Lulu La Delizia West Perth Reviews from The Last Year
I've had better 😒
Lacking in value, selection and ambience. Too loud and cramped, not the intimate venue we envisaged. I had wanted to book after seeing ****+ reviews, which appeared to be good. However our experience did not meet our expectations.
Side street Forest Walk
OMG, this place is fantastic. As a group of 4, we booked prior to seeing a show at the Regal Theatre. The restaurant were great in accommodating our limited time. Our waiter suggest the Chef's special, at $89 per head, we shared 6 courses. The variety was fantastic. We found the staff attentive, and we were never without drinks. As the restaurant is small, we found the round table which would have been perfect for a couple, a little cramped for 4 people, but apart from that, it was fantastic. Would definitely go again.
Delish
Not for nothing. Is this restaurant rated number one of the #100# best restaurants in Western Australia. We had the chefs menu and were delighted. My English sister commented that a meal of this standard would have been far more expensive in UK. The chefs menu was only $89.very highly recommended. Service was friendly and efficient. It was lovely to dine alfresco.
It must be a joke? Go elsewhere.
This is the most expensive and disappointing dining experience. Food is very limited and quality and flavour poor to average. So salty too. Small serves and outrageous prices. Wine list ridiculously expensive. Wish I had read reviews beforehand. Never again.
Do not bother, drive the other way
Expensive joint, menu very simplistic, overpriced wine. Arrogant staff after all the fanfare and reviews in newspapers it is absolutely disappointing to arrive there and see the prices, the very little menu items and again the prices, all places along Cottesloe are fantastic medium priced and staff are absolutely friendly, super value for money
Expensive Italian food
My wife has always wanted to visit Lulu's and so we chose to visit on a Thursday for lunch. We booked which was just as well as the place was heaving. I've never seen a restaurant so packed out on a weekday lunch timeslot. Service was impeccable, verging on old-school. Great to see. It's only a small menu but there's enough choice for most people. It's an Italian restaurant so heavily geared to pasta dishes for mains. We went with a serving of bread for two at $5 per head. One piece each, unfortunately, which seemed a tad expensive. On the positive side, it was very crusty and light and soft inside and served with lashings of salted butter. Perfect. I would have been happy to have had more bread as a main. In the event, I had a pasta dish served in an unctuous butter sauce. My wife had the special of the day which was spaghetti with marron. She loved it. I tried some of the spaghetti and found it just a bit too substantial in size for my palate. All in all, the specials hit the spot. Servings aren't large but the prices are. That said, the marron dish was on the larger size. My wife had a lovely coffee. I saw panna cotta on the menu so that was a no-brainer for me. It was served with a burnt orange sauce/toffee. The panna cotta itself was gorgeous - wobbly and soft - but the orange was a bit too much for me in the end. Maybe because of all the butter I'd had earlier in the meal. Wine is expensive even just having a glass each. All up, the bill was around $170 which is an expensive lunch. Well worth a visit, though.
Great food, traditional good service
Great meal, good wine list, great service. House bread is worth trying even if you don't eat bread. Gnochetti was superb.
Disappointing
Highly disappointing … regretful decision Underwhelming food Overwhelming tariff. Wine list excessive prices

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
