Beast London Reviews from The Last Year
Very good
Superb service , phenomenal choice of steaks, great crab and great service with a lovely ambience . It’s top end price but it’s central London delivering quality produce
The fanciest dinner to date.
Tables were just very long rows so you do get the chance of sitting with strangers, which we did! Sat with a night club owner and had great conversation. The burrata was my favorite. We got waygu as well. 5/5 for sure. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
Good but overpriced
I dined on a Saturday evening in the build up to Christmas with a group of friends. It’s been a restaurant on my list that I needed to try for a considerable period of time and whilst the restaurant interior, food and service were very good I didn’t feel that the pricing justifies a second visit. The restaurant is owned by the same people behind Goodman’s therefore the steak is excellent and was cooked to perfection, the king crab was even better. Whilst the wine was flawless it was the cheapest bottle of Malbec at £70. Whilst I am happy to spend not inconsiderable money on wine it somewhat gets your back up when prices (just for Malbec) start at £70 and rise into the hundreds and thousands. From recollection there were only 2 bottles of Malbec under the £100 mark, a similar theme ran throughout the wine list. In total for 2 sharing steaks, 400g of crab, sides, 2 bottles of wine and a few beers it came to £140/head - no starters, cocktails or deserts. The point of this review is not to criticise in any way the quality of the food, ambience or experience. I’ve given 3 stars because for the price it was average, not exceptional. I don’t feel that the increased pricing provides you with a better experience than you would have at Goodmans. An entry level bottle of wine at £45/50 would go a long way to disarming the consumer in the perception of value for money?
Not cheap but memorable
Pretty pricey - even for London, BUT we had a great experience Very stylish venue Excellent, friendly and attentive service Very good food we thought Scallops (£27 for a 70g is a bit bonkers. It super tasty) Burata was lush Grilled octopus was excellent We shared 800g of steak and a kg of king crab between the 4 of us - cooked really well To be fair, almost half the bill was drink - two bottles of excellent Argentinian Malbec, bloody Mary’s, aperol, dessert wine We didn’t hold back!
Wow just amazing, best steak I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back for more celebrations. Lunch on a Friday
Wow Honest the best steak meal I’ve ever had. The moment you walk I. You really aren’t expecting anything wow. You go into the basement and then you know this is going to be special
Tasteful menu
Great food! We came to this restaurant by recommendation from a friend. The server was extremely knowledgeable on the variety of meats. We ended up ordering a bone-in-rib eye to share. The flavor of this cut was extremely flavorful and lived up to the hype. The service was great and would recommend everyone trying this place at least once. The communal table set up was not what I anticipated and in my opinion the only downfall.
Not as good as the hype….
The reviews, the menus, THE HYPE. Sadly this place just didn’t live up to it all. The food is excellent, ingredients second to none but the service was so so badly lacking. For £200 a head the service was well below par. Slow to respond, VERY keen to upsell yet with a lack of knowledge about what they were actually selling. Feels like a whole load of hype without a lot of substance.
Top quality.
I visited this restaurant in Dec 2022 with colleagues from work. The menu we opted for was a set menu, giving us some delicious king crab, beef dishes including wagu. Great quality of produce, very knowledgeable and attentive staff led to a great evening. Obviously not the cheapest place to dine in London, so no surprises there. Wine choice was good although there were some gaps on the wine list. No choice of riojas for some reason. But aside of this, I would highly recommend a visit to Beast!.
The best meal I've ever had!
We had one of the best meals EVER! The quality of food is only surpassed by the attentiveness of the service. Marianne was absolutely amazing - she was knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly attentive (not to mention she helped guide us through our meal - and provided the BEST recommendations!) An absolute must for any meat or seafood lover!

Hi @ExhaustiveMilk80, to be able to hold a bid you must have either the key holder medal or concierge medal. Holding bids allows you to work on trying to secure the reservation without someone else getting it before you and filling it
