Grand Setting Not Matched By The Food
The owners have obviously spent a lot of money on the decor of this restaurant which is impressive but possibly a bit over the top. You have a wow factor as you're led to your table. Unfortunately, the food doesn't match the standard of the decoration. Some dishes were very good such as the drunken chicken and the choi sum but the salted egg prawns were tough and the wagyu beef far too chewy. I was a guest but looking at the prices on the menu this is not cheap. I won't be coming back when I'm paying as there are far better Chinese restaurants around town for much less money.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and service
The service was excellent, and the food was amazing but it comes at a big price. In addition, if you want to drink a bottle of wine then the prices start at 300-400.
I would definitely recommend going.
Nice but overrated place.
Nice but overrated place. I was not convinced by the food, the location and the service. Just a little more than average
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and food is fantastic
We came here for late lunch during Chinese New year. The service was spot on and they are very accomodating. When I forgot to pre-order their duck, they did try and see whether the can accommodate.
The food is very very tasty and the ambience is fantastic. The decorations are very classic and elegant. Loved being in here.
Double charge “mistake”
They tried to charge us extra for a fish we weren’t aware we ordered (we ordered the standard portion not an expensive whole fish). Then they charged our card twice — they said it was a mistake but that seems unlikely.
Be the first to ReplyVery average
The venue has a very old classic Chinese feel to it which was nice. Was underwhelmed by the food. Not worth what you pay for. Had not been here forever and now I know why. Do not see myself returning. There are other better Chinese restaurants out there. Do it as a check list but not for the food.
Be the first to ReplyAffordable Anti-Epidemic Promotions
China Tang is a fine dining Chinese restaurant situated inside Landmark. Tables are spaced out according to the temporary regulations, giving guests much space and privacy. Service is exceptional. Quality of the food is inconsistent. For crab claws costing $488/pc and $528/pc, it is definitely not acceptable if they taste like the frozen kind and lack the natural sweetness of fresh claws. However, the promotional $198 “Traditional Beijing Roasted Duck” (regular price at $698) is superb and super value for money. In addition, the anti-epidemic less 30% discount definitely helps upgrade the dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyVery average food at high prices
We love Mott 32 but it is currently closed so we tried China Tsang as a substitute and we were extremely disappointed. It is not in the same league. The service was robotic and the food was in no way special except for the high price. We had a 100% better experience at Mott 32 at half the price.

💡30% off for whole a la carte 💡$198 for the whole #Pekingduck .. 😋
#荔蓉上素盒 ($76)
Vegetarian taro dumpling will never be the same after you taste this version which features chewy diced mushroom and its deep fried outermost layer of taro is so crispy, light, and fluffy.
The Peking duck
crispy skin and succulent duck meat with a hint of smoky flavour
胡椒和牛燒餅 ($93)
晶瑩素菜餃 ($65)
蘿蔔絲酥餅 ($65)
叉燒腸粉 ($65)
XO和牛炒糙米飯 ($188)
Dim sum is part of Hong Kong’s identity you just can't miss. Whether you prefer to stick to the classics char siu bao (barbecued pork bun) and har gao (steamed shrimp dumplings) or try something a bit more modern, there is plenty of options to satisfy your tummy. ~
