Got what we asked for
We couldn’t really find from the menu what we wanted (which was a little bit of everything), but we got it anyway. Loved it, they made it happened. Really good service. 👌
At Brel there is still a lot of work to get to Michelin level.
We took the 35 euro menu on Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly, but when I asked for a cuba libre I couldn't get it. However, they had mojito, so with rum, and they had coke. I didn't really understand what the problem was. The manager then intervened and I was able to get this. The food was not spectacular. Small portions. The main course was rice with red gurnard. Not wow either. The dessert, cheesecake (I don't know with which cheese) was way too heavy as a dessert and we each took one bite of it and that was already one too many. We were also left with a bad taste in our mouths. The food was also served far too quickly. If the chef wants to reach Michelin level, there is a lot of work to be done.

Good food but very neutral atmosphere
We went because of the fame and the good opinions we had seen and for us it was not a relevant restaurant to return to, the food was correct, it was really delicious, and they gave us a Bobal wine that was also very correct, but the service and the restaurant were very unremarkable, at least for us, maybe at night I won a lot but we didn't see that distinction that they had transmitted to us

Simply excellent. Food was so pretty & the flavours were subtle & delicious. Alcochfas were divine. Shared spaghetti al trufo for a main. Scrum-shush with a theatrical finishing at the table. Will be back.
The kitchen nightmare
A disastrous service. The food took a long time, and then we had a clown waiter. He tried to be funny with us, and he was heavier than anyone else. I would not go back.

We, 5 adultsfrom austria, went twice in one week.The food is really amazing and affordable. The cheesecake, a dream! The pizzas, very good!!! The spaghetti with 30 months old parmesan, delicious! The black rice, amazing! For a michelin restaurant, very good value for a good price! All 5 of us were completely happy! A nice atmosphere with a good ocean view.
The first time but not the last.

There were 4 of us and we started with a casserole of mussels in cream, perfectly cooked mussels and a creamy cream with its little vegetables. We could have asked for a spoon for the cream, but half a mussel shell between the tines of the fork did the trick perfectly and served as a spoon; second dish that we shared, a board of various special cold cuts from Alicante, the service attendant brings the cart, and does the cutting in front of the table, all his specialties were delicious for those who love cold cuts of course, I especially enjoyed the "blanquito". Then, a black rice with squid, and this is the first time that I heard my friend's wife say that it was delicious, in fact I never order rice or other fidea in a restaurant, because it She is the house specialist and from time to time she orders black rice or others in a restaurant in order to compare and at Brel well done. Her husband also another rice just as good, my friend a very very good fish, according to her and I believe her; For my part, a simply rare solomillo (perfect cooking) and some fries. And then the dessert, like the previous dishes, just for me the chocolate mousse was a little too much. All accompanied by Pago de Los Capellanes Roble, personally, I like young wine. Absolute gem on the beach boulevard of Campello. Star class between mediocrity. Both the service and what is on the plate are top quality. The spaghetti Reggiano prepared at the table is highly recommended. Also the different-than-usual lasagna and delicious parmesan croquettes.
