Good but noisy and expensive!
Upscale Korean bbq. I have mixed feelings. Reviews were excellent but I found the place so noisy and chaotic it was hard to relax or even hold a conversation. Plus as countless people have said making a reservation was a nightmare. On a positive note the service was excellent and the food delicious though very pricey. I frankly was not able to taste much difference between the Japanese and American Waygu and would suggest not spending the extra money. At $140/person (and we brought our own wine; corkage is $30) there are much nicer alternatives for a great steak dinner.

Super expensive. Not worth the money. We went there to experience korean bbq, but I was not prepared to spend above $600 for 4 person. Also no matter how the quality of their food/service is, they charge a 20% tip for themselves.

Top notch food. High quality meat. Kind service. We were having a hard time getting through on the phone or online for reservations so we stopped by and made reservations in person for the following night
Be the first to ReplyHigh end and incredibly delicious Korean BBQ.
Top quality ingredients. High end Korean restaurant! A bit expensive but worth it! Down to every details is well taken care of. Each banchan taste amazing and can be refilled. I would absolutely come back again and again for special occasions. So glad that there is such a good quality Korean restaurant within driving distance from my home.
Be the first to ReplyBest KBBQ Iโve had in the states
This is probably one of the best KBBQ places I've been too. The meat is similar to those that i have had in Japan and the places I went to there were hard to beat! Banchan is given and the servers are very attentive and replacing any empty dishes. The meats we tried were A5 wagyu short rib and rib eye along with the Kimchi Jjigae and Doenjang Jjigae. Skip the doenjang but the kimchi one was pretty flavorful and spicy. Both A5 meats felt like they melted in your mouth when you ate them as the meat was so tender. The waitresses even cook the food for you so you donโt have to worry about doing any of the work (except eating of course!). They also gave a dessert at the end, similar to dole whip that you get at Disneyland along with a macaroon. Overall, I was impressed with this place as the meat and service was great. It will be a pricey dinner but if youโre out celebrating, then this place is 100% worth it

Fantastic Korean food. High quality ingredients and very tasty. Service was also very good. A very functional outdoor area with heaters. Very nice! Iโm coming back!

This was on a whim @ moms request. She watched Korean soap operas and this is a commercial that always come one. Always. So For Lunar New year we celebrated early and made a trek to Sunnyvale to check out 10 Butchers. Arriving early (5:00 on the dot), we (mom, my little sister and I) got a perferred seating and after looking athe menu and making our order got to take in the atmosphere. The place is very roomy & stylish: hints of asian art are nicely merged with the upscale decor. There was a bar which was more or less centrally located in one of the mains dining areas. K-pop videos were blasting from the large led screen but it wasn't overbearing. The servers were a dressed snappy, almost as if you were on an aeroplane as opposed to a restaurant. The table has a small grill in the event someone orders from the beef or pork sides of the menu. I thought of it as 'The Butcher' portion of the menu. My family and I ordered from the "soups" portion. I getting the Dogani Yuk Gae Jang (looked like a beef and cartilage stew ) whereas my sister and mother decided on the Bibibab (another hot stone bowl soup with soy sauce). All dishes came with about 5 sides to be split up: purple mashed potato, shrimp, mushrooms, Greens (spinach?),a large bowl of kim-chee and small side of bon chon. There was also a cold cabbage soup appetizer as well. The food came out relatively quickly (although I'm sure we were the first orders in) . But seeing that the tables have their own grilling section, I noticed the other patrons would get their orders to the table pretty fast as well. The servers were attentive and prompt. Our server would explain each side dish as she produced it, although her voice wasn't much louder than the K-pop idols singing in the background, so it was hard to hear everything. The food itself was quite flavorful, although my order had 2 lil chilies next to it (Signifying spicy) I found it more zesty than hot. But very flavorful, none the less. The issues silverware were metal chopsticks and a spoon, I would of rather the spoon be a little bigger but maybe it's because I'm american. Although it did extend our time in dining. I was very satisfied with my serving although my mom did complain thinking her bowl seemed shallow to her. I would point out that every spoonful had either beef chuck, shredded beef or beef cartilage, so that was a big plus. It was also piping hot. My order also came with a side of rice 1/2 of which I ate directly and the other 1/2 I tossed into my stew. After dinner we were asked if we required drinks, or additional food (appetizers I recall the server asking). Although we declined on both counts we were presented with complementary desserts: a small portion of mango flavored shaved ice and a pocky. Altogether the bill came up just a hair over 93$ , which was up to my expectation.
