Excellent food in a beautiful, cozy restaurant
Excellent food in a beautiful, cozy restaurant. Excellent place to spend quality time with friends and family. A must when you're in Paris.

Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and good value ! A bistro to be recommended.
I really have to echo the many positive reviews this restaurant has attracted ! This was a lovely little bistro ,off the beaten track and probably all the better for it . The staff were friendly and attentive ,the service good . There is a small menu and every course we had was well executed , tasty and delicious. At โฌ39 for three courses ,we all thought it good value particularly compared to other restaurants we had tried . I would certainly return and would highly recommend it .

This is a great restaurant. The food is great, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable for what you eat. It's a bit out of the way which I appreciate as it shakes out the tourists. A definitely must

DELICIOUS. The ambiance was amazing, the service was great and the food was absolutely dazzling. What an incredible restaurant and the price even better.

Off the beaten tourist paths you'll find a neighbourhood gem. Great food, reasonable priced, very friendly staff. Went there for lunch, enjoyed every minute.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food ruined by ghastly service
The food was excellent but the waitress, from the start, was more concerned with getting us out in time for the next service at 9pm (for which you have to leave by 8h45 max) At 8:10 we wanted to order desert and were told we could order anything but the pain perdu which was what we wanted. We pleaded a little, asked how long it took to prepare (apparently 15 minutes so seemed possible) but she refused to let us order the pain perdu.
The waitress had been rude since arrival, rushing us through the ordering process and being unpleasant. Refusing to take our dessert order was extremely dissapointing. In the end we decided to go somewhere else for desert leaving the table around 8.20.
There are ways of handling time constraints while keeping a smile on the customer's face. Before leaving I suggested they could perhaps take dessert orders along with the main course given time constraints. After all isn't it better for them to sell more food and have happy customers? I was hardly able to finish speaking before being hit by a barage of nasty rebutall when I was not accusing them of anything simply trying to provide constructive feedback which apparently they don't want. Now seeing the other comments I realise this appears to be a recurrent problem at this restaurant which is a real shame as the food is very good.
Good food in a stressful atmosphere
I'm not someone who usually makes comments on restaurants, but I think this needs to be said, for the restaurant's own benefit. I should begin by saying I think the food is good in this restaurant. I've been a few times and always like the food. But there is a real problem with the service. If you have the misfortune to book a table in the first sitting (beginning at 7pm), there will be a palpable pressure to finish your food. The waitresses were both lacking in basic politeness. Their attitude is completely off kilter. The second sitting begins at 8.45, but my table of four, who finished their main courses at 8.15, were told quite rudely that they could not order certain deserts because we would not have enough time to finish. This is on a Sunday night, presumably not the busiest evening of the week. I understand that this is a small place with limited tables, but it is nevertheless meant to be a restaurant, and people should not feel pressured to leave. At least this is not what I'm looking for when I go out to dinner. It's a shame because the food is really rather good, but I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.
