Great, highly recommended
Very good and very pretty. Avocado toast and delicious scrambled egg toast. Welcoming service. Even the toilets are pretty:) I recommend!

A French brasserie style decoration. A short and nice menu of French dishes (even a coq au vin!). The dishes are good, but the quantity is very low. Especially considering the price. We left hungry, preferring to eat dessert elsewhere. Damage
Be the first to Replycute lunch spot
great cosy lunch spot in Notting Hill, very good eggs and coffee, and the street is so cute with lots of local spots
Be the first to ReplyOur regular brunch spot in Notting Hill
We discovered Buvette mid-pandemic, when it was one of the only restaurants with year-round outdoor seating! It has since become our regular brunch spot. The pastries are delightful, the coffee excellent, the hot chocolate (with cream on top) is exquisite. Every item on the brunch menu is delicious. We've taken all of our visiting family and friends to Buvette for brunch, and there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. We also highly recommend the cocktails (especially The Holiday). The food is amazing, but honestly what keeps us coming back is the incredibly kind and welcoming staff. Shout outs to Raf and Yasmin, who we see regularly and always make us feel like we are at home :) We also love that Buvette is dog-friendly! :) (Note: due to permits etc., Buvette offers outdoor dining only in the spring & summer months, but the interior is charming, and makes you feel like you are at an old Parisian cafe!)
Be the first to ReplyA nice surprise
We nearly went to Starbucks! The family chose to go elsewhere and we found this place. A real surprise. Nice coffee. A small but filling plate of charcuterie shared between 3 . Lovely atmosphere
Be the first to ReplyDisaster!
Disaster, from the beginning there was a queue and i was just waiting the lady from the restaurant approached me and i wasnโt the first in queue. She said we dont have a table for two, and i said i will wait in the queue and she said ok while actually i was. And the. She called me for the table and then she said oh no the table is for the three so it will be a waste for us. And i was shocked!!! Then her supervisor arranged the table!! She was such awful! Don know if it was racism or what but the treatment was awful!
Be the first to ReplyA little piece of France hidden in Notting Hill
Hidden away from Portobello a little French-inspired but American gastrotheque. Large portions. Nice jazzy music. Great atmosphere
Be the first to ReplyNice
Very nice little venue. Very french ! Loved the menu and set up in general. Food was average and service good on the other hand.
Be the first to ReplyRather Average
The tartiflette tasted good, though it was smaller than expected and lacking in potatoes and bacon - it was vastly cheese.
The shaved brussels spouts - raw, bland, and ยฃ9 for a small bowl.
The waitstaff seemed friendly enough - though I had to reach over to an empty table and take a clean napkin as we werenโt provided with any at our table.
To be fair, some other items - the Croque Madame for example - looked good and sizeable - but I wonโt be eating here again after this experience.
Sassy and stylish
Buvette is a bijou gastronomic destination with a low glitzy ceiling next to Electric Diner in Notting Hill just off the Potobello Road. Serving breakfasts then later in the day small plates of French classics such as croques, tartiflettes and cod brandade but above all stylish drinks and pastries it sits in its location hand-in-glove. After a concert at a nearby church I settled in on a Monday lunchtime to a steak tartare and a gloriously pungent stout. Judging by the conversations of those at nearby tables in French, Russian and Serbo- Croatian it attracts a cosmopolitan clientele. A tarte tatin concluded nicely a decadent interlude. Other branches in New York, Mexico City and Tokyo.
