Nice Italian dining, affluent location hidden off the Main Street.
Great hidden spot, just off the Main Street. Good food, particularly enjoyed the pasta and salad! Seating arrangements were of tight space but overall was a nice meal.

Fantastic pizza, better than in Naples, perfect leavening and lightness. The desserts are also excellent, tiramisu truly like the original from Treviso, good quality products used. Simone the owner very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff very cooperative. Excellent choice for a delicious Italian evening
Be the first to ReplySo let down by Cinquecento - not the same place I know!
Booked a table at 1945. We were told they needed the table at 21:05 and the bill was put on the table 2105 and asked to leave at 2110 because they need the table. Informed that the coffee machine has been out of order for over a month. No incentive to replace it I guess as gets patrons out faster! So sad that a nice dining experience is now worse experience than a fast food joint
Be the first to ReplyReally bad, chaotic & forgetful + burnt pizza (disastro totale)
The service is really bad, the waitressing team forgot every stage of every order of our meal. Visited on Friday evening at around 6.30pm with my family. We were seated promptly and started looking through the menu, it was not that busy yet. The waitressing team were 3 young black girls and 1 indian guy. When we placed our order the girl didn't bother to write anything down which seemed rather strange. It feels like the waitressing team could do with more training. - They took the order for drinks and then only came back with 1 drink and forgot our wine - Dropped the Olives so they did not arrive with our starters - We asked for table water and were brought table water but no glasses - Asked for glasses twice, and were then brought hot glasses from the dishwasher. The person actually offered to bring us ice for the glasses which they then forgot to come back - We then had to ask for ice, were given one glass of ice not two - The pizzas were also burnt?? Lots of burnt bits all around the crust and giant burnt bubbles of carbon. Reading online this is due to "leoparded dough" and either the oven is too hot or the dough is not being mixed properly Im sure that given the location of the restaurant they have no problems being full all the time, but the place is sadly a complete disaster and if i was less polite i would have been quite annoyed at the poor quality of service and the meal.

Amazing! Absolutely loved our food. My partner described the pizza as the best he ever had. Brilliant service as well. Definitely recommend :)
Be the first to ReplyLOUD nightclub music at 6.30pm ruined the night
Visited the Portobello rd branch on Friday night at 6.30pm for a farewell dinner with a colleague, just the two of us. Firstly the food & service was fine, just as you'd expect from any of these types of pizza places (pizza express etc). Cost was as you'd expect from the main chains as was the food, it was ok. BUT... we were looking for a quiet chat, a couple of pizzas and a relaxing evening, however... They were literally BLASTING out dance music so loud that we couldn't even hear each other in this intimate setting.... we felt like we were in a nightclub at 2am. We asked for it to be turned down, which it was but only a fraction. If I wanted high decibel club music I'd go to a club... it was completely out of place and quite frankly ruined the evening. Therefore I won't be returning.
Be the first to ReplyBest pizza in London
The best pizza in London can be found in this small place in Chelsea, which overlooks a small square surrounded by beautiful British-style houses. The pizza dough is light, the white one is crunchy and the tomato one is soft, the ingredients are of high quality, the service is more than good. Competitive price. Advised
Be the first to ReplyGreat vibe
Great atmosphere and buzz with the theatrics of the pizza making. Great service. The pizza was amazing, so lift and full of flavour. I will be back very, very soon
Be the first to ReplyWow!
What a great dinner! Superb parmigiana and Bread, the pizzas were amazing, hearty and the ingredients of very good quality. Really loved the Tiramisu. They have an extremely good wine selection for such a small place! Incredible. Service was very friendly and efficient, we were even upsold extras we really enjoyed for our dishes which very rarely happens to us in restaurants. Book yourselves in or come early as the place fills up very quickly!
Be the first to ReplyPizza good pasta portion small
Pizza was good but pasta portions very small. Taste of pasta was there just the portion size for the price not worth it. Service good
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food!
Simply the best pizza I’ve ever had in London. It really tastes like the Italian pizza, the dough is not heavy and you have so many options that is hard to choose. It was my first visit but I’ll be definitely going again. For those who don’t like pizza, they also have pastas, salads, so I recommend a visit anyway. The staff was also great and the location couldn’t be better.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic, cafe type Italian restaurant
The place was authentic, cute and just a really nice humble Italian restaurant. The food was nice - came out cold first time but they warmed it up again and gave us dessert on the house. I can’t fault the service, the staff were really really hospitable. Went for a birthday celebration with my boyfriend and was a great time.
Be the first to ReplyFinest Italian around
It was raining, dark and so hungry. Situated in a jewel of a quiet, peaceful, pretty square in Chelsea. Exterior was inviting, a real buzz about the restaurant, inside and outside too. Thankfully got a table, with no reservation, and the most fabulous food. Items were sold out as I was late, which only means the food is so good. And it was. Wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you :-)
Be the first to ReplyWe love service and pizza.
Great Pizza and great people. ThankYou to all! I love Chelsea Green but I used to go even the first opens many years ago. Amazing service always.
Be the first to ReplyFood fine, service largely good, but let down by double-charging for service!
A casual Italian eatery...pizza's not bad (though have had better as sister restaurant in Chelsea), service pretty good/friendly & attentive, and ambience OK, albeit not as buzzy as I'd expect for a Friday night. However, I've just noticed that we were charged service charge on our standard food bill and then when we paid, were given the option on the machine to choose 10%, 15% or 20% for service I think it was - which we assumed was the service charge, but was in fact an additional service charge. So we ended up inadvertently paying around 30% service - that can't be right? I should have noticed this, but trusted them not to charge twice, as have not seen this before. Is this their standard practice or? Let me know, as if so, it should be made a whole lot clearer!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing gluten free pizza!
We chose to have dinner here as they did gluten free pizza and we were not disappointed!! They do one of the best gluten free pizza I have had in London! Usually GF pizza becomes hard very quickly and therefore becomes difficult to eat but not this one. It was very soft and full of flavour. The restaurant is super cozy, just what we needed for a cold December night! I am looking forward to dining here again! My only request would be that they have a few more vegetarian pizza options as they are currently very limited!
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointing
Read some good reviews so decided to try this place for the first time. When we arrived I could see through the windows it was busy. It’s walk in only, no bookings. So I went to walk in, but the chap who seemed to be the Maitre d’ was the other side of the glass entrance door, and when I went to go in, he glared at me, then put his hand up, palm facing me very rudely, as if to say “no, don’t come in”. Not a great start as no further explanation was forthcoming. So we stood on the pavement a bit confused, waiting to see if he came back to explain what the issue was. He didn’t, and I’m not trained to respond to hand signals, so I went in anyway and asked for a table. The odd thing was he was then fine and said a table was available, so it was a strange start but the place was lively and full, so we though hey ho and sat down. Things went downhill from there; the service was chaotic to say the least - the waiting team were rushing around, bumping into each other and looking and sounding pretty frazzled. Our waitress brought our drinks then left us - and it was like we’d then become totally invisible. I kept trying to catch her attention so we could order. After quite a while I managed to do so. We ordered pizzas then sat for over 40 mins more whilst others who’d come in after us were served, had eaten and left. Eventually I asked the waitress where our order was. She said the pizzeria had lost temperature so our order has been forgotten?! But others around us were getting served their pizzas all this time. Eventually they arrived - my order was wrong, but by that point we were starving so just ate what was offered. Agree with other reviews that the pizzas were really soggy and sloppy - perhaps they rushed to get our order to us after their errors, but it really was a shame, as the pizza sauce was really tasty, and the crust was flavoursome. I then had to ask a couple of times for the bill which also took a while to come, and when it did it was wrong as well. Lots of gushing apologies from our waitress, but sadly our meal was not a great experience. All in all, disappointing food and poor service, and we won’t return.

Cute authentic Italian pizza restaurant! Great atmosphere and interior design with Italian music playing in the background. The white pizza was delicious! Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyGood pizza, but chaotic service
Food was actually decent but chaotic and forgetful service ruined the experience. We ordered some olives to start, they never showed up. My pizza came before the starters and they said "It all just comes when it's ready". OK well you could have told us that before.... Two starters showed up a minute or two after my pizza, but my partner's gnocci pesto didn't come. Checked up on it a few mins later and waiter went I will go ask the kitchen. 5 minutes later he rocks up and says "Sorry we have no gnocci left. Would you like penne? On the house". She reluctantly says OK (ordered it for the gnocci, not for cheap penne) and it arrived quickly. Then when we got the bill, the gnocci was still on there. Told we couldn't order a final drink either as they had shut the bar. Communication was bad throughout, and we felt forgotten about for the majority of the time we were there.
Be the first to ReplyRude manager and no one acknowledges you. Queue for an hour.
The manager is rude and didn’t acknowledge anyones existence until we literally walked through the restaurant asking anyone to acknowledge us. There was another couple waiting longer and someone behind us. I’m not sure if we were suddenly invisible but I don’t wish to go somewhere so rude. People outside were also discussing how rude the manager was and were fearful to go in and ask about their drinks. Not a cool vibe. Pizza might be nice but overall the people ruined it tonight
Be the first to ReplyRude staff and totally ignorant
My family and I attempted to visit last night, and were treated extremely dismissively and rudely by the staff. The website suggested that, while walk-ins were encouraged for smaller parties, tables 6+ were recommended booking. I tried multiple times by both email and phone over the 10 days leading up to the day to contact the restaurant in order to do this and got no response. When my parents then arrived at the restaurant, the lady on the front desk was extremely rude and, when told of my attempts to contact, merely shrugged at my mum, insinuating she was lying. It was extremely frustrating to then ruin my dad’s birthday dinner.

After exploring all day I spotted this place and I was in! I ordered a martini, margarita pizza and tiramisu. Everything was absolutely wonderful! I almost returned the next day, very sad I didn't.
