipasto platter was ok. Pasta dishes - pasta was served very hard. Lamb chops had a lot of fat around bone and were served with hard green beans. Desserts nothing out of the ordinary. Also, main entrees were rushed right out immediately after appetizers.. The waiters must have bumped into me at least four times while serving food. Do not suggest this place if you are looking for exceptional food and a relaxing dinner. Will not be back again. Worst experience ever.

Love this place & we are regular I should say, at least once a week come back to here. Always busy, I like summer is better & sitting outside with fresh air and under the sun

Keep trying to give this place a chance , their scene is great but the food sucks these last few years ! They can't even tea right ! They have this cheap no flavored tea bags that are either old and stale or just really cheap.. so don't get tea it tastes like just hot water . The pasta dishes have no flavor you have to ask for a bunch of grated cheese just to get some flavor going . Guys please do something about the food !

It should be criminal to call what they served me "spaghetti carbonara". For a NY Italian restaurant, I would expect that a traditional dish such as carbonara would be executed correctly, boy was I wrong. It was served in a thin sauce that pooled on the bottom of the bowl, and sprinkled with peas and almost raw onion. The meat was definitely not pancetta. And there's no way there was fresh egg used for the sauce as there was zero creaminess to the consistency. It was like a broth. The price was outrageous as well. Rename the plate to something else. It is a disgrace to call whatever I ate carbonara. Waitstaff was whatever. I don't think they asked us once how we liked our meal. Front host was a bit rude- which I can handle if the food was good. Only positive is that I was taken here for a corporate meal so I didn't pay the bill. I just feel bad having recommended it, as I heard positive things about this place. I would never go back or recommend. Oh, I also had the tiramisu which was meh. I have high standards for Italian food but this place is so far below the bar for me.
Be the first to ReplyBeen here multiple times.
Always lively, service always on point and food never disappoints! The brick chicken was so crispy and flavorful... it will now be a regular go to!

Stopped into Cipollini after a fun day of shopping and was very disappointed by the service. After inquiring for seating for 3 he proceeded to ask if we were "nice people". Baffled by the response we asked what he meant and he proceeded with " we only seat nice people". I will never step foot in this establishment again!

CIPOLLINI IS THE BEST!!!! The food is delicious, the staff is congenial and act as if we're long lost friends, and the best part is actually the ambiance. It's always lively and joyous and it never fails to lift my spirits after a hard day at work.
Be the first to ReplyI haven't been to a restaurant in the Poll Restaurant Group
I haven't been to a restaurant in the Poll Restaurant Group I didn't like. Toku and Bar Frites have been favs of mine for a while BUT Cipollini is definitely a making its way up the list. This spot is located in the Americana Mall on the Miracle Mile (yes the one Billy Joel sings about). One of the things I admire about the Poll Restaurant Group is that they know their audience. You come here if you want an upscale meal. Wait staff adorn classic waiter uniforms and there is a ton of staff ready to come at a moments notice. I just so happen to do lunch here with a friend and it was HOPPING on a Thursday at 12:30p. The dining area was 75% filled but we requested a table in the back where it was a bit more quiet. As our lunch progressed this area began to fill quickly. As for food we started with a regular pizza to share. Our mini plain pie came out hot and ready to eat, almost too hot, and it was delish! The crust was nice and thin but crispy. Not to diverge too much, but also the bread they start you out with on the table is rustic and hearty. It goes great with the olive oil that resides on each table. But don't fill up, because each pizza I saw brought out looked better than the next. Slightly satisfied but still wanting more, we decided to get salads to close out the meal (ok maybe we did things backwards, but we are adults and we can do what we want). I got the Antipasto Classico, which came with roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, two pieces of buffalo mozzarella and a ton of prosciutto. which made me feel like I have died and gone to heaven. My friend had the seafood salad, which I was fortunate enough to try and it was super light and fresh! All in all a great experience and another win for the Poll Restaurant Group!

For an alleged nice establishment, Hector who answered the phone and provided an unnecessary sarcastic response, is quite low brow and rude. Tried making a reservation and was told to "come in the front door" first come first serve. Simply stating the restaurant doesn't take reservations would have been sufficient before being hung up on, Hector. Learn how to communicate.
Be the first to ReplyBy far my favorite restaurant in Americana.
Everything is always great. My go to's are always the same every time. 1. Margarita pizza2. Baked clams 3. Black ink pasta 10/10 For drinks I always stick to Prosecco but the lychee martinis are my favorite as well. Service is always great, BUT they are always busy (but I never mind the wait) definitely a must when shopping at Americana.
Be the first to ReplyClean, lively restaurant, serving very good food.
But when did everyone become a restaurant critic writing multiple paragraph reviews and posting paragraphs?
Be the first to ReplyWe have decided to make it our annual holiday tradition.
Came here yesterday, hoping it won't be as busy, but it was packed. The host took our info at 6:25, saying it's 45 minutes wait, but at 6:45 we got a text that our table was ready. We ordered our usual favorites-beef carpaccio, seafood salad, robiola and margherita pizzas, veal marsala and penne cipollini, but this time, my daughter also wanted to try spicy rigatoni and we rounded off the meal with dessert-a cheesecake and a napoleon. Everything was super fresh and delicious, and the service was lovely. It's definitely not cheap, but the food quality is outstanding. Our dinner for 4 was $360 with tip (we also had 3 drinks). Not something that I would do every week, but definitely a terrific place for a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a great place for lunch! Always friendly service.
Fresh food.. we get what ever salad special they feature. Baked clams, salmon, grilled calamari.. grilled octopus.. what ever you want it'll be fresh and flavorful!
Be the first to ReplyThe sauce was watery.
It tasted like tomato paste in water. Just look at it... the sauce was literal water. It wouldn't stick to the pasta at all. Terrible food for a place that looks decent on the inside.

For a restaurant in a high end shopping mall I expected better. Although the food was alright there were fruit flies the whole time during our meal. - The fettuccine Alfredo was over cooked making the pasta rubbery- rigatoni pasta was good, I would order it again ย - fried calamari I would recommend - side of fries
Be the first to ReplyThis place is horrible.
ย I give a zeo star. The bar ย tender is socially awkward and the food is horrible
Be the first to Replycipollini is always a go to pasta restaurant for me.
I've had a few of their pastas and all of them have been delicious. my favorites are the black linguine and pappardelle veal ragรน. portions are pretty big and filling. prosciutto pizza is also amazing! each time I have gone, the host can be a little rude. I hope that changes as I have seen many other reviews on rude/bad service. but aside from that it is a nice dinner choice.
