Culinary gem!
This restaurant is simply a culinary gem! I recently popped in for dinner with friends, and I have to say, their lobster menu is impressive. The atmosphere is great, the service is fantastic, but most importantly - the food. The freshness of the ingredients is undeniable, and the way they're prepared enhances their natural flavor; even the most sensitive taste buds will be satisfied. It's a poetry of taste. A wide selection of wines by the glass allows for experimentation, and with the sommelier's recommendation, the drink complements the flavor perfectly. Worth visiting:)

Great food - scallops and dessert delicious. Nice and competent service. Worth recommending, I will definitely come back.
Be the first to ReplyExtraordinary food. An amazing culinary experience.
The food is simply the best. Everything we tried was extraordinary. Even kids enjoyed it as they were able to pick their own oysters. After the meal, the chef came over to personally ask us about our impressions. I recommend :)

the service was very slow and the meat was very cold. When we complained, a Greek chef argued with us that this is how the filet should be served dry even at these temperatures. I have the impression that MICHELIN divides it among themselves. UNACCEPTABLE
Be the first to ReplyCalm and comfortable presentation of dishes and drinks. Very responsive to the guest's wishes.
Absolutely excellent. Good food and friendly staff. The staff gave us plenty of time to enjoy during and between dishes. Tom's aperitif to be consumed before the dishes began to be served. Can be disturbing sometimes to leave half a dry 😅.

This is a restaurant with quality in all the dishes that are served and a fantastic combination of wines that highlight the flavors in both wine and dish. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable and share information about each dish and wine. Dropped in by chance and experienced a top taste experience
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful restaurant - an unforgettable feast of flavors
Last Saturday, my husband and I went to Albertina for dinner. The dishes served by the chef were a real journey of flavors. Wonderfully prepared dishes, perfect selection of wines for the dishes, and the culmination of it all were delicious, unique desserts. A unique feast of flavors and professional service. Albertina is a place on the map of Krakow that is definitely worth visiting. I highly recommend it.

We visited this restaurant by chance. Had a wonderful experience. Polite attentive waiters. The Argentinian steak was a treat. Thanks for us🤩

My fiancée and I attended a fine dining week for the first time in our lives. We didn't know what to expect, but to our satisfaction, the entire service, quality of dishes and wines blew us away. The waiters and sommeliers know their job very well and can talk about the dishes and wines in a great way. The dishes themselves are the essence of taste (applause for the chef and the entire kitchen), and the selection of wines enhanced their taste even more. AWESOME, I recommend it to anyone who would like to taste this pinch of luxury in their life.

The food was truly amazing, one of the best places I've eaten around the world and everything was outstanding. Both the sommelier and the waiters impressed us with their knowledge and service. This restaurant is on the same level as star Michelin places. This place is highly recommended. Thank you so much!
Be the first to ReplySpectacular food, but check the wine list before saying yes :-)
We were visiting Poland for a friend's wedding, and as we were flying into Krakow and had some time to kill we decided to make a day of it. One of the group was given the pre-trip challenge of finding a decent restaurant; one of the problems he'd had was finding a place that offered a half-decent vegetarian option, but Albertina were confident they could oblige. We arrived around 2pm to a very quiet restaurant. The staff were attentive and pleasant and their English was far better than our Polish! We'd chosen the seven-course tasting menu, and they'd said they could do a veggie version of that. The Amuse Bouche was cucumber ice cream with dill and parsley sauce; next came sliced scallops with asparagus mousse, then “deer tartare” (venison) served in a bone nestled in fried breadcrumbs. This was followed by paprika glazed prawns in a thick cabbage broth; then came Basque-style cheesecake with black truffle filling (anything that has “truffle” in gets my vote, and it was bloomin' lovely); then we had sturgeon sous-vided then pan fried with seared leeks and sorel granita. The penultimate course was hare with beetroot and fried beetroot leaves (which were amazing - first time I'd had hare and it was lovely) and a deep chicken sauce I'd happily eat with a spoon. Pudding was a sponge base lid with raspberry jus. And the veggie option? Marvellous - my wife was very happy with the non-meat elements of her lunch which included fried cauliflower and aubergine with a spicy salsa, and the chef had clearly made an excellent effort. One tends to find that the “veggie option” is peas cooked any number of ways, but there wasn’t a pea in sight and everything was very good and gladly accepted. (Ironically, when we came back home Mrs C went out with the girls for lunch and was faced with a multi-course onslaught of peas). The only negative element was the liquid portion of the meal, which we found a bit disappointing. The matched wines (which the men wen for) came in quantities of 75ml, which seemed stingy, and any hint at a top-up went unheeded. And the Sancerre the girls shared (we'd said "a nice white wine" and let them select one) turned out to be an eye-watering £130 for the bottle - which frankly I’d like to have been warned about. (Note to self: always check the wine list before accepting the suggested option). And when we were offered a digestif of Starka at the end of the meal (two of us accepted) we didn't expect it to be complimentary but we similarly didn't expect it to be 35 quid a shot. Again, our fault for not checking, but my view is that you shouldn't have to - the restaurant should be sensible and not punt for the top end without telling you. To be fair we were also plied with a glass of Golden Rose liqueur (which was really good) and a home-made equivalent produced by one of the staff (which was spectacular and had an uncanny Turkish Delight-esque aroma - he could make a fortune if he produced it commercially and sold it anywhere near where I live!). All in all the bill came to around £250 per head, which is a record for us - and given that we live in Jersey where the cost of living is pretty hefty, that's saying something. Do I blame them for the cost of the wine? Nah, not entirely - we could have checked and anyway it was a one-off, unique experience so on balance I'll forgive them. And the main reason I'll forgive them is because of the unbelievable food. Every course was exquisite, superbly cooked and well thought-out - and that applies to the veggie option as well, which was as good as any I've come across and was done properly. The staff explained everything superbly, they gave prompt service, and very importantly they were good fun and we had a laugh. The food was easily as good as the Michelin-starred restaurant in Jersey whose tasting menu we've had a few times, and the price was almost identical (and worth every penny). The matched wines were good (and, again, a similar price to what we're used to), but I'd have liked the occasional top-up as the quantities weren't huge and there were a couple of wines where we'd really have liked a drop more to enjoy. In short, then: excellent food, decent matched wines, both at sensible prices for the quality, but a shame that we felt the mickey was taken a little with the other drinks. But don't let that stop you going there - just make sure you check what you're being recommended :-)

Great food, great service. Fresh oysters, thought through wine pairing for menu dining. Rather on the expensive side but certainly worth it.
Be the first to ReplyAlmost perfect….
We visited here and took advantage of the tasting menu. All the courses were delicious, in particular, the cauliflower, lobster tortellini & the halibut. The quality was great, and the sommelier was able to advise us on some good wines. The one thing that let them down was that they added a service charge (half way through my bill) of almost £30 I asked them to remove this and I would add my own. They first said they couldn’t and then after I pushed back on it, did remove it. However, this was when our servers attitude totally changed and he became very rude towards us. I don’t mind paying a service charge but when we are only in a restaurant for 90 minutes, I think £30 seemed unreasonable. The meal obviously wasn’t cheap, circa £200 but all courses were delicious.

Lovely restaurant, lovely food, lovely knowledgeable courteous staff. Plenty of space, modern styling. Price reflects the quality of the food

The staff are highly attentive and look after their diners every want. We had the 7 course tasting menu, serviced over 2 hours, which made for a lovely evening. Inventive menu, with excellent, high quality ingredients. Beautifully cooked and plated. The crockery used & flawless surroundings in the restaurant, added to the whole dining experience. My only minor criticism would be that there was 3 fish courses out of the 7, but that’s just personal preference.

Amazing experience. The staff was so friendly, professional and helpful. The food was incredible and wine selection bountiful. Highly recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful coincidence…
We end up in the Albertina by coincidence as the booking made in our initial restaurant was failing, we went there on the advice from one of their competitor and what a great surprise. The staff, the menu & wines have all been great, the chef and his crew have a very creative approach to the dishes and the proposed pairing with the large choice of wines (by the glass) is just awesome.

The food and wines were world class! The staff made our evening just perfect, especially the sommelier was truly fantastic! Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyA flavoursome experience!
We had the tasting menu and were delighted with every course. Definitely up there with many Michelin star restaurants that we have visited. Extremely flavoursome and well balanced meal. The whole team were professional and knowledgeable on every dish. A little disappointed with the ambience due to the restaurant being quiet on the day we visited. I would highly recommend it Thank you

We had the 7-course tasting menu, with the Hidden Gems wine pairing.
The food was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. Every course was thoughtfully put together, and it made for a complimentary, but diverse meal.
The waiting staff were attentive, without being intrusive, and were very knowledgeable about the food and wines being served.
We were lucky enough to be able to speak to the chef, which was a nice end to the meal.
Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Gourmet food and lovely wine
We enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with a matching wine menu (hidden gems). It was super delicious and tasteful. Only downside was that the quantity of wine was rather small for the price of the wine menu. The staff is very friendly and take good care of the guests. All in all a great experience 👏

We visited here on the basis they were externally accommodating for vegans and this was absolutely the case. Fantastic service and exquisite food. Arthur also provided fabalous details regarding the menu. Their sparking polish wine is also a must have and the sommelier was wonderful.

We visited Albertina in February. The service is superb, food was lovely (albeit slightly limited for vegetarians) and the polish sparkling wine was fabulous. Loved this place!
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good wine
We went here on our recent trip to Krakow.
We had the tasting menu with the matched ‘hidden gems,’ wine pairing. The wines were all well chosen and really well explained by the sommelier.
The food was mostly delicious, and a nice mixture of calm dishes and then a couple thrown in that were a bit more adventurous in terms of flavours and textures.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant, it’s not cheap and certainly not one to go to if you’re on a budget, but for an occasion where you are happy spending a little more I’d be surprised if there are many as good in Krakow.
Exceptional
Tried the tasting menu with wine pairing, exquisite food with interesting flavour twists, knowledgeable team members and non intrusive yet attentive service, truly an exceptional experience.
