Bistro Na's truly lives up to its reputation.
The ambience is superb, the food is delicious, and the service is efficient, making it a standout dining experience. Every dish we tried was impressive, but two that stood out were braised pork belly, fried tofu, and fried shrimp. I must admit, the braised pork belly here is the best I've ever tasted. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. Their tea selection was also noteworthy, complementing the dishes beautifully and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyFYI if you're ordering the Peking duck you need to preorder.
I was able to do it in one day but reading online it's recommended to do it at least 2 days prior. Came here to try the Peking duck. Was very impressed with the service. They bring the duck out to you to inspect first. You can even order caviar with the Peking duck. I didn't but bougie people would be inclined to do so. I was also very impressed with the cold spicy tofu salad which honestly was the highlight of the meal along with their crispy shrimp. Would recommend Peking duck, definitely the best quality I've had in California though it was quite small. Get the tofu salad too!

Excellent service, different kinds of dishes all done with aesthetics in mind. There are a bunch of private rooms in the back for parties 10-20 ppl. Came here on a work night and it's buzzin. Really hard to find parking!!! Sure there's parking downstairs in the garage, that's also a headache to circle around. Food was delicious, fresh and a variety to pick from. Highly recommend their veggie and fried shrimp. Nothing is too spicy or too salty. Ended with a tray of desserts, well done! Not sure if they're still Michelin but it's time they come back around for another evaluation.

First time at Bistro Na's did not disappoint! We also got the dragon well tea with our dishes. Also, our waiter Tim gave excellent service. We will be back again!

This place was good a couple years ago but we went back recently and thought the items were average and a bit expensive for the price. The 2 best items I highly recommend to get: crispy shrimp and the lucky koi milk pudding dessert. Those were so good! Highly recommend making a reservation or else you'll probably end up waiting. Also, they do have lunch specials but it's weekdays and is not available around the entire time of lunar new year.

I came here with friends on a weekday for lunch and the food, service, and ambiance were great! The restaurant is located in a plaza but there was plenty of parking underground as well. We ordered a few of their most popular dishes and they were all delicious. The black pepper honey angus beef was my favorite dish. It was so tender and flavorful! I don't normally like shrimp, but their crispy shrimp was very meaty and good! I don't think you can go wrong with anything that you order from here. We tried their mini assorted dessert and loved trying the different desserts! My favorite would probably be the red bean roll and the sesame roll with red bean filling. The lucky koi milk pudding was also really light and creamy! It wasn't too loud during the weekday, which we appreciated. Also, our server Tim, was super nice, helpful, and gave us great suggestions on what to order. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!
Be the first to ReplyBlack pepper honey Angus steak - very tender.
Well balanced. Not too sweet and has a great peppery taste. Na's spicy chicken- very tender. Smooth, mild, sweet with a slight vinegar sauce. Crispy shrimp - meaty. Crispy with a small sweetness to it Na's braised kurobata pork belly - very rich. Very tender. Get that pork belly,

Growing up in the Bay Area, I went to Koi Palace several times and always known as the standard for top tier Chinese Cuisine. Until now.... My life has changed. Bistro Na has redefined what Chinese food means to me, just as how the food critic from the movie Ratatouille had his mind blown. My soul was immediately transported to China. Crispy shrimp 4/5 - perfect balance between sweet and spicy. Excellent crisp on the shell Spicy cold chicken 5/5 - my guilty pleasure and will have me coming back all the time! Nice balance of spicy and sourness. The cut of the chicken was still moist as well Honey black paper beef 4/5 - this had a great sauce and most of the pieces were tender, however there were some pieces that were on the dryer side. Pork belly 3/5 - the pork belly was very soft and tender, however, personal preference for me is that it was a bit too fatty. Some may enjoy it but it wasn't my flavor profile. Service 5/5 - Tim provided excellent service and his recommendations on food were spot on. Highly recommend giving a shout out to Tim as he is the perfect definition of what excellent hospitality is!

We got the Peking duck and it was so special. Hand served in perfect little pancake wraps. Our server tim was extremely kind and helpful in ordering a very memorable meal.

Amazing service. Great ambience. Have been craving some of their food since my last visit. Love the crispy mushrooms - never thought I'd ever crave any mushroom ever!! Great job!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and service.
Used to be a Michelin star restaurant. But the quality of food is still on par of those star rated restaurants. Some dishes are pricey but still plenty of choices of affordable dishes.
Be the first to ReplyGreat interior, clean, higher end Chinese restaurant.
All the dishes were very well made. The koi fish shaped cheese pudding desert was meh but everything else was great.Best idea to make a reservation for the weekend night. Best for a group of 4 or more to enjoy many different dishes.
Be the first to ReplyLove dining here with family & friends.
My go-to for Beijing-inspired dishes and atmosphere. Every dish that we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My personal favorites included the Crispy Shrimp, which had this crispy sweet/tangy skin wrapping the perfectly cooked shrimp, and the Braised Pork Belly, which was rich and tender. I always order the Emperor's Jar Soup as well, which tastes very healing and light. Also enjoy getting their Red Date Crisps for dessert, which comes in cute flower shapes. Thought their Secret Tofu was just okay (good but nothing special), and veggies here always tastes yummy but not the most healthy. Overall, great food and vibe. Servers are also always really thoughtful and kind. Restaurant is located in a plaza with an abundant of free parking. Usually do walk-ins/check-in on OpenTable but try to make a reservation if it's a bigger party. Worth a visit! (or two or three...)
Be the first to ReplyI would give a minus 1 if I had an option.
Portion was half size smaller with higher price than before the pandemic. I ordered a Bifengtang crab, but the crab was dead, you could definitely tell by the texture from the crab meat. Ordered the larger size of wok fried Japanese A5 Wagyu beef and mushroom, price went up from originally $168 to $268 and I wasn't aware of because the sticker of the price tag with $268 was removed from the menu I was ordering and it still showed the $168. Very disappointing experience will never go back again.

I was curious about Bistro Na's as it is an upscale Chinese restaurant with one Michelin star serving imperial court food. The menu is a la carte and best enjoyed family style. We started with a pitcher of watermelon juice that was more than plenty for a party of four to share. It was very refreshing and I thoroughly enjoyed it with my meal. The dishes that stood out to me were the crispy shrimp and Na's prime angus rib. The crispy shrimp was prepared beautifully in a light, crispy batter glazed in a sweet sauce with a hint of vinegar. I recommend to enjoy the entirety of this dish while it's fresh and hot. Na's prime angus rib was so incredibly tender and juicy. The sauces that accompanied the meat complemented the dish very well. These two dishes were the highlights of the dinner and I would definitely order these again. I also enjoyed the chili tofu skin salad and pea sprouts with mushrooms. I loved the crunchiness and size of the pea sprouts as I am accustomed to the skinny pea sprouts. The chili tofu skin was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of spice.Parking can be a bit difficult to find during peak dinner hours but you'll eventually find one after circling in the underground lot.

Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant setting was gorgeous.
The Menu has good options to choose from. Crispy Shrimp, Secret Tofu, Lamb Chops, and Beijing Zhajian Noodles are the must order dishes. Service was nice and prompt. Though it's a bit pricey overall, but do enjoyed the food and the atmosphere every time when I am here. Will come back.

Be the first to ReplyBistro Na's is located in the Camelia square of Temple City.
Their speciality is the crispy shrimp, which was delicious. Perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The taste was delicious. Not sure what it is, but it tasted sweet and a little salty. I'm not sure what is so secret about Na's secret tofu. I would have preferred if it came out hot and the sauce was lackluster. The chili tofu skin salad was good. Can't go wrong with bean curd! Na's spicy chicken took me by surprise. A boneless chicken in chili oil. So simple, but somehow so delicious. Perhaps my favorite of the meal. Na's braised pork belly was also really good! The pork was tender and flavorful. Everything about it was on point. I wouldn't change a single thing. Presentation for each dish was very nice. The interior of the restaurant is one of the most beautiful I've seen. I love the concept. Service was also great. They were very attentive and was always on the lookout to refill tea. Highly recommend checking out Bistro Na's!

Honestly I want to give this place five stars because the food is so good and it literally takes me back to eating Chinese food in China, but the place is honestly very expensive with small portions. But it also is a nicer Chinese food place compared to most places that serve Chinese food in the area so I get it. If you're in the mood to splurge on some good food then I think this place would be great for you
Be the first to ReplyEvery dish we ordered is beautifully presented.
It tastes exceed my expectations. The waiter knows his food and the history of the dishes. Had a wonderful time! Will definitely be back. Strongly recommended.
