Burgers and Brew 317 3rd St West Sacramento, CA 95605 United States Sacramento Reviews from The Last Year
We had dinner her on Monday.
We arrived at 5:45pm just in time for happy hour. The happy hour burger includes fries or a salad. I wanted something not fired so I ordered the salad. I was reminded that I'm not a fan of their salad. I'm just not a spring mix girl. The salad is plentiful It comes on a plate of its own.You get a whole tomato cut into fourths. It also includes mushrooms and comes with a vingerette. You can also order a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing if you prefer. The salad is beautiful and very inviting. You definitely get your money's worth with the salad. I also got the burger. It was good. It comes with red onion, tomato, and a huge leaf of lettuce. It's so big that everyone cuts it in half. It was very moist and cooked to a perfect medium. I highly recommend happy hour here.

This is a place where you get sat, then have to get up and order, pay at register, and there are no servers. It's fine if you're looking for something extremely casual, but not my taste when heading out to eat. The burgers were really yummy! We tried the BNB, mushroom & Swiss, and Buffalo. Mushroom&Swiss was by far my favorite! The onion rings are a must have side. The sweet potato and garlic fries were just alright.
This is a review based on several visits at this location
This is a review based on several visits at this location specifically because it is the best location! The food: super delicious hamburgers that are big and hold together nicely. They have a variety of topping and such you can add but I like a classic burger and every time I come it's cooked wonderfully. If you get fries, make sure to get a side of their sauces they have all kinds but my favorite is the jalapeño aioli. The beers are really good too. Service: you order at a counter attached to the bar then take your number wherever you would like to sit and they bring it out for you. You can sit outside or inside. The staff are super amazing! The ambiance is a little dark but during the day there is plenty of natural light coming through. It's an old fire station so has tons of history and a really unique spot. I want to shout out the staff and mangers at this location because I last minute needed a venue for 30+ people and they graciously accommodated by letting us use the top floor. This building is two stories and the second level has additional seating as well as a bar and outside area. The staff here were so kind to us and let us use this space and put up with a last minute rush of people coming and going all over the place. They are amazing and I highly recommend calling them to host your next event!!
I think the only good thing about our visit here was that
I think the only good thing about our visit here was that they accommodated for our large group. So we got to have somewhat of a private area upstairs. Besides that, the customer service was HORRIBLE. We were confused by their menu they had things on there that to them "didn't exsist". About 5 of us had our orders done wrong, when we went back down to let the staff know one of the younger ladies tried to help us as much as she could. But then we were RUDELY interrupted by a middle aged hispanic male staff by him telling us "yes, we know your order is wrong, we got it", as if he was rushing us off and tired of hearing that THEY messed up on our orders that WE paid for. Then there was a white middle aged women who was also very rude about our food. She stated that food that was on her menu isn't an option. I ordered a "half ceaser" which is an option on their menu they provided us. They charged me and gave me a FULL ceaser. Mind you, the portion of it is pretty big. It is like for atleast 2-3 people. When she placed it down I explained to her that I thought I ordered a HALF ceaser salad. She started to tell me she does not have a half (which on their menu, it clearly says "HALF CEASER" $4.??) she only has the one she brought me AND a bigger one. That is when I checked my recipe and saw the guy taking my order did put a Regular sized ceaser. Another girl from our group ordered the garlic curly fries and the gentleman taking the order put regular garlic fries. So we had to tell them about that as well and they seemed pretty frustrated with us. I get it could be frustrating serving such a big group, BUT we paid for what we paid for. . If we are telling you guys NICELY that you guys got our food wrong continue to service with good energy and don't get frustrated with customers telling you about the food they paid for came out wrong.

Great selection of beer with a rotating selection as well as a plethora of local options. Tasty burgers with specials depending on the day with unique selections of burger meat. The service is always quick and the employees are kind every time we're there! We always visit whenever we feel like having a chill date night or just want a comfort meal!
Always a great experience.
A chill environment and great food. The burgers are always satisfying, fries in every way, and of course the drinks! Refreshing. Customer service moves fairly quick, and always friendly. I highly prefer the West Sac location, more family friendly than the Downtown location, but both great food!

Let me start off by saying this was the worst experience I have had as a trans black woman not only was the food bad but the manager was so rude and didn't respect my pronouns kept calling me sir after I respectfully told him my pronouns are they/them didn't even acknowledge me at first made me unsafe and unwelcome so wouldn't go there if I was STARVING.
My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this place.
The food is so good we come here at least once a week now. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming 100/10 recommend
My Impossible burger was amazing.
I added gorgonzola and it paired beautifully with the olive oil already on the patty. We were in a rush to get to an event and the staff was super accommodating and got us fed and out the door on time.
Loved the location.
Plenty of parking. Cool interior. My gladiator fries were not as good or plentiful as the downtown Sac location. That was disappointing. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Long wait line to order as well. We where there from 4-6pm
Great food.
Great location and clean restaurant. Love the burgers and the decor. The service was nice and kept coming often.

I'll start out by saying that the food was decent, and the beer selection was great as always, however the service ended up being problematic to say the very least. We were a table of 6 that had a couple of different tabs going. We bought at least a dozen beers and a couple of shots plus food for everyone at the table. The ordering system is ridiculous anyway, and as it turned out, somehow the woman who rang us up didn't catch my step-dad's order. Despite this, there were multiple assurances that the order would be up soon. Ultimately, he got his food after everyone else had long since finished eating. He told the server he didn't think he should have to pay for the food because of the cock-up. A woman claiming to be the manager came over and said she could "maybe do half off" of his food. I'm going to pause the narrative here to say that the manager's effort fell well short, and the restaurant could have earned a lot of good will by just comping the item. I leave it to you to decide. Anyway, my stepdad said he would not be paying for the food and 3 of us got up and left. So what did the restaurant do? They added the food to my cousin's tab without saying anything. I'm not sure how they thought this was acceptable but it was not. If they wanted to collect on the burger, they should have dealt with my stepdad, not tacked his food onto someone else's bill. Needless to say, that was our last trip to Burgers and Brew.
Another great burger.
When we arrived the line was out the door. I was afraid there wasn't going to be any seating. After ordering we found spots at the empty bar. According to my husband he had the best burger of the year. The meat was nice and juicy. The bun was soft and just enough lettuce, tomato, and onion. I had the fish and chips. There was less fries then I recall getting in the past. The fish was good it was fresh and stayed hot through the entire dinner. I highly recommend the fish and burger.
Regrettably, my experience at Burgers and Brews was deeply
Regrettably, my experience at Burgers and Brews was deeply disappointing. Despite highlighting my son's special needs, his order was forgotten, leaving him distressed and believing he wasn't allowed to eat. What was even more disheartening was the absence of accountability. Rather than taking responsibility, the staff merely offered a hollow apology without any effort to rectify the situation. A simple explanation or acknowledgment from management would have gone a long way. The disregard for our situation and the dismissive response felt incredibly insensitive and disappointing.
Everything is delicious love the mushroom burger.
Service is always good and fast. Like the lighting.

I love this place, but if you order to go I would avoid asking for ranch or any packaged sauce. They will only give you one small container that is only 1/3 full AND they CHARGE YOU for it. However they don't charge you for sauce if you dine-in. Highly recommended either way.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
