First time
I visited for the first time on an early Friday evening having booked for two. We were a bit early so ordered drinks at the bar. I wasn’t impressed tbh, took three of them to understand the concept of a whiskey and lemonade. Then they served it with that cloudy lemonade. Dinner was amazing though, we had the beef wellington which is carved at the table, and they flambé the peppercorn sauce as well. The started were nice, although I had smoked salmon and it was pretty basic for £20. Nothing special at all. Service was very good, staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was great
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food and service!!
We were shown to our table and sat down by a manager. A lovely man named Dali (I believe) then cared for us for the rest of the meal. He really did make it the meal outstanding; from his customer service to the recommendation of the absolutely delightful Beef Wellington. I would come again purely for his service, really well done! The food was absolutely divine and the atmosphere was amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone and I'm very excited to come back again!

We had a lovely meal. It was expensive but delicious. We arrived much earlier than we anticipated and the staff were good enough to prepare a table and seat us. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was great, staff were friendly and approachable. The outing was a treat and it really was a memorable experience. Thank you. Our entire party have pretty hearty appetites so it was clean plates and full tummies all round. We will definitely come again.

Amazing breakfast. Exquisite Bloody Mary. Nice and helpful staff. Great atmosphere. Sealed the deal in London completely.
Be the first to ReplyA great stylish breakfast
This was a very nice breakfast experience. Great service and atmosphere. The area is stylish and calm and so is the restaurant. The service was great. I highly recommend this place for a fancy breakfast if you like it soft and fancy.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid - a very far cry from former glory
Went for breakfast as a family of four. Hadn’t been in a few years but always enjoyed it in the past. Sadly the place has become a completely mediocre tourist trap. Home are the white table cloths, gone are the silver decanters, gone is the exquisite and knowledgeable service. The food was incredibly poor quality. I could taste the vinegar on the eggs benedict. The toast was random sliced. If I’d paid £5 for each of the dishes ima local greasy spoon, I would have been annoyed but at £20+ per dish - this was a sad joke. They also add an *optional* 12% service charge without mentioning or asking. Sad to say this was a terrible experience and another great London establishment down the drain…

I was in Jermyn Street buying some new shirts and I thought I would have some lunch. I called in at '45'. I would say the experience was 'okay'. The starter, Oxtail soup, was a little bland, the main course, which was liver and bacon was very good. I messed up and ordered lettuce instead of cabbage, as a side, but the waiter was polite and didn't laugh. The main issue was the 45 minute wait between courses. I know the restaurant is called 45 , but I didn't think that also equated to the waiting time between courses. There were certainly plenty of staff on duty, but the two I spoke to were unable to explain the reason for the delay. I guess that will have to remain one of lives great mysteries, as the restraint wasn't busy. It did give me time to watch the Gueridon waiter cook on a nearby table, which I enjoyed.

Food 4/5 Good oysters Drink 4/5 Good wine selection (a bit pricey) Service 3,5/5 Fast and attentive (not amazing) Ambience 3,5/5 The logical target feels classy Price 3/5 60pp is a bit expensive because of the complexity Total 18/25 (72%)

Very poor inattentive service; waited ages to be served the one modest course; over priced; very noisy; grit in lettuce; 20% service charge - declined. Go again - no! Recent refurbishment seems to mean Dover Sole @ £62.50; Pinot £15 for a small glass.

Lovely setting in a convenient location. Fantastic wine list, and incredible food! Beetroot burrata and Dover sole were two highlights!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent kedgeree
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had breakfast on Sunday. My friend said the kedgeree was the best he’d ever had. My omelette was lovely ( though more of a frittata). We would definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyAlways a lovely experience
45 Jermyn Street is always a favourite haunt when I'm around Piccadilly. Excellent service, delicious food (a simple menu but quality options which cover most dietary needs), good cocktail and wine selection, and chilled vibe. Not the cheapest place to eat but worth it.
Be the first to ReplyThe nicest , kindest , friendliest restaurant in London’s West End. Never felt more welcome !
The friendliest restaurant in The West End with caring and kind staff ? Most acceptable food and a lovely atmosphere . We go once a week and have never found a single thing about which to complain . Simply outstanding and we can’t wait to go in back!!
Be the first to ReplyAnother lovely meal
The last time I went to 45 Jermyn Street, due to Covid restrictions, you could only eat outside. Despite the cold & the rain we had a lovely meal so it was nice to return there to be able to eat inside. Once again the meal did not disappoint. 45 Jermyn Street is a lovely restaurant , the food is good, the staff very friendly but professional & you never feel rushed - my idea of the prefect eating out meal. I was with on old friend & after a pre dinner G&T my guest started with the smoked salmon whilst I chose the crab salad - both were delicious. For our main course my guest decided to order another starter this time the Steak Tartare which she always loves & the server adjusted the dish to suit what she wanted in it. I chose the Ribeye Steak which was perfectly cooked medium rare.. We ordered some chips to share. What with the complimentary bread, large portions of the starters we both decided dessert was a step too far to settled on just having coffee. The meal was lovely - you can eat for less elsewhere but I just enjoy everything about this restaurant & to me it offers great value for money

Excellent food, wine, service and atmosphere and the lobster linguine cooked at the table is fabulous!
Be the first to ReplyBest meal in London by a long shot.
2 couples ate here on a Saturday night. Amazing food, excellent service and a lovely feel to the restaurant. The Beef Wellington signature dish was outstanding as were the Scallops.
Too many excellent desserts to choose from but managed to squeeze in an apple crumble soufflé. Some
Good champers too.
This is definitely our new favourite restaurant in London.
Lunch
A restaurant which never disappoints. The food (had the white truffle pasta) was delicious, the service is always attentive without been to over the top. Can’t wait for my next lunch
Be the first to ReplyLate birthday lunch
We had to cancel my husband’s birthday lunch in December, because covid was getting bad in London. So we rebooked and went yesterday. Our son got there first as we were stuck in traffic around London due to a March. We got there over 30 minutes late. But our son had started on the cocktails already. The staff we so kind to us when we arrived late, you would never know.. The service was really great, they give you a seven star service but also make you feel like old friends returning. The food was amazing as usual, lots of choices, very good quality produce. I love the whole company, I had just had a personalised bottle of their billycart salmon champagne delivered for my friends 60 th the day before to her home. They do not fail to disappoint. Try any of their restaurants all amazing
Be the first to ReplyGreat food & great service
Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely warm atmosphere, the waiters struck the perfect balance in professional service but with a personal, smiley vibe and it was great to see their faces!

Another wonderful lunch. The food was impeccably cooked as ever, with the halibut served on a bed of truffled leeks with a champagne cream sauce being the standout dish - it was superb!
We pushed the boat out a bit as it was my birthday (which obviously required caviar!) but I still consider 45 Jermyn Street to be extremely good value for money as the food and service are genuinely first class.
A Huge Holiday Hit!
John is the reason to come; he takes care of the outside tables and still escorts you inside if necessary with love and care.
High Points: our corner table, John checking on us, the menu, the table side caviar service, and wonderful oysters
Low Points: our particular server seemed rushed and non-personal
Unique Points: the christmas pudding soufflé is worth coming for this alone but, alas, won't be a year-round item
Lovely meal on NYE
Our visit brightened up what had otherwise been a damp squib of a Christmas/New Year period. The food was excellent and service discreet, but very efficient. The atmosphere was lively, but not too boisterous. Everyone was clearly enjoying the fabulous food and good service. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington for two, served at your table. The meat was cooked to perfection and the pastry was very tasty. The dauphinoise potatoes and green beans were perfect accompaniments. All dishes were of the highest quality. We appreciated being able to order a 500 ml carafe of red wine, rather than having to make do with half a bottle. The excellent quality is reflected in the high prices, though we felt it was well worth what we paid. Thank you. Can't wait for our next visit.
