Great food and a great location in the Ferragamo building.
Try the ferragamo wines- recommended! Service was dependable and not pushy. Located close to Ponte Vecchio- like one of the greatest locations in the freaking world!
One of my favourite restaurants in Dubai.
Il Borro continues to offer great food, excellent service and a lovely ambiance. They make a mean Negroni, the red shrimps with pasta are very good and it has a lively atmosphere. My only negative is that whilst service is good at the beginning once you have got to the coffee stage you are looking around to find somone to bring the bill never mind the credit card machine, which seems odd given how strict they are when you make the reservation re the time you are allowed to sit at the table! That aside, it is a great spot for people watching and for enjoying some excellent tuscan food.

The ambience was amazing. The setting lighting. staff was very helpful from the begining. Friendly,and very proffesional. Especially Jason, i wanna thank on behalf of my family his friendly face and helpful approach was definitely worth writing here. It was my sisters birthday so they arranged a little cake saying happy birthday on it definetely put a smile on her face. Absolutely a restaurant worth going if your in dubai. the food was amazing true italian restaurant.

Great restaurant
I know this name from Tuscany and I must say it’s the same quality of food like in Italy. Pizza, tuna tartar, pasta and dessert excellent, wine too and cannot understand bad reviews. Ambience is very nice and all the staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. Nice sitting with back ground music and turtles nearby. Reservation absolutely needed. Definitely will be back.

Out best night in Dubai - everything is absolutely spot on - great front of house, fabulous service,excellent sommelier and delicious food. We loved it.
A bit over rated
I reserved outside seating over a week ago. When I got here tonight, the hostess had an attitude about the seating and wanted to place us on the periphery of the restaurant. Mind you 2 hours later half of the outside seating never became full. Other than the crappy reception, the ambience and the service was nothing but great. So here is the killer, this was not a 5 star Italian restaurant. The “bread” given at the start wasn’t fresh and felt stale. The rest of the food was pretty much average. The pizza and the pasta were ok. I would give 5 stars for ambience and service. Food wise such a miss! I don’t mind spending good money on good food. The hostess attitude was a big turn off but the food was ok. There is nothing to crave back and come back.
An unforgettable dinner
I was nervous about going to a ultra popular restaurants in Dubai in fear of them being over-hyped and over saturated; however Il Borro did not disappoint in any category. We were here to celebrate a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of - from obliging our request to have an outdoor table on the terrace overlooking the turtle lagoon (best seat in the house), to the attentive service and great menu recommendations, to the complimentary limoncello shots. One of our waiters, Jason, was especially phenomenal, spoke to us in Italian, took care of our every need and was such a kind and pleasant person and made dinner extra special. An absolute must when coming to Dubai and, if you're lucky enough, to get a table with Jason.

Fabulous food, incredible talented chefs, whole team, Management, splendid service, we absolutely love coming to this gorgeous restaurant whenever we stay in Dubai it’s incredible, keep up the great work
Amazing food in a beautiful setting
This is our favourite restaurant in Dubai. We visited three times during our recent holiday and each time everything was first class. Highlights for us on the menu were the Vitello Tonnato and the duck and seafood pasta’s. Already looking forward to coming back in December when we will next be in Dubai
Idiotic wine pricing
The food is average and the wine is disgustingly overpriced. A quick search on vivino shows a typical 4-5x multiple on each bottle - I thought this was farcical and made a mockery of the food price. The experience felt rushed and very impersonal. I won’t be going back!
Beautiful and delicious
Loved this place and especially their truffle pasta. Wonderful atmosphere outside by the canal and the staff are all so nice and attentive. The pizza and burrata were good but not as WOW as the pasta in my opinion. I am very happy to have tried this restaurant and would love to come back next time.

A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE ! After a glorious week in Salerno and Rome we had just the one day to discover beautiful Florence. We enjoyed a fabulous private guided tour of a few museums and then it was time for dinner. This classy restaurant was highly recommended by the staff of Hotel Berchielli ( right next door ) where we were staying. We turned up at 7.30pm on the Thursday night without a reservation ( no time ). NO PROB ! The restaurant was virtually fully booked but I managed to convince Serena the charming manager to fit us in. We were seated at a table towards the rear of the restaurant....with a good view of the kitchen. One could tell this was a restaurant that did things a certain way.....keeping it classy ! Initially a server named Klaudia looked after us with glasses of water but in the end it was Serena the manager who took perfect care of us during our dinner visit. FIRST UP ! I ordered the Italian house beer - 5% abv...similar to a pale ale. We also ordered the Home Made Potatoes Focaccia ( Tuscan DOP ham and pickled artichokes ) for a starter. My ice cold beer arrived with a lovely tall stem glass and a complimentary serve of Artisan Bread & Flatbread courtesy of Serena. My house beer tasted quite good but the bread was a bit too crunchy for our taste. GOOD STUFF ! Our starter of Home Made Potatoes Focaccia hit the table and tasted sensational. We love well made focaccia and this was as good as it gets....the delicate ham and flavorsome artichokes hit the spot. ENTREES ! Serena was quite helpful when we chose our main dishes....my wife ordered the Fried Beef Meatballs On A Tomato Puree From Il Borro while I chose the Beef Sirloin, Garlic Green Beans And Roasted Cherry Tomatoes. It became totally obvious that everything about this restaurant was executed with extreme thoughtfulness and panache. Our beautifully presented entrees arrived together and tasted very good. DESSERT ! The dessert menu had a few interesting choices on it. Surprisingly my wife went for the Tiramisu ( it's usually chocolate cake ) and I selected the Chocolate Mousse And Rum, Honey Wafer And Candy Orange. OF COURSE ! And as we had found out in Salerno and Rome...Italians love to dine out late. The tables were filling up fast as we waited for our desserts to come out around 9pm. Our desserts tasted exquisitely delicate. I was not surprised to find out much later that the owners have similar restaurants in London and Dubai. They must be ticking a lot of boxes. We enjoyed our lovely dinner experience here right next door to the best boutique hotel on the planet. And then we walked outside to admire the spectacular Arno River ! NOTE - Of course with over 22 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2022 I can tell you what is great !

I only had one night with Tuscan food and this meal really put me off of this cuisine. All stars goes to service, deco and location of this place but none of the dishes impressed us or was even good. The onion soup was dry and had no soup! Just slow braised onion with bread! The signature beef meatballs were dry and the tomato source was far over powering. The lamb in lasagna has very strong taste should be reminded to customers since not all can take it. Ordered a classic desert crème brûlée and thought nothing could go wrong it that but no, the top layer sugar was so thick and custard base was cold! Was head chef working on the day!? But service and location is great. I also liked the deco of the place.
Perfect
We made our 1st visit at this lovely place, and was not disappointed. Everything was just perfect. Can only recommend others to go for dinner here!
The biggest disappointment and not worth the price
I had high expectations of Il Burro based on online reviews and it being listed as one of the ‘best Italians’ in Dubai on numerous lists. However, I, along with my friends, were left sorely disappointed. The waitress was unfriendly, could not advise why a pasta was not labelled as vegetarian on the menu whilst confusing vegan with vegetarian and self proclaimed that she did not know the menu. Another waiter cleared my husbands plate when he was still eating and there was visibly food on the plate. The waiter forgot to set cutlery for my main course whilst the five others on the table all had cutlery. We ordered a dessert with a candle for my friends birthday and they served it whilst one of our party was in the bathroom and missed the whole celebration. My husband ordered a beer instead of dessert and the beer arrived well after the rest of us had started eating dessert. As if the poor service was not enough, the food was just…average. The burrata was plain, the truffle pasta was definitely not worth the AED 195 price tag and we’ve had much better crab pasta. All in all, the experience and food was a severe let down and most certainly not worth the price being charged.
Rude staff
Rude staff and no manners. Food was amazing and value but one of the staff had no manners at all and if I could remember, the name of the staff was Marco.
Amazing food, world-best negroni and outstanding service
Incredible food, the best negroni I’ve ever had, and truly outstanding service by Prem Tamang. I honestly record coming here when staying in Dubai!

OMG this place was FABULOUS! We have pretty high 'foodie standards' and we loved every morsel. We knew we were in the heart of the 'tourist zone' so didn't take all the rave reviews to hear but... they deserve it all. The restaurant is really beautiful inside. Service was great and the food was amazing!! We ate every bite served. We started with a soup, a wonderful bean and bread soup and a fresh burratta with mint infused zucchini and sun dried tomatoes. SO good. They have house branded olive oil and it was stupendous. We ate every morsel of our bread serving and could have just about drunk the olive oil it was so good! It was lunch so we couldn't eat TPP much so for our next course we had the squid ink pasta and the omelette with spicy eggplant. Both were delicious. So fresh. We didn't leave a morsel on either plate. We highly recommend this place!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in dubai, i love everything there, the food the atmosphere and as well as the service. I would like to thank Mr (Ali) for his amazing service and his outstanding hospitality

3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
